I love this place! Although, I was apprehensive when Mr. Cass (if you loved Mr. Cass you were hurt when he left) left due to the handling of the corporate office I am TOTALLY SOLD on Manager Gavin & Instructor Steven. Gavin and Steven are something else, Ill say! Steven works hard work the kids in the classes and is patient and kind, but hard when need be. Both are very knowledgeable and skilled with the craft. Highly recommended school for all ages.

Gavin and the whole staff at Pma have been great they work with the kids to make them confident and respectful . but most of al they help them be there best at everything not just karate but school and life my grandson Krishiv loves Pma and so do we I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone thinking of signing your kids up for karate . Has been a great experience for our grandson, a confidence builder, character builder, and fun too. Was surprised when Cass left but Steven and Gavin have kept things going well and are developing their own personal relationships with the kids. It’s like a big family with a good balance of discipline, training, fun, and love for the kids. Very glad our grandson is there and also enjoying getting to know the other parents and grandparents and watching the kids grow and mature. My daughter was shy and quiet girl which was the reason I sent her to Premier Martial Arts Farragut. Mr. Gavin gave her a short lesson and she loved it. So we keep her in the class every Tuesday and Thursday. Gavin and Stephen did a great job to teach them to focus, respect, and team work, which are the three most important things for the martial arts and a lot of other things to have first. They also gave games to let them play, which made kids feel a lot of fun.We all love it, someday maybe Ill take one course for myself. For fun!

Gavin and Steven provide a positive, encouraging learning environment that is suitable for all ages to learn the basic skills of self defense and martial arts. Their enthusiasm to teach, and their respect for each individual student is second to none. After each class, the students in the program leave tired but happy, and hungry to learn more. It is the healthiest, most active, focused, respectful, and happiest I have seen my daughter! Plus, she is now equipped with the skills to defend and protect herself.

Stephen and Gavin are absolutely great with my daughter and all of their students. They really know how to mix the training of martial arts with some good life lessons, and throw in a little fun too. This class has helped our son with his focus/concentration. He can be prone to distraction, so we are pleased with his improvement in this area, along with learning valuable and important self-defense skills. On top of that, he has gained confidence and made friends. The environment is supportive from both instructors and other students, as they are taught not only physical skills, but also to be honest, to take personal responsibility, and to be respectful to others. Overall, we are pleased.P.S. The instructors are not as handsome as I am, but thats not their fault. 😉

Highly recommended Premier Martial arts near Kroger to those in Farragut with young kids. Stephen is the perfect blend of patient and demanding with our 6 year old. I try to instill discipline and dedication whenever I can, but its nice to have another grown up helping her learn, focus, and work hard besides the parents. Stephen efficiently uses the time in class, staying aware of individual needs, and rewarding the class with unique games (so the kids are incentivized to do their best). This is a Top Flight school for kids; and while I havent seen much of the adult/black belt classes, they look even better with more mature students (and less chaos to contend with).

Great school with a solid platform for children. We have both of our children (ages 4 & 6)enrolled and they love it. Highly recommend.

The instructors are the best, they know how to teach and interact with kids. The passion the PMA team pours out into the kids and even the parents! This is an investment, monetarily but most important, it will teach your kids discipline and encourage them to be their best. Ive had countless proud dad moments that Ive experienced through my son, from the actual physical part to him learning the student creed and leading his class! Typical Toddler martial arts. They get you in with a $9.99 rate. This covers your first “free” lesson and the uniform they put on immediately. What parent is going to tell their 3 year old no after this?$900 later you have to pay for the entire “enrollment”. Not for you? Too bad! These people don’t care about your child they care about the money! Unfortunately due to our child’s medical issues we had to stop going to “classes”. We have never heard from anyone at this center, checking in, is everyone ok.....The only time we have heard anything from them is about payment for classes he did NOT attend! Do yourself a favor and pick another place for your kids!!

PMA has been a wonderful experience for our daughters over the past 2 years. Mr. Steven and Mr. Gavin are teaching important martial arts and real life skills and keep the kids engaged with a little fun. They are learning to be respectful, confident, and focused and this can be seen at school and at home. I would highly recommend PMA!

I have been going for a month and half and my life has changed for the best. 2 months ago i was on the verg of being depressed and my son wanted to do this so i took him and he loves it. I asked about and I decided to try and its one of greatest things I have ever done. I feel great spiritual and physical, I see a difference in my size and how I look at life and i have 25lbs in that month and half. I can not thank Gavin and steven enough for what they have done for me and I will do this for the next 20 years as long god lets me.

Having a son on the Autism Spectrum makes it very difficult for him to participate in activities his peers do. When we first took William to Premier Martial Arts in Farragut, we were there to see how he did in a new environment that requires focus, balance, coordination, and intensity - all difficult things for those with ASD. Mr. Gavin walked William through the basics and noticed some of William’s “quirks” - the stimming, lack of eye contact, and soft punches and kicks. Mr. Gavin explained the program to us and the requirements necessary for belt progression. While it may take William longer than his his peers to get to move up the belt ladder, we have seen great improvement in William already. He looks forward to attending the class, is very comfortable being in close proximity with the other students in the class, doesn’t get as bothered as before with the loudness of the class, and is learning the names of the different stances and moves. For us, it is the patience and understanding shown by Mr. Gavin and Stephen, when working with William, that we appreciate the most. They hold him accountable for learning in a firm, yet caring way.

My kids have learned a lot here, having a blast at the same time. Good instructors making learning fun!

We have been thrilled with our experience at Premier in Farragut! The instructors are wonderful.

This is an extremely well run, well organized program that is professional, structured, and every action considers the child’s best interest first. There is an emphasis on team and family. The instructors are well trained and understand how to communicate with children. My son has been in the school for two years, and I can’t imagine being anywhere else! I would highly recommend PMA also because I am a native of this area and over many years, even before I had a child I observed the conduct of the leaders and members of all four of the Martial Arts schools here (all within 5 minutes of each other) at parades and other school/community events. When my son showed interest in self defense and martial arts at age 6, I chose PMA based on my observations of how much integrity the PMA team demonstrated at public events. The classes are all education, but they also make events for PMA families for fun, like parents night outs, Easter egg hunt, and pool party. There is a constant reinforcing of accomplishment of skills which keeps children motivated.

Great teaching and fun games with teachers that understand kids and adults of all ages.

They will hire anybody and just hand out black belts.Other schools in the area are small businesses that train well and memorize all their kids names.At my daughters party wehad a good time but she still decided to go to Kama because she felt it was more serious
