Terrible customer experience. Stopped in on a Saturday to check out chairs and found a floor model that I liked. We noticed there was a second floor model that was the exact same style and color. The employee helping us (great review on his service) offered to let us purchase one of the floor models. I told him I would think about it and get back if I decided to move forward. Call on Sunday (less than 24 hours) and the manager Tim informed me that the sale price was no longer available and he would not honor the price I was quoted the day before. Maybe that’s company policy but they lost a sale and a customer who will gladly purchase the product from STAPLES.

Visited this location today for some printing needs for my salon and my real estate business. I was assisted by a helpful young lady at the print center who helped me along the way with my process. She was very attentive and assisted me with navigating through the whole process so that everything I needed was handled correctly. In addition to receiving wonderful help from that particular individual whose name I cannot remember, an employee by the name of John was also very attentive, polite, and full of customer service as I shopped while waiting for my printing needs. Kudos the whole team today as their customer service and energy was beyond appreciated. My drive from Woodbridge was very much well productive as I don’t know what I would’ve done without the help of these individuals today. They really deserve a huge “Good job” and I will be returning in the future!

We went to buy a grill/barbecue at the Fairfax store. We were met by Daniel in the grill section. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. He gave us good advice and we are very pleased with the product that we bought. I thoroughly recommend that anyone, who wants to buy a grill, chats with Daniel before you make your decision to buy.

I visited this location twice in the last couple of weeks. One thing that stood out is that the female employees tend to be more reserved and lack personality, but they did their job. The male employees are friendly and helpful, and responsive when spoken to, and they acknowledged my present. The store is very quiet with a few customers. This store location didnt have 1 of the 2 things that I was looking for and purchased in the Reston store. I discovered that a location may carry products that another location doesnt. It might be best to check online before arriving. Kudos to the Office Depot that is doing a School Supply Drive. I was happy to see how full the big donation box that I contributed to.

Product: Hp ink cartridgePrices: $7 higher than Micro CenterBuyer Beware! products in-store may be higher. The cartridge costed $39.00. When I returned it unused with my Visa statement, identifying the date-of-purchase (10 days past), the Store number/location, and the cost, $39.00,Office Depot wanted to refund only $24.00 because I didn’t have the original paper receipt. I was handed an 800# that identified lower price range for products.Service: The young cashier was only following procedures on returns. It was only when I complained in disbelief about being penalized for not having the original paper receipt, did the manager(an elderly man) gave me full refund .I will never recommend or purchase anymore from Office Depot.

Very bad customer service including the mager service looks like they dont know what service they have with square trade..

BEWARE If youre using copy and print! Ive been into this office depot a 100 times over the last 25 years. I know prices raise over time, but the young lady that took my small printing job (11 color pages, a laminated card stock front and back and simple white binding) did not tell me I had a choice between her full-service job FOR $77, or that I could go another route. The people in the printing area have always been helpful, but my experience yesterday is so irritating, I had to say something! I came home with 4 tiny little books for grandchildren and it cost me $77! BOOOOOOOOOO!

One employee for the entire store! Waited 20 mins to buy an envelope!

Dont have bargain prices like Walmart. The quality of the product offered are similar. Why prices high? You would expect their focus on office supplies should be able to do better. They would like you to think you get bargain prices but you dont.

Welcoming staff. Very helpful. I asked for an item and a staff member walked with me to show me where they were.Prices were discounted in preparation for the new school year.

The staffs are friendly and helpful. But we had a little accident while we were leaving. We stuck between the double doors for a little bit after we finished shopping. It turned out that we were too close to the outside door. That door opens inward. I guess it detected you are too close to the door, so the door wont open to prevent hitting you.

Office depot is not what it used to be. When we entered the store nobody really cared. Not even looked at us.We felt invisible. I asked someone for help. Of course he needed to call someone else. After a wait we got the help we waited for. Just took too long.

If I could give 0 that will be. People that work in this store does not have PATIENCE. I had a lady with glasses she almost always in the printing area she just got crazy started screaming and left the counter top and the manager had to come and apologize. There is a guy too with gases so bad... the dont even know what is customer service. I think Office Depot should have better people in their stores, or maybe do something about this because is is discussing.

