A wonderful birthday party experience for our 12 year old. Polvo is a seasoned educator and facilitatorand it shows! 10 kids enjoyed 60 minutes of Nerf games and 30 minutes of free play while adults had plenty of room to socialize in the foyer before pizza and cake. Our first post-covid birthday was a day to remember thanks to Amp Academy. Highly recommended!

I cannot say enough good things about this place. My son has been taking classes here for almost a year and continues to enjoy it. Josh and the whole team are great! Ive seen them work with all age groups, skill levels, and personalities and their ability to connect with and encourage each person is something that is truly appreciated.

Kids had a great time, instructors were great and made them feel comfortable and confident.

My daughter has loved Capoeira from the day she was first introduced to it. Josh has been a great instructor and we have appreciated having a unique way to connect to others in the community while learning a new skill that incorporates music, language, culture and a martial art.

We joined AMP in 2016 and couldn’t be happier. Both my sons love their classes (parkour and stunt). The instructors are fantastic, the classes are fun, the atmosphere is very welcoming and inclusive. These kids don’t just learn cool new moves, they also learn to look out for and help each other. I would recommend AMP Academy to everyone!

Awesome place to learn parkour! My kids had an awesome time during an open house, and we will be definitely taking advantage of their open gym days to get in shape. Our 10-year old son LOVED his ninja warrior themed birthday party. Polvo was great with the kids and everyone was able to participate regardless of athleticism. The facility itself is large and colorful with a great range of equipment. As parents, everything was taken care of, we only brought the cake, drinks, and cutlery. It was a lot of fun to watch the kids try different activities. Definitely worth the trip from Providence.

Both of my kids are going to amp academy. My son takes parkour classes and my daughter is attending mini ninjas. The level of classes is very high, I would recommend it to people who want there kids to receive skills which can help them in everyday life. It’s a place where you are training, not playing, so you need to read all rules because they are important to avoid injuries. All coaches are very attentive to kids and the atmosphere during classes is always positive.

I was searching for a place where I could learn specific skills to add to my toolkit of movement and fitness. As a dancer, martial artist, and athlete, it is imperative to have a place to train that gives you the freedom to do more than the basics like lifting and running. I found that place in AMP.AMP Academy has classes for the well rounded, the new, AND the extreme athlete. It is a playground for bodies of all ages where you can train at your own pace without feeling overshadowed by more advanced members. At AMP Academy, it feels like everyone wants to see you succeed. My boys love it!An ATTITUDE FREE, super cool place to get in shape. Always adding and mixing it up with a wide variety of ninja warrior obstacles. It is well organized, professional and loaded with a ton of experienced adult guidance. I have seen all ages, from smaller children to adult men and women. All of which are at different levels of fitness. My boys leave not only, exhausted but with a solid good sportsmanship attitude.Thank for being part of this community!

Fun, energetic environment that fosters learning as well as respect for others

Our entire family is loving AMP. Were here 4 times a week now with all 5 of us in classes and coming to open gym. Joshua is great with my kids, one of whom has a sensory processing disorder and anxiety. He is patient but firm and helps her focus and keep trying even when she panics that shell never get it. I would recommend AMP to anyone, adult or child, who wants to build useful muscle in a fun way and learn awesome new skills.

Amazing parkour, ninja and capoeria academy in Fall River! Truly a hidden gem in this town.Came here for a few open sessions and the facility was clean, safe and awesome!Great for kids and adults who like a different workout.

I cant say enough good things about AMP Academy. My kids have been going to AMPs Ninja Kids class for the past two years, and although theyve since moved on to other interests (as many kids do), theyve become better kids as a result. What Ive noticed which is most important: EVERY kid is welcome regardless of their athletic ability, and every kid receives an equal amount of attention. There are no favorites here... Josh (the owner) and his instructors spend time helping every student use their own strengths to conquer each obstacle, and they also ensure that everyone in the class stays focused. No kid leaves this class feeling like they were left out.Class sizes are reasonable (usually around 10-12 students, less in the summer), and they set up new obstacles frequently so theres very little repetition. My review is based only on AMPs Ninja Kids class, but theyve got an assortment of other classes as well; Parkour, Capoeira, etc. The first class is always free... even if it wasnt, AMP Academy would still be worth checking out.

