Wonderful club. Very knowledgeable coaches. Weve been with the club for a year, and my son has learned so much and achieved great results becoming a rated fencer.

This club is truly the best in the area for people who want to be competitive. The fencers are motivated and all want to win, however they are all extremely respectful towards one another. The head coach was a pentathlete for Korea and coached the Korean National Fencing team. To him, fencing is not just about the technique and physical fitness, it is also extremely dependent on mentality. He enforces this competitive mentality in all of his fencers and in turn, they all push each other and improve together. I highly recommend coming to this club, it is diverse and extremely accepting.

My daughter has been going to this club for almost a year (it came highly recommended to us by a friend) and grew so much as a fencer in that short period. Coaches are passionate about fencing and sincerely want students to get better. Other student fencers are also very friendly, and the club has a very good, highly ranked student fencers so it is a conducive environment for my daughter, a novice, to learn from them and put extra effort into the sport to be like them one day. In general, its a great club and I highly recommend it.

Love the fencing and the atmosphere. I have been fencing for two years and have taken tremendous strides. Everyone here pushes each other to do better which equates to a competitive but positive environment.

A great place with lots of people to fence. Very friendly atmosphere. Coming here I had 3 years of fencing experience. Within 2 years of coming I became a nationally ranked fencer. An unbeatable location right off 495.

This new club is a gem, led by an Olympic coach. All the coaches are great and really care for the children. After only two years they are now ranked the number one club in the Washington DC area and #19 nationally (National Fencing Club Youth Championships). They in it for love of the sport, not for the business. My son loves it.

My kid and I have been going this club little over year and he really loves it. The coaches there are very caring and they give personal attentions when you need it, but at the same time they give you room to grow and develop at your speed. The club is not too big so you dont become a number and thats what I really like about this club. The main coach is very knowledgeable in his craft and very warm and caring about his student.This is my first exposure to fencing but one thing I noticed is that you get a whole body workout in a very short time. I recommend this fecing club to all my friends.

My son started fencing at POFC February 2019 with a D2018 rating. June 1, 2019 my son achieved B2019. Coach Youngchan trained/trains my son to reach his maximum potential. POFCs epee advance classes are rigorous. And his private lessons are intense. We owe our sons achievements to POFC. We highly recommend this club.
