I currently ride with Sonya 3 times a week, and she is by far the best trainer I’ve ever had. she gives great lessons that really help you and your horse learn. Uses useful drills that help you focus on your position and where your horse should be. Lots of opportunities to barrel race as well! I recently sent my very green gelding to her for 30 days and I couldn’t believe the amount of progress she had with him. She had him picking up the right leads, doing rollbacks, collecting and flexing, getting into frame, loping the pole pattern, and more! Highly recommend for lessons and training as she really cares about your goals as an equestrian. Prices are great and she’s flexible on times for lessons as well.

I have been training with SR Performance Horses for almost three years now and it has been nothing but amazing! She has opened so many opportunities for me that I would have never been able to do without her! She is a great person to be around and if you have a question she will happily answer it in depth. Even if you don’t have your own horse she has a variety of lesson horses you can use! She lets you know when barrels races are and even rodeos! She can teach you and your horse, or one of hers, so many things such as, barrels, poles, gymkhana patterns, roping, goat tying, etc!!! She can even work one on one with you and your horse! She has been working with me and my mare since September of 2018 when I bought her and has done an amazing job with teaching me new things to teach my mare. I highly highly highly recommend SR Performance Horses!!!

Sonya is an amazing instructor and trainer. I have never felt more confident while riding. She listens to what I want to achevieve and helps me get there! She has trained my horse and I couldnt believe what was accomplished in 30 days! She is an all around trainer who really cares about horse and rider. I went from just learning to lope to going to competitions and building up to barrel racing and even roping and some jumping! I never thought id be able to accomplish these goals but she has been honest and encouraging every step of the way.

Best place for lessons but also training, Sonya is fantastic with horses and will train them like no one else
