All 5 of my children, ages 4-12 have taken classes over the last several years with Ms. Jamie at Breakout Dance Stuido. Our family has participated in the Discover Dance program, Hip Hop, Tap and Ballet and every class has been excellent. Not only is the instruction very technically sound but Ms. Jamie and the other staff at Breakout have built real, lasting relationships with my children. They add a level of excitement and energy to the classes that has fully engaged all of my children at different levels of abilities and attention spans, boys and girls. I have been particularly impressed with the way the staff truly gets to know each child, how they learn and adapt their teaching to work for every child. This studio is far more than just a dance class, it validates children and meets them where they are and helps them grow as dancers, teammates and overall human beings.

Jamie has the energy, creativity, and experience for working with kids of all ages and ability levels. She is always looking for ways to make things fun for the kids while they learn or perform. We love taking dance classes from her and are so glad she opened a studio in Fairbanks!

My daughter loves going to dance and learning from Ms. Jaime and her daughter. It is awesome to see my daughter so excited about dance and I honestly believe that the love of dance Ms. Jaime and her family have is part of the reason why my daughter enjoys it so much that this entire summer she has asked when do I go back to dance class.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Jamie and Breakout Dance Studio! Our daughter danced for the first time this last school year and her confidence boosted so much from beginning of the year to the final show! I promise that you won’t regret joining this studio!

This was hands down, the best studio I could have ever wished to stumble upon! Jamie and her family are absolute rockstars! The effort and care that goes into each class, the way Jamie works with the kids, and the will to make the events so spectacular, have made it impossible to consider another studio for my family. My 1st grader went in there with no knowledge, never having choreographed or anything, and she can still perform her dances as though she just finished class. That is amazing to me and Im proud every time she busts a move! And grateful for all the hard work Breakout put into it!

We are so grateful to have discovered such an amazing dance studio. Both our young daughters love going to dance class and are getting strong dance foundations. We also love the feeling of community cultivated through movie nights and other events. The availability of live streaming courses is an amazing benefit for more seasoned dancers as well.

My son took the DiscoverTots dance class. Hes fairly shy and I was unsure how he would do in the class but Jaime was absolutely wonderful! Its a really fun class for the kiddos and I highly recommend it.

My 2year old liked the Dance with Me series. Jamie was energetic/fun, encouraging, and patient with toddlers who you cant expect to follow step. Jamie reinforced to kiddos and parents that regardless of the directionless chaos it always seemed to be, the littles enjoy it and letting them free-form while still trying to get them to follow some steps or basic movements is still good fun for them.The only down side is I thought the sessions were a bit short on time for toddlers. By the time they were comfortable enough to stop staring at each other start to moving around it was time to clean-up.That and I had to leave work early for it.Kid did (and still does) sing the songs and do the dances at home. Overall, I am glad I did the class with kid and Jamie, and would do it again if my schedule allows.

My daughter was 2yrs old almost 3yrs and really enjoyed her dance movement class. She already wants to do another class and we definitely would take a class here again
