Scam school just a big wast of time dont even think about making appointment with them, they are only consider about gathering money from you. No one welling to help, wasting my time sending them emails, calling and finally respond back to my emails and arranged an interview for next day then received a phone call confirming an interview with same day $150 registration fee & down payment $3000 non-refundable, I went to their place to straight everything up, the lady refused to talk to me regards any information just insisted gathering money. classes start days not given no end dates I didnt find less than one star to rate them.

With switching careers, the Medical Learning Center Inc. has helped me make that great transition. There isn’t a lot of requirements to start with the course. I’m in my second semester now, despite the pandemic and lockdown their still manage to teach online and hopefully in person soon with the clinical. The school also maintain such as precautions in terms of social distancing, proper wearing of gloves and mask. In terms of faculty/teacher and student so far we all catching up in this new world of technology , but GRANTEE no student our left behind. They make sure every chapter of the our lesson are well understood by each of the student.

I cannot tell the next person what do. All I know is when my experience with school has been disrespectful and disappointing..I’ve been trying to get in contact with school for months now. I tried back in November of 2020. I called trying to reach someone, I’ve left voicemails and I’ve even sent email. On the website I requested information and I never received anything back. Last month I was finally able to get some type of information from then when I requested for the 3rd time for the information and it took about a week to even get the information . The email was not helpful at all. It was like someone just copied and pasted the information on the website to the email. There weren’t even any start dates. I emailed back and asked when do classes start for March because they told me that classes do start in March on the weekend as if I didn’t already see that on the website. I had to send two emails out to finally get a response. Three days later I got a response in ALL CAPS as if they were yelling at me and said “ THERE ARE NO IMMEDIATE PLANS FOR ANOTHER CLASS AT THIS TIME. PLEASE TRY OTHER NURSING SCHOOL S IN THE AREA THAT OFFER THE NURSE AIDE PROGRAM.” I find that to be just crazy. I’ve never seen a professional school send an email in all caps back. That was all that was said in the email. So I emailed back and said what about the June classes. I have not yet heard anything back. I’ve also called the school multiple times and no one can answer. Today I constantly called them because I find this to be ridiculous and unprofessional. When I was calling someone would answer the phone and then hang the phone up or send the phone to voice. If you want my opinion. A school who doesn’t answer the phone or can’t PROFESSIONALLY email their viewers is not a school for you. Like they said there are other nursing school in the area so best believe I will go to other nursing school in the area.Thank you and stay blessed

I am so happy that I joined this school to obtain my LPN license! The nursing school was educational, exciting, and fun. It was hard as it should be, you are preparing/learning to care for patients and to save lives. The staff is great and always very supportive. The classrooms are perfect size and makes learning more personal. l learned so much and really enjoyed being a student here. If you work hard from the start, put in effort and time into studying and assignments, you will definitely succeed. Dont complain and find excuses! Become the best health care provider you can be for your community and yourself. I would do it all over again and have no regrets.

I am glad to have gone to THIS school. I called Medical Learning Center and left a message and the administrator called me back. She is as excited for you to begin your education as you are! Becoming a CNA was something I wanted for a long time so I appreciated that. I made an appointment and I was given a tour. I was a bit excited to hear books and scrubs were included with tuition. (I’m thrifty) My instructor was a lovely woman too. I was genuinely sad I wouldn’t be seeing her anymore on our last day with her. The facility where clinical training is held is amazing and the staff there is eager to help the students. The patients there love seeing the students. There were a lot of great experiences packed into my training! This school makes me want to continue my education. The greatest thing I can say about this school is they made me believe in myself. They want to see you succeed.

Please do NOT choose this school!! This school is SHADY, SHADY, and SHADY!! I can tell you multiple reasons why you should AVOID this school based on my(our) experience.1.The administrator seems nice at the beginning. But she is nice ONLY while she is recruiting you or until you pay class fee. Once you have paid class fee, she flips her behavior. She is very aggressive, rude and uncivil. It is NOT able to have a conversation with her with normal tone. You cannot even go to her office to ask her/school some help or advice. She just kicks you out from her office.2.All good reviews on google are NOT legit. The administer calls and emails lots of students and beg them to write good reviews.3.This is school is obviously lack of instructors so you may need to do self-study a lot. When the administer/school cannot find an instructor, she cancels a class at the last minute, sometime one hour before a class starts or we are sitting in the classroom hours and hours, and just reading textbooks and working on a workbook without an instructor. This happens over and over, and it takes TOO long to completed a whole program. She never apologized to us instead of saying it is so hard to find instructors because of weekends. The duration of the time you complete a program may need almost double than you are promised or you may never finished a program.4. This is funny. The administer has almost never responded to students emails even though she tells us to email her if we need to reach her out. Again, we, students, are NOT allowed to talk to her in person, at her office. She rises her voice to students!!Overall, I(we) have so many unpleasant experience with this school/the administer, and I feel like wasted money and time. Unfortunately, the administer manages the school and has power over students and other instructors who are good. But NOBODY can do anything with her outrageous actions. Some students just have left the school because of her. PLEASE DO NOT SIGH UP for THIS SCHOOL!!

