I had been looking for a serious Archery place to train for a while, and suddenly there was one in town! Friendly and helpful, featuring two amazing coaches for all levels of Olympic recurve Archery. They have beginner classes for kids and adults as well as an intensive program with a level 4 USA ARCHERY coach. Prices are fair and the availability is awesome. They just moved to a new incredible space and are upgrading everything. I dont fence, but the instructions are so good with kids and everyone always seems like theyre learning so much. Highly recommend!!

Very poor customer service. My partner and I drove 1 hour for a fencing class. Prior to us driving I called two weeks in advance inquiring on beginner classes and was told first timers could come in on Thursdays after 7:30 pm although their website communicates differently. When we arrived to the club we were turned away because there was no fencing class, in fact the fencing class was scheduled for an earlier time. I mentioned to the man who was facilitating the archery class that a gentleman named Greg referred us and all he could do was say the class was not being held and didn’t apologize or anything for the significant time that was wasted driving 2 hours. I will not be returning and taking my interests elsewhere.

Greg Kaidanov is a great man and great coach. Worth your time to visit if you’re in Northern VA and looking to fence!

The Nova Fencing Club is the best place to learn fencing in Northern Virginia, hands down. Coach Greg is so supportive and encouraging: my kids are really learning the sport and having fun while they do it. The priorities are safety, good sportsmanship and team spirit - whether you are a serious competitor or fence for fun. As a parent I really value that. I have been so impressed, I have joined the adult beginner class. I love it: it is super-fun, very aerobic and I am so amazed that I am actually fencing! Highly recommend!

The new space for the Fencers Club is wonderful! The staff is extremely experienced. This is a great place to start fencing and to grow into the sport. We have been involved with three different clubs - this one is far and away the best. Attention is paid to each individual participant. Greg knows what he is doing and really builds confidence in his athletes. Definitely a place to go to for fencing enthusiasts.

NOVA is a great place to be; a serious-but-friendly all-ages Fencing Club. From beginners to veterans, everyone is welcomed and challenged. Conditioning (catered to fencing) is also offered in case you dont like to do that on your own! Coach Greg and Coach Jeff really make it fun.

The Fencers Club is a great place to fence whether you are a beginner or are experienced. The club atmosphere is fun, supportive, and friendly. Coach Greg is a fantastic instructor and has helped me improve tremendously in all aspects of the sport of fencing including: technique, tactics, strategy, and competition mindset.I highly recommend giving The Fencers Club a try. You will get fantastic exercise for your body and mind, accomplish things you never thought you could do, and have lots of FUN!

My sons, ages 6 and 10, are taking Intro to Fencing as an after school program and they absolutely love it. They come out of each class excited to share what theyve learned. Ive met the instructors and they are neat, polite and have a good rapport with the kids.I am the enrichment coordinator at my sons school and I get to choose which companies wed like to have provide classes to our students. I have invited The Fencers Club back because I feel they represent exactly what I am looking for in an after school program. My boys will most definitely be signing up for the next session!

This club has single-handedly (no pun intended:) convinced me to stay in Virginia! With no previous experience in this sport of fencing, I have been trained by an excellent coach, Greg K., to become a good amateur challenger for some of the seasoned fencers of the club. While competition is a great learning experience and the private lessons are very detailed, this club is ALSO about friends and establishing lifelong relationships. What more could you ask for? For me, the past year of fencing with this group has been very rewarding and fun!

The place was great. Phenomanal space, and wonderful location. When I came for a competition all went well. However, one referee was TERRIBLE. He was unable to see obvious things. Extremely disappointed.
