We love the discipline, community and teaching at WCT. It’s a very clean, professional but warm and inviting atmosphere. We’ve been going for about two years now and my son never complains about going - he loves it!

Enrolling my children at WCT Fairfield, has been one of the best decisions ever. The masters are incredible teachers; they use a perfect balance between discipline and play, pushing you over your comfort zone, and making you feel strong and secure. Miss Jennifer is always helping parents with any question, and all of them take care of the students not just for the taekwondo itself, but for their general upbringing and personal growth.They are so great, that I ended up enrolling myself! Their classes for adults are also perfect.Worth every penny, highly highly recommend them!

Amazing place! The staff are friendly and kind to the students and create a warm and inviting community. The instructors do a fantastic job with the students- the students perform at peak levels, yet remain very grounded. Discipline and respect are core values and easy to see among the students and instructors. During Covid, they have kept the students very safe with deep cleaning routines, specific spaces marked by squares so that students stay in their own space, hand washing routines, masks and face shields- they have gone above and beyond to keep the students safe! They deserve more than 5 stars!

Master KJ and Master Gunsoo are super dedicated and passionate in teaching Taekwondo to their students. They encourage respect, loyalty, precision, persistence, inclusiveness and teamwork through their rigorous but fun training sessions. They have coached and built a great pool of talented students, junior instructors and young masters that have won numerous medals in various national and international events. World Champion Taekwondo is a great school that offers ample learning and competition experience to students who are interested in getting better in Taekwondo.

I am very happy that they focus not only on the physical education of my son, but also his overall well being. They try to emphasize good manners and good habits. Their physical education is also very rigorous, and the teachers are true masters in their art. Very happy with WCT.

My family loves WCT! My young kids were made to feel welcome from their very first class and look forward to it each week. Master KJ and his instructors excel at not only developing young athletes, but respectful ones as well. They have also done an excellent job at adopting safety measures for Covid. Im so glad we found them!

WCT is an amazing school, that teaches kids TaeKwonDo, but also respect and compassion through a mixture of both serious and fun activities. I am especially pleased with the care/caution they have shown during the COVID-19 pandemic - including helping kids get over worries about wearing masks early in the pandemic, and also cleaning and communicating regularly with families about any changes in lessons. All around a wonderful community to be a part of.

It is the BEST Taekwando school around. Master KJ and Master Gunsoo bring out the best from their students. Masters are highly professional and high achievers. Great environment for adults and kids to learn Taekwando and excel in State, National and International competitions. My son is attending this school and we are super happy about the training, support and help with his overall growth in terms of perseverance, honesty,discipline, confidence.

I am currently not a student at this place right now, but soon, i am looking forward to return ASAP.i’ve done Taekwondo at this school for about a year.i had to stop at a brown belt awhile back due to school reasons.but this place is amazing. The master and the instructors, as well with all the students are amazing.This school teaches very well and professionally.I believe, out of all Taekwondo schools i’ve been to, this place has been the best one.

I am an adult who started at World Champion TKD with my children. My son and I received our 1st Dan (black belts) together. Since then my children have stopped going to TKD and are both in college and I am still attending classes twice a week. Its been 19 years in March. Each class is different, I am so intent on concentrating on my kick, punch or stance that I dont even think about the fact that I am working out. The other adults in the class are kind. Everyone is treated with respect and when I am in class with the teens (usually only on Saturday mornings) they are also respectful. Master KJ and Master Gunsoo are great at explaining things and are very patient. I would highly recommend this school for adults and children.

My daughter started WCT in 2nd grade when they ran an after school program at her school and she loved it! She started taking classes in the studio soon after and has been there for almost three years-she will soon test for her black belt. The masters are wonderful; a great mix of teaching respect, training, and fun! They offer a variety of classes for each level and always run fun camps throughout the year during school vacation days. It has been such a positive experience-especially during Covid when WCT has been so flexible and accommodating. I highly recommend starting TKD here!

Our son has been taking Taekwondo with Masters KJ and Gunsoo for almost 1.5 years and we couldn’t be happier! Not only are they great teachers of the art, but their methods for engaging the kids are spot on. They also do an amazing job at grooming the kids into respectful, kind, responsible, encouraging and disciplined students - both in the ways of Taekwondo as well as outside of the studio as representatives of the sport in their daily lives - they are a class act and would recommend to anyone interested in Taekwondo!

