I recently attended Coastal Career Academy in Fall River, MA. I attended the February - April evening classes. It’s a great school. They helped me accomplish a huge step in my life, a first step to a much brighter more promising future. I signed up for the Nursing Assistant program. It’s a 100 hour program, in which they provide everything necessary to get you ready for your state test. Signing up was easy. It’s a decently priced school. And one of the few in which are still open during this pandemic. Debbie owns and runs the school. She can be a bit scarce and hard to get a hold of but she’s honestly got so much going on with all the programs her school provides and getting them together for both attending and up coming students. My CNA instructor was very professional, great with communication and very thorough with teaching. She is willing to go the extra mile to help you with anything you need to learn or practice. She made sure myself and my class were well prepared for our state test. Coastal Career Academy provides you with both morning and evening classes which is great for anyone who needs a flexible schedule for attending Coastal Career Academy.With the variety of courses they offer you honestly can’t go wrong. I recently passed my state test on both my Clinical and Knowledge test. I couldn’t be more happier and I plan on coming back for a few more things like CPR and EKG.If you want to better your future, not spend your entire life savings and have a team that cares about you getting to the next step in life...choose Coastal Careers !!

I love being in this field(phlebotomist). I couldnt have done it by myself. You all help me and each other. A awesome experience that everyone should have. Litterly the best school ever ....very very understanding and caring!! They are litterly down to earth & they are also stern n fast ...but if you speak up they are very witty teachers they reminded me of Harry Potter perfessor from the movie Harry Potter and will be litterly magically infront of you with in seconds in a heartbeat if you need help and they are not busy teaching the whole class...They understood me thru good times and hard time and helped me & my family so much & small community I come from just me graduating and accomplishing something positive and successful for myself, family and community!!Yesterday this is what I expressed on my Facebook just finding out I passed my c.n.a. state test!!...FINALLY!! 💜🎆🎉🎊🤠💌🥳😁 IM SO HAAAPPPPPY!! I am officially graduating as a Medical Assistant in a couple of weeks ! I couldn’t be more proud of myself! My mother and grandmother both worked in the medical field as a RN and LPN. It is a lot of pressure following into those footsteps but Coastal Career Academy made my dreams and goals a reality in becoming a medical assistant . & I am so thankful for that. I can confidently go in to the medical field with the skills I now obtain. The Teachers are AMAZING! The training is spot on. Overall my school is great , and I am very fortunate to be a student from this program!

I had an awesome experience at Coastal Career Academy. The teachers were great they went out of there way to help us succeed and make us feel confident in our field.Marie and Deb were very helpful in answering all my question and helped me get a job I wanted..

Deb the director is amazing. I almost didnt get to finish the medical assistant program. Deb worked with me, even around my hectic schedule to make sure I passed. The classes are a great size and being able to do medical term and anatomy at your own pace is helpful. I also enjoyed having extra lab time for phlebotomy.

I graduated from Coastal Career Academy in August and have just completed my internship.I felt prepared and confident entering my internship,I am so pleased that I decided to take the Cardio Phelbotomy coarse at Coastal.My teachers were Great and very patient with me! Being a older student it was so helpful and reassuring!Thanks so much everyone.

I recently took the CNA class back in November & got my license in January.I had a good experience at the school & im still in contact with them .I work at Somerset Ridge love my job and I thank Deb & Heidi for being there and being patience with me to help me learn my skills. Would I recommend this school ? Absolutely ..It’s a good course to take and the availability of the classes is perfect .Please , don’t let one bad experience you read keep you away from Coastal Career Academy, come by and visit you might be surprised 😁😁

Worst school ever, no desk staff, no proper communication, no teachers, I called them twice and left them message no one got back to me, not recommanded

Loved my teacher not the school. they are very unprofessional. the books give you wrong information. not enough lab time and they give you the runaround when you need something. i know many people who have struggled and have been have issues with this school and they could care less.

The school is very unprofessional and the director will rip you off. Although my teacher was kind and put a lot of effort into preparing us for our CNA state test, she was not trained or prepared to teach us because the director (Debbie) hired her on the day classes started and didn’t give her the proper material to teach us with. Who has students pay a down payment for a class that may or may not have a teacher? Many payments made by the students were lost and misplaced and the director tried making it seem like people owed more than what they actually did. She just cares about the money. The secretary even agreed that the director will rip you off. Our class complained about not feeling prepared for the state test to Debbie. She demanded a mandatory skills class for two days, only did it for one and said “we’ll be fine”. People who shouldn’t have failed, failed. I would recommend to anyone that they should go to a different school!!

Coastal Career is a wonderful place to begin your medical career. Variety of classes to choose from. The Director goes above and beyond to accomadate students so they can reach their goals. The Instructors are available .If you need extra help. I give CCA 5 stars for its value and their sincere desire to help students succeed.

Great school to attend for a start in the nursing field. Positive vibes and great instructors who are amazing at working around your daily life schedule!

Great school , learned a lot in my time being there and landed an awesome job afterwards at the same place where I had my externship . Couldnt have picked a better place to gain the knowledge that I needed to start a new career for me and my family.