Our son has been training since they opened, and were treated like family here. Josh is amazing, caring, and very cool. Hes a very competent teacher, and I trust him with our sons safety 100%. AMP is THE best place to learn the art of parkour, and to train for ninja warrior. We love AMP Academy!

By far the best thing you will experience. Personally I have lost weight and gained a ton of muscle through these ninja classes. Its an awesome community and Polvo is a great coach/teacher. Definitely 100% recommend it for kids AND adults. First class is also free!! :)

I must say that having been an accomplished social and competitive dance instructor for over 18 years I was excited to be a newcomer student in something. But as an almost 40yr old who has always been active but never athletic, I was a little nervous......right up until I met the staff and students at AMP. Given my schedule at the moment, I am currently only attending 1 class per week. But every week I make progress and accomplish things I couldnt do the week prior. There is a strong amount of support, guidance, and celebration from the entire AMP family. Josh makes sure that we are challenged to our personal limits and supports our growth towards our individual goals and achievements. There are no cliques at AMP. The really skilled students are happy to share tips and strategies with those like me who are just getting started. Coming from someone with no previous upper body strength and couldnt even do a pull-up prior....I must say that my wife likes the new pecs and biceps that Ive developed. Whether you are thinking of competitive ninja warrior training or just, Those obstacles look fun. Wouldnt it be nice if I had those skills? I urge you to try out AMP.

Before joining AMP my son (4yoa) was jumping from couch to couch, bed to bed and wanted to try the roof. We called AMP with the hope that we could focus Quins energy in a safe and positive way and still allow him to challenge himself. That’s exactly what we got!! Quin has learned exercises that he does daily now and gets to push his physical limits in an environment that’s safe and controlled. The teacher (Josh) does an excellent job of managing the kids and teaching discipline while allowing them to have fun and participate in different challenges/obstacles. Quin has literally shown every member of the family and his pre K class how he does a push up now and always says “Josh taught me this.” I love the confidence this has instilled in him and the safe outlet for his energy. Strongly encourage anyone with a young child, girl or boy, to look into this. My daughter, who was just born, will be enrolled to the mini ninja class as soon as she’s 4.

AMP Academy is a super awesome place! I love going there. The parkour classes are really fun and instructive, and the gym has lots of cool obstacles (with more in progress!) and it utilizes its space very well. And perhaps more importantly, the atmosphere is very open and non-judgemental, and welcoming to people of all skill levels. Josh, the owner and instructor, is really nice, but not a pushover. I have nothing bad to say about AMP, except that I dont get to go there enough!

As a fellow Parkour gym owner, I can attest that Josh is a fantastic teacher and his crew is very welcoming. My students thoroughly enjoyed training with them, and I look forward to further team-ups in the future.-Scott

Ive been coming to amp for two years now and I have definitely seen an increase to my overall health and strength. Everyone should give this place a try if they want to try ninja warrior or parkour as well as yoga and capoeira. The teachers are all awesome people and have many things to teach you. The best way I can describe this place is a giant playground for kids and adults!

AMP is the definition of Judgement Free Zone. The instructors are all wonderful people that do nothing but encourage you to push your limits and compliment you every step of the way. I have been going for a few months and dont think I have ever had so much fun getting back into shape. Both the Parkour and Ninja Warrior classes are designed for both beginners and veterans of the trades alike, allowing a crazy variety of skill levels working together and learning from each other. Even the recently started Capoeira classes work for both beginners and veterans, so anyone can step into the class, have a blast, and get a great work out to boot.I greatly recommend taking a class here if you have not already.
