James taking swimming lessons at this awesome school! Only 3 in his class. I see his fear gradually disappear as he is gently urged to do things in the water. He loves it! It helps that it is a class of boys. Teachers are awesome and patient. I love it there. Very clean and pleasant.

We LOVE Goldfish! All of my kids take lessons here and every week I see improvements. They are a little pricey but you also get what you pay for. My twins have been taking lessons a little over a month now and we see INCREDIBLE improvements and growth in just over a month. My oldest has been going 3 years and she has become such a strong swimmer. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to get their children enrolled in swim lessons. You wont regret it!

Classes are very fun for my 17 month old, and she has really improved already in her skills and water tolerance. I can already see how these skills will build on each other so that she can eventually learn to swim, but I also really am thankful for the safety aspect of teaching them the basics of floating, reaching for edge of pool etc.

My twins have developmental delays although we felt strongly that they should have the chance to learn how to swim just like other kids. Unfortunately, I have had a terrible experience and do not recommend if your kids have delays. The manager called me stating “we can’t use up all of our staff” to accommodate my kids with delays. It’s a business transaction and they have no heart to help ALL kids learn how to swim. Will never be back. I would give them a 0.

We had a wonderful experience at Goldfish Swim School. Ethans confidence level in the pool has excelled. He would still be there if we were still babysitting him, but his mother is a teacher and is off for the summer and will be entering kindergarten this September.„

Goldfish has been wonderful for my son. He is learning very quickly and becoming very comfortable in the water. I would highly recommend Goldshish to anyone looking to get the little one into swimming lessons.

We’ve been coming for just a few months now. My kids really seem to love it. Everyone is very sweet. HOWEVER! I’ve been looking into ISR (infant swim rescue) classes and realized babies don’t really learn to swim for a few years, even with lessons. 86% of drowning happens fully clothed. We’ve been made to think these lessons could prevent a drowning but I really don’t think so. At most they feel inadequate. For the price I would rather my child learn ISR in 6 weeks and even though those classes are $100/week it would still be cheaper then goldfish.Also really super disappointed about them changing the mask mandate because a few anti maskers. I don’t think it was a good idea since the kids going here don’t even qualify for a vaccine, putting all at risk for the comfort of some. We’ve avoided the virus this far and I’m not willing to put my kids at extra risk. This added with my knowledge of ISR & drowning studies, class ratios going 4:1 makes withdrawal an easier choice.

I love this place! The instructors are so friendly.

This swim schools system has been great for my boys, they are learning quickly and the trainers are keeping them focused and engaged. The building is clean and their system is efficient with time. As of the day I am posting here you will need to wear a mask. They have fitting rooms, a coat hanging area, and cubbies for footwear. At the rate that my boys are learning I would not be surprised if they could truely swim, which would be just what Im hoping for. It may cost a bit more than the rec center but its well worth it.

The school has been great for helping my son learn to swim; but more than that is building his confidence and comfort with the water. He used to hate getting his face wet in any way and now he can’t wait to go under water at practice. The teachers energy and positive praise keep my son engaged and excited to be swimming!

The emphasis on safety in the water is really important to me. My daughter’s confidence to swim has soared. She has fun during the class and has enjoyed learning from the instructors. Allowing for makeups has helped ensure my daughter is able to continue swimming even when our schedule is super crazy. I would highly recommend Goldfish to any parent or caregiver!

I asked about swim lessons in a mom group on Facebook. Goldfish came highly recommended so i decided to give it a try for a trial lessons. Despite all the rave reviews, it wasn’t for us. First and foremost it is very very very chaotic. The environment can be an anxiety trigger if you have a child who is nervous about lessons to begin with. Also, I walked in and was lost, it was my first time and I didn’t know what to do. Every single young girl at the desk looked directly at us and didn’t say a word. I was hoping it would be welcoming as some other reviews mentioned but that was far from the case. First impression was really blown. The instructor was also a very young girl and she seemed overwhelmed. You could tell she was trying to compose herself but was not doing a very good job at it and I’m positive that the kids felt that energy. Two good things I’ll say is the decor is very cute! And the young lady who gave the “report” at the end was very sweet and professional.

Swim coaches who are passionate about their work and make learning to swim fun for kids. Structured learning process and instructions, with progress cards that are easy to understand and motivate. Friendly staff. A year round place you look forward to take your kid to and your child is very excited to be there. All in all, a place that puts a smile on your face and meets your goals - Learn to swim.

Mommy and me and independent, small group lessons. Easy to schedule. My son loves it and has learned so much in 2 years of lessons. Great for teaching water safety and competitive swim.

