AHHHMAZING! My husband and I wanted a choreographed dance for our first dance at our wedding. We happened to be at a bridal show when my husband, then Fiancé, said to me “oh those where my dance teachers from a while back!” Insert Georgi and Adriana. They instantly remembered my husband! They were both so warm and energetic that we just knew they were who we were going to choose.Our first meeting, I had Georgi listen to our song and even as he was listening for the first time, ideas were just flowing to his mind. He took it and worked his editing magic and I swear to you, when I say it was edit perfect… I mean PERFECTION! The edit was done and ready for our second visit where Georgi also had all the choreography finished. I can’t even begin to tell you how much Georgi and I were on the same brainwave! It was beautiful! I teared up when him and Adriana showed us.Both of them are so fun loving! Every class was full of laughs and so enjoyable. I was sad to see it come to an end.If you are here reading reviews trying to figure out who to use, look no more! Georgi and Adriana are without a doubt the way to go!

Im really happy that I became a part of the dancing family present here at Dance A Lot Ballroom Studio. Here, the teachers make every effort to polish a persons (or couples) dancing technique and perfect it. Every lesson is full of serious moments when the teacher focuses on helping one to progress on their dance journey while also including entertaining moments of jokes and laughter. The teachers are professional at all times and put serious effort into aiding one in achieving ones goals. Highly recommend this ballroom dancing studio!

Dance a lot ballroom has been above and beyond my expectations. I’ve been dancing here for about a year now and would recommend it to anyone that is interested in joining a dance class. They kept the facility clean and were so accommodating during the pandemic. George is overall a phenomenal person. He makes the classes fun and easy. He’s a good teacher, funny, professional, just has a great attitude that’s fun to be around.

I had my daughters 9th Birthday party here. The staff is wonderful. They truly went above and beyond to make sure my daughter and her friends had a great time. The owner is very friendly and accommodating. The dance studio is very clean and they did a wonderful job decorating for the party. Highly recommend.

I’ve been taking the adult Salsa Shines (ladies dance solos) and Bachata class for over a year and I love it! This is my zen moment where I focus on learning new steps and it is a great stress reliever. Georgi is a lot of fun but he definitely teaches you the fundamentals and more finesse as you progress. Dance a Lot choreographed our Father -Daughter dance for both weddings. Due to Covid, we had to postpone a big celebration to April and had a mini weddings in August. Georgi worked with us tirelessly over Zoom and then in-person, helping us to perfect our dance. It was a huge success on both occasions. We received an ovation and there were a lot of tears. We wouldnt be able to do it without Dance a Lot studio. They are simply the best!

As a long time student at Dance A Lot, I have seen my progression from a person with 2 left feet to someone who enjoys being on the dance floor. and is comfortable dancing to different types of music. I have been a student of Georgi since January of 2015, taking lessons weekly. My initial goal was to learn Argentine Tango, a dance that looks simple but requires an excellent teacher Georgi never made me feel awkward and varied the teaching methods in order for me to execute the moves. Participating in two of the schools show case events reinforced my confidence. In addition, the adult students who I have met are friendly, supportive and full of enthusiasm. I must add that Adriana, Georgis beautiful and (extremely) talented wife, has also helped me in becoming a better dancer. As a last footnote, I just read that dancing is the best exercise for the brain! I loved this place! Im not a big fan of dancing, but my wife wanted us to learn for our wedding, so I bit the bullet and gave it a shot. Our instructor was funny and professional (put us at ease), and I authentically had a good time practicing there. Id recommend this place to anyone interested in learning.

Lets just say we never thought we were able to dance like this. Georgi and his wife Adriana gave us a dance routine for our wedding that at first glimpse we did not think we could do. However with their guidance and teaching, we were able to have the first dance of our dreams! When we were getting discouraged or stuck, they kept on pushing us, letting us know we could do it. Our dance had it all, a waltz portion, one armed lifts and plenty of spins. Our guests all have said they have never seen a first dance like that ever. I took ten dance classes with my parents here, and I have to say it was a great experience! Georgi (the instructor) is a great teacher - he is always very cheerful, but still professional at the same time. My parents dont understand English very well, but Gerogi tried his best to overcome the language barrier, in a fun way too :D Ive met a few ballroom dance teachers before, and Georgi is one of the best!

I was looking for a studio close to home for wedding dance lessons. I’ve heard stories on the news about bigots who refuse to provide services to all couples, but I assumed that only happened in the south or the midwest, DEFINITELY not Bergen County. Then I scrolled to learn about their dance lessons and I found thisWere not LGBTQ wedding dance friendly studioFirst of all, it’s improper grammar. Second of all, I don’t think anyone is “Q” if they’re getting married. Third of all, I think this is the only business I have ever encountered in the North East that has ever been gross enough to refuse services to all couples, let alone advertise it on their website.Seriously, gross. Disclaimer: this review doesn’t speak to the quality of their lessons, just the quality of their character.

My wife and I had no dancing experience prior to meeting with Georgi and Adriana. We also had a tight schedule and began training only about two months before the wedding. We knew we wanted to do something more special and creative, but couldnt come up with it on our own. DALBS did just that for us. Adriana created a mixed audio with our favorite song (Feel So Close by Calvin Harris), which then became the theme song for the wedding.They were able to incorporate a mixture of elegant slower dance choreography which then smoothly flowed into more of a club song. Georgi came up with the entire choreography on his own and it was truly amazing. Everyone was stunned and loved it. We still hear our friends and family talk about our first dance. Both, Georgi and Adriana were really easy to work with and were patient with us in terms of going over the choreography and going over each step in detail. It was such a pleasure to work with both of them as they saw were our strengths were and leveraged those to make the dance even more so special. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone for their First Dance, whether it be more simple and classy or creative and fancy. Our short bus commute from Manhattan was totally worth it every week!

Georgi made our first dance dreams come true!!! We first met Georgi many, many months ago when we decided that we wanted to perform a special first dance for our guests. He suggested that since we signed up for 20 lessons that we should make the dance more intricate and boy was it spectacular!! We chose two different songs and Georgis amazing team mixed them together seamlessly! I have never had more fun than performing the dance in front of all of our guests! He is such an amazing dancer and teacher and we felt 100% confident with our routine! Wedding planning is sooo stressful but we looked forward to every week of dance class! It was such a nice break in between all of the craziness of planning a wedding. My husband and I will be going back for couples lessons soon because we miss Georgi so much already! My now husband and I had left the entrance dance for the last of our list of things to do for our wedding. There were only 4 weeks left and we didnt have a step for our dance, so I decided to get down to work and find some place where we could go to help us with the choreography. After talking with Georgi, I felt quite relieved to know that I was in the best hands and that he would make it possible for our first dance to be great. SO IT WAS! We had 7 sessions with him, and in each of them Georgi proved to be very professional, he was always attentive to the mistakes we made and helped us to make our dance as perfect as possible. Really, if you are looking for someone to help you with your first dance, you should go to Dance A lot Ballroom. At all times Georgi gave us the security we needed to feel confident that everything would be perfect.
