After many occurrences of poor communication and well being taken advantage of, I finally decided that it was time to right an honest review that future parents can have a certain expectation before enrolling their child. While the teacher has been great and my child enjoyed the class, the review is directly towards the mgmt team- not the teachers.1. You are supposed to prepay for a photo package BEFORE you even see the final product of the recital photoshoot. The package was changed after a few days after mgmt realized they made a mistake with prices..2. Mgmt directs you to buy unnecessary items for the photoshoot - such as saying the lipstick is mandatory so of course every parents buys it to find out its not mandatory since the kids need to then purchase a mask for the recital.3. During the photoshoot - no instructions or poses were taught to the young kids in advance. The kids and parents didnt know what to do and the child had to learn from the photographer on the spot how to do a pose. My child was a little nervous and her big smile went to a forced smile after being corrected by the photographer multiple times to get the correct pose.4. Apparently you will only receive one photo and you need to choose what photo you want from the tiny camera screen from the photographers camera. It was not communicated in advance you will receive only one photo and will not have the opportunity to make the selection. Either the photographer makes the selection or you make the selection off his camera coming into unsafe covid distance. The pictures come about 2 months after they are taken.5. You cannot film during recital. Mgmt forces you to buy a video package for $50+. The recital was the first week of June and its been almost 3 months and still did not receive the video. After multiple emails through the summer they still are saying that they have not received the video from the vendor and will notify us when they come..Do not count on sharing the video with loved ones during the summer or right after the recital. Now my child is no longer excited since its been so long since she has taken the class.6. When concerns brought up to mgmt (the owner does not even bother contacting you back at all and just sends the office manager to speak to you). Regardless the staff blamed it on the vendor. I explained that since they hire these vendors it reflects poorly on them and they have the opportunity and power to negotiate with the vendor and correct the vendors mistakes, unfortunately they do not take it seriously and I guess are ok with over charging and blaming it on the vendors- after all I guess we do live in Fairfield and its ok to overcharge and not care.

My daughter is in her fourth year at Flash Pointe Dance. The talented teachers continually help my daughter to reach her fullest potential by coaching her in a positive and loving atmosphere. Her love of dance has exploded in the last few years as she has developed poise, discipline, personal fulfillment, camaraderie with peers and an appreciation of dance as an art form. Per my daughter, The teachers at Flash Pointe Dance are welcoming and make class fun. The teachers and staff will truly go out of their way to help you or your child. Flash Pointe Dance has a friendly, fun and professional environment that my family and I love!

I love Flash Pointe Dance! The teachers and dancers there are so nice, and I love all of the classes I take. Everyone is very kind and helpful. Dancing at Flash Pointe has made me a better, stronger dancer!

My children have been dancing at Flash Pointe Dance for 6 years. The studio provides top quality instruction by fantastic teachers who are dancers themselves, often still performing when not teaching. The teachers are kind & encouraging while making sure that they are providing great technique classes. I cant say enough good things about Flash Pointe Dance! It is like a second home to my kids & I highly recommend the studio.

Amazing teachers and staff. My daughter has been on the competition team for 4 years now. She considers this school her second family and couldnt love it anymore. The kids are always dancing even when they arent in class. The parents are pretty awesome too.

I love this studio. My daughter has been a Flash Pointe dancer since 2012 and considers it her second home -- which is largely because the staff members are both skilled and nurturing (they have been truly wonderful, from day one, welcoming us into their Flash Pointe family). The studios owner, Vickie Carey, shares my values for kindness, acceptance, hard work and integrity. Her values are visible in the way she talks to the students, supports them as dancers and encourages them as individuals.

My daughter has had a wonderful experience at Flash Pointe Dance. Instructors are loving and passionate. The facility is state of the art and second to none. We are excited to begin our 5th year of dance with Flash Pointe in September!

My 7 year old loves Flash Pointe Dance! She is a bit timid or shy, and was very hesitant about trying dance at a new studio. The staff welcomed us both immediately, and made us feel at home. My little girl is now spreading her wings and trying hip-hop, which she loves!! We have nothing but great things to say about the instructors, staff and the new facility.

All 3 of my children have attended classes at Flash Pointe. They always come away with a positive feeling about the instructors, the dancing, and most importantly, about themselves. My 13 year old has been dancing with Flash Pointe for 8 years and considers the dancers and staff to be family. Its a very special place.

My children have been dancing at the studio since 2011. I have both recreational and competitive dancers, male and female. I have so many good things to say about the studio. My children have grown so much, not only in technique and artistry, but as human beings. The studio has given them opportunities, to be a part of a community, to take part in charitable events, to teach and become role models. They have learnt the benefits of a strong work ethic, time management, and seen much success after having set goals and reaching them. The teachers truly care about the kids and go above and beyond, teaching them, supporting them and helping them not only when things are going well, but teaching them how to resolve conflicts and cope with disappointment too. The staff behind the desk at FPD really care about our kids and always keep an extra eye on them. My children have danced from their toddler years to their teenage years and they couldnt be happier at FPD. It truly is a family.

Shame on Flash Pointe--after 6 weeks of calling and writing to receive a refund for overcharging us- I had to get my credit card company involved. Thank gd for MasterCard to protect families from predatory business practices like this one.