WCT Fairfield is a phenomenal Taekwondo studio. Our daughter has been training with Master KJ and Master Gunsoo for 9 years now. She is able to compete on a national level and benefited not only physically but also mentally and emotionally. Our daughter Kendall has been studying taekwondo at World Champion TaekwonDo Fairfield for the past 10 years. She is currently preparing to test for her third degree black belt! We couldn’t be more pleased with the experience, skills, discipline and values that she has been taught by Master KJ and his staff. Taekwondo has been incredibly empowering for my daughter, who started at age 9 and is now a 3rd degree black belt heading off to engineering school at a top university. One thing I love is that the girls compete on an even playing field with the boys. I think that strengthens a young woman’s confidence and is crucial for her future career mindset to hold her own in a male-dominated workplace. The program at WCT Fairfield is top-notch. I highly recommend it.

My twins girls started the after school program at Mill Hill in the Fall. They both loved it, but I loved it even more ! Not only Master KJ is such the most amazing & fun teacher in his category, but also the philosophy of this sport is amazing. My 2 kindergarteners are seriously into it : they listen better, they help me much more with chores in the house, they ask to do more gym and eat veggies/fruits, they understand better what respect and confidence means ... and they love having new challenges!!They keep telling me that “Taekwondo needs to stay at Taekwondo” but you can tell they love it so much that they keep talking about it or they try to practice at home all the time !!I highly recommend to anyone to try it because I never thought my two “sweet little princess pink girls” would like it ...

The best Taekwondo school ever! I have been doing Taekwondo in this school for about 4 years, and they taught me not only about Taekwondo, but also about courtesy and perseverance, which really helped me to work harder towards my goals. Master KJ and all the instructors are all great teachers who will really help you to achieve your goal(s) in Taekwondo. I really recommend that if you are looking for a place where you would like to start learning Taekwondo, this will be my top choice.

My son had attending World Champion Taekwondo for 1.5 years since age 5. He loved it so much!! Master KJ and the whole staff are incredibly friendly. They make the learning fun and exciting but also encourage the advancement through tournaments. We then had to say goodbye due to relocation out of the state. I just couldnt find one that is as good as WCT Fairfield in terms of facility, staff friendliness, instructor credential, and active participation in competition/tournament.

We couldnt have been happier for choosing WCT Fairfield for our 4 yo son. Master Shawn and Master Gunsoo dont just teach Taekwondo to the students, theyre role models who teach the kids important life lessons. The Masters taught my son to have a voice in a patient and caring way. He has learned the importance of hard work and focus while building physical strength and flexibility in just a matter of 6 months. He loves and respects his Masters. Also, Master KJs dedication to his community shows through in the way the school operates with outstanding programs, camps and free events.

My 5 year old son and 7 year old daughter have been at WCT Fairfield for over a year and are currently brown belts. Master KJ and the instructors are all amazing. They truly care about the kids and their success not only with Taekwondo but in school, at home, and in life. Master KJ and WCT have boosted both my children’s level of confidence in everything they do. They have learned discipline and dedication as well as how to respect themselves and others. Jennifer in the office is wonderful. She is super friendly and on top of everything, always looking out for the kids and keeping them focused, and great at communicating information about special events, camps, schedule changes, etc.We have tried various other TKD and Martial Arts studios in the area and WCT of Fairfield is by far the best and in a league of their own.Keep up the great job Master KJ and team!

Our son Mattias has been attending WCT Fairfield for over three years and loves every minute of it. Mattias has earned his first degree black belt in this time and has learned so much about self discipline, respect and challenging yourself to be the best you can be. Wct os Fairfield is a very professional, safe and also a family environment .The Master and it’s staff take you to a very fan Taekondo Martial arts Journey..They teach and help you reach your goals .I’m adult and I’ve being taking classes for about 2 years and I improved my health and mind .its a great experience probably like any martial arts but taekwondo and it’s dinamics can take you to a great Self experience . You can get to know you body and physical potencial and limits better as you can take as a sport , self defense or get in fitness.Great place