Our family absolutely loves goldfish swim school. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We love coming for family swim. You can not beat the price as a fairly large family of 6. Very helpful that they cap off the price at $15. Everything is so clean! The pool itself is always a very nice temperature. All of the pool toys they provide are super cute and fun for little ones. Love that they provide life jackets and that there is a bathroom in the actual pool area. Makes it so much easier when you have more than one little one to keep track of yourself. The showers are nice, great that they provide baby wash for you. The seating area outside of the pool is ample. Just wish there was maybe another bench or 2 inside the pool area itself. Sometimes if its busy there is no where to sit or set your towels. The changing areas are very nice and spacious. All the restrooms are huge. The bathing suit dryer is awesome. Does a great job. So nice that they provide hair dryers. A must for cold Ohio days. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Very much need to give this place a try.

Amazing experience to watch our 5 yr old get confidence with swimming. We continue to do another month because of seeing her progress. Wanting to put our 3 yr old in it know. They give you a ribbon for each new swim step, they have a line of showers for kids to get into in their suits. Changing rooms, blow dryers. Nice, clean, and organized!

The reason I change my review is that Owner of the school actively work with me to solve all my concerns.I had very some not happy experience with Gold Fish two times, here are the tricks I hope parents to be aware of:1. They will set you in a very low level, and keep you in the lower levels and not try to move your kid to the next level. My daughter has been learning one skill for 4 weeks but all other skills are perfect, but they just keep her there not moving her to next level or not helping her overcome the last skill for 4 weeks.2. It is a 30 minutes class, but they never started on time. Our class is 4pm, but they always open pool door 5 minutes later, and have parents pick kids at 4:25, so it is a shorter class.3. The refund policy is a disaster. They took my credit card information and charged me automatically, and we can only be withdrawn for next month with an application. For example, when we started class 10/03, we can only ask for withdraw next month which means they need to charge whole month of October and November.However, things would happen, kids are afraid of water, kids cannot adapt to the guidance, family has vacation plan, then we have no choices just waste for two month tuition.4. Supervisor and manager are very hard to deal with. I try to work with them several times and tey to be patient for 4 weeks, but they are just not helpful, they are consider their business practice and policy much more than your kids need and your kids advancement.

Love this place! The instructors are calm and patient, always make my daughter feel safe and comfortable in their care. The environment is inviting and child centered! They really thought of everything a parent would need to make visiting Goldfish a smooth, easy experience. Definitely better than the local rec centers lessons!

I like the attention to detail and organized manner in which the school operates. The instructor to student ratio ensures each student receives the proper time and focus on improvement. The performance feedback at the end of each session helps me better prepare my child for the next session. Love the positive reenforcement and reward recognition for a job well done...keep up the great work!

Friendly staff! Consistent process. I love that it’s kid friendly and that they focus on the singular process of swimming lessons. They’re not like most business that focus on multiple items and offer swimming lessons on the side. They have it down at Goldfish.

Beyond happy with our experience! Every teacher has been so happy, friendly, and knowledgeable of swimming. Each night I see people walk around sanitizing everything, literally everything! Very happy we moved to Goldfish!!!

Goldfish is the best swim school around! I have four children and have tried many other facilities and nothing compares! As soon as you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff. The facility is very clean and comfortable. Pool is warm and staffed very well with lifeguards in addition to the instructors. Classes are small and run very efficient. My children have learned more at goldfish just in the few months we have been going compared to years at other places. I like that my children were able to move up to the next class when they were ready instead of having to be in a class for a certain amount of time. (Like most places) thank you to the Fairview goldfish team for everything you do!!!

The classes are just the right length to keep my daughters attention and the teachers are very patient and kind with the kids.

We love Goldfish! Out son is 22months and has learned so much in the past 2 months. The instructors are always the same which is great for building trust. There are lesson plans for each clasd which i love. Classes are well organized and run. Water safety the focus and that is very important to us. We highly recommend Goldfish!!

My kids attend class once a week when Cleveland is not in winter. I am amazed how far they have come, how well they can swim, their confidence in the water. My kids rarely go to a pool outside of class and they have learned a lot from their awesome instructors.

We love Goldfish. The classes are fun and quick moving for my young distracted toddler. Through the weeks the exercises have made her more and more relaxed in the pool. We always have a good time.

Our 3 yr old had taken 18 weeks of swim class elsewhere, and actually ended up terrified of the water. We decided to try Goldfish Swim School and love it!! After 1 class, he went from screaming and crying, to loving the pool and asking when he gets to go back! Thank you to the entire staff, especially Thomas, for making him feel safe and comfortable!

Angel, Mishas teacher is really great. She has been very patient with her, helping building her confidence over time. Last week, she finally swam independently underwater and that was awesome for a parent to see.

We love the small class sizes, which allow for more personal attention and development. The facilities are a great big plus too. Lots of amenities and the decor is fun and inviting.
