Its been a little more than 8 years since I stepped foot out of the school, and my life has never been better. It was probably the worst 3 years of my life. There was an unbelievable amount of bullying in that school. I cant count how many detentions I got because I fought back from the bullying. The staff said that if you were being bullied, you were supposed to curl up into the fetal position and wait for an adult to come by. Are you kidding me? I never went to an adult for help because no matter what happened, it was the victims fault. Sexual harassment? Physical violence? Destruction of property? It was always the victim that got in trouble because they were antagonizing the bullies. Not to mention that there were several bomb threats while I was there, as well as black mold growing on the ceiling tiles in the hallways that, no matter how many times I reported, never got fixed. I dont know how much of the staff has been replaced, and I know that most of the people have graduated and all that, but I would, and will, never let my kid in there, where the only defense he or she is allowed to have is to curl up like a fetus.