The online class turned out to be a great success. I was skeptic in the beginning but after the first online class, I realized how much information I retained and how participative everyone in my class were. Our instructors put a lot of effort in creating a learning environment which we are not all familiar with. I would like to make special mention of Ms Vicky who gave concise and clear presentation of the most important aspects for the topic and provided us home assignment to help us better focus our learning time. Towards the end of her presentation she allowed us time to clarify areas where we needed guidance. Everyone participated and were enthusiastic. Most of us are reviewing for the NCLEX at our own time. For those who are currently staying home, this is a particularly good time to catch us on the reading. I am still working my usual Monday to Friday job but I try to set aside at least 2 hrs each day during the week to study NCLEX questions. The online class has effectively satisfied the schools objective of having us continue on our course despite the current situation.Thank you very much. And as I said, kudos to Ms Vicky. Update: Credit is given where credit is earned. Long story short, I ended up having to switch from weekdays to weekends and what a difference. My instructor was not only super nice but extremely knowledgeable and it was the only instructor that we had until the end of the program. Mrs. J made class fun and has the personality that keeps you engaged and focused. Best of all asking a lot of questions wasnt really necessary because she was always ahead of the questions. She didnt only read the PowerPoint and book but also explained everything with great examples. Then Covid happened...... I was honestly very disappointed and thought that things would be pushed back even more but fortunately it didnt. I was absolutely shocked that the school was able to transition so well and fast to online lectures. (Fairfax County schools didnt transition this smoothly) I continued with the same instructors (constancy with instructor and schedules is key and this time around we got it). Not having to drive to the school and being able to complete all the work from home was a true blessing specially with the lack of child care. Testing was done at the school with masks and gloves required, 6ft distance with students having to come in one at a time. After we finished the program we were required to take a review course at a different school (in MD) I wasnt too happy about the additional fee specially during shutdown or the fact that the school was in MD but due to Covid everything was done online and I only had to drive there (long drive for me 53 minutes) for orientation and testing. I am happy to say that after everything was done I took my Hesi and passed with a good score on my first try (8/30/2020) I took some time to review everything once again and I also passed my NCLEX-PN on my first try. Administration followed very closely until I received my official license and they did provide good study tips and links to prepare. Administration also very quickly provided my transcripts as I am planning on enrolling into a bridge program LPN to RN.A very detailed description of my so far roller coaster experience will be added once Im done with the program. (If we ever finish). The things that I can add for now are; RUN THE OPPOSITE WAY!! This program is a lot longer than what I signed up for, (I signed up in 11/2017 and between the start date being pushed back, the breaks due to insufficient number of students and the cancellations due to the lack of instructors. Im hoping to finish on 9/2019), administration doesnt seem to want to respect our first amendment, NO tact when it comes to talking to students (Got to the point to where students are hesitant to ask about the schedule due to the nature of the responses). NO respect for students schedules like last minute notifications about VERY IMPORTANT changes in schedule (less than 24 hrs). We had multiple instructors at the beginning of the program for fundamentals. Instructors that had a very hard time answering many of my questions ( Ive been in the medical field for 9 years and have been working at an outpatient clinic for 6) I would ask basic questions just for clarification and was very disappointed to realize that the instructors had no idea how to answer. If I could go back in time and not sign up with this school, I would.

I dont know what all the hate is about, but my time at the Medical Learning Center has been phenomenal and absolutely fantastic! I was a student here applying for the CNA program and the quality of the learning as well as the experience you get from fantastic professors who have been there and are willing to give up their precious time to share their wisdom to you is great! I learned, and am still learning, so many good things and things that are expected of me in this field of work, and I am proud to say that I passed the State Board Exam with only one try. Why? Because I asked questions on things I didnt understand and when I had a hard time, me and some of my peers were allowed to come on over and ask for some extra time with our professor and she was willing to give us some more extra help - its the effort that counts. I do not take things for granted, and this place really helped me out when I had nowhere else to really go to, so FIVE stars to this place for helping me get my foot into the right path. THANK YOU MLC!!!

L graduated and passed on my first try with 85 questions on nclex and currently working as an LPN and making better money of course.Enrolling as a student in the LPN programme was the best decision made and MLC is the best choice with its weekend classes, flexible payment plan, conducive atmosphere for learning, a library equiped with relevent books, lecturers who make learning fun and memorable and who are ever ready to help you even after school, friendly and serious students and an administer who aims to have her students pass their NCLEX. Guess what, l am prof!

The receptionist is soo mean , she doesnt even want give time to answer questions , if you call more than one time , she will be mad at you , she thinks the thousands of dollars that you have to put in this school is without giving her more than one time call .

I got my CNA experience from Medical Learning Center in 2013 and passed my State License Exam on my first attempt in 2014. I am currently enrolled in the Medication Aide program at MLC. I like this school because they taught me everything that I know and use in my job as a CNA. My work place is happy with my performance and so are my patients. I recommend this school to all my friends, family and anyone who is interested to join the nursing programs. I would not have done it without the Medical learning Center. Thanks to MLCs Faculty and Staff.

The Medical Learning Center provided me with exactly what I needed: well-founded instruction on the field of nursing assistantship and a certificate of completion that enabled me to register for the CNA state board exam and pass both the written and skills portions with flying colors on the first attempt. Mind you, it was all done in a timely fashion. Running against deadlines for PA schools, I needed to begin securing hours of healthcare experience as soon as possible and it was an immense relief to know I could enroll in class immediately and make up for any missed material later in the session. Also, instruction was conducted wholly toward passing the boards written and skills sections... thumbs up: our instructor was a state board examiner with many tips to spare. If that werent enough, I was even recommended to the HR director of a rehab center for a job interview where I currently work as a Certified Nursing Assistant.I am left with a positive experience overall, and if youre willing to keep your eyes on the prize while disregarding a few minor kinks that may or may not appear in the course of your stay in the Medical Learning Center, then youve come to the right place.