Thought I was walking into a garage sale. Or a warehouse. Was looking for desk lamps. The only office furniture they had was about 5 desk chairs in boxes. No lamps of any kind. What kind of office supply store has no office furniture?

Zero stars. I waited for 30 minutes to get some copies off the printer behind the counter.There was an Asian, Korean or Chinese guy who ignored me while he struggled to bind a Scott Joplin book.Eventually, I sought out another employee who happened to be the manager on duty.This is absolutely ridiculous and the other employees are useless too.Thankfully, the manager was able to assist me.

Helpful staff, aimed me in the right direction for what I was looking for and found something perfect that ended up being on sale.

Chris did a fantastic job at helping me find cheap/bargain ink and paper for my very first printer. :) Hes extremely knowledgeable and has a quick pace... But didnt rush me. I told the manager about it before I left. I would have preferred someone greeted me or offered to help as soon as I entered the store but everything else was fine. Well, the strong tobacco (?) odor from Chris bothered me a little...not trying to embarrass him. Almost went to Walmart but Im glad I went here instead... More expertise than I typically find at a Walmart, more attentive staff, very short wait in line, great return policy gives comfort that money wont be wasted. :)

I usually try to be understanding before writing bad reviews but I had a terrible experience at this store and would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. The staff is sarcastic and rude and even the manager unwilling to help. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Walked in to 3 ppl standing behind the counter non were busy non said good morning or can we help you yet the person behind me was offered both 15 min later a guy working here walks past me with a bag of chips and a mouth full of chips and asks if I need anything

Its clearly an older, smaller Office Depot, but that doesnt excuse the staff for being completely useless. I wanted help in their printing shop, but four employees were just standing around talking, completely ignoring me. I didnt want to give them my business after that, so I left.

Called six times for over 20 minutes and nobody answered the phone. Copy machines that charge more for color do not have quality copy colors-- the ink is faded and looks bad.

Ive never written a review for anything before. But my experience here prompted me to do so. I honestly wouldnt give this place ANY stars. Zero.I prefer Staples to Office Depot, but where I live , the nearest one is in the next town. So I go here to Office Depot out of convenience than quality. Every time I go, I always consider it a waste of my time because I often leave without what I came looking for.On Sunday December 10, I went to get some things. It took me a long time to find a particular item, laminating sheets, and there were no employees about to ask for help. I finally found one after an unnecessary amount of time.Once I got to the register the clerk proceeded to ring up my merchandise which totaled $135.00. I held out my credit card about to insert it into the maxhine when all of a sudden the clerk says the maxhine isnt working ; you can only use your card up to $35.00 I was taken aback. I had over $100 of things to buy on the counter and NOW he say a the card cant be accepted ?? He said only if I have cash. Obviously people arent just walking around wit over a 100 bucks in their wallet. I waa so angry why had he waited until AFTER ringing me up to say that why had there been no sign on the doors alerting costumers to the issue instead of making them go through the whole process only to tell them oh sorry its not working you cant get this. What a MONUMENTAL waste of tiime. And thjis kind of incompetence is one of the many reasons I hate this place. Needless to say I left without any of my items and will never be back. Not ever. I went to staples instead.

A terrible customer service today at printing!!! For a year I have been printing materials in this office depot, I was sending to their email files and they were printing, now I did the same thing, and I received an email that i need to call. I called and a rude man, he said he was a supervisor said that they will not print it and it is against the policy and that i need to go to the website and upload it there! and thats mentioned their website is always freezing and doesnt let you see what exactly you uploaded!! This is ridiculous !!! That kind of attitude for a supervisor is not acceptable!

I highly recommend that office Depot headquarters pay this store a visit. It reminded us of a dungeon.

Got what I was looking for at a good price

Terrible service. Some of the most rude employees. “Brad” barely looked up to address us and was offhand and patronizing for no reason.

This place always looks like its going out of business. Poorly taken care of building stuff everywhere, carts not returned and just sitting in front of the entry ways.

A bit sparse and not as much diversity of products as other Office Depots in the area, but generally serves most supply needs.

The store just doesnt flow well.
