I heard so many bad things about Douglas Byrd school and found it to be completely false the teachers truly worked with my son in a very low. Point in his school year. Thank you so much for all the work you did

I heard so many bad things about this school, so I was very nervous moving my some from Grays Creek to Douglas Byrd. In Gray Creek(oneness of the best Schools in the district) my son was lazy, had horrible grades, and never wanted to get involved in school activities. At Byrd he is in all honors classes, has stright As and is now working out with classmates so he can play football in the spring!

This school has changed so much over the years and has gotten worse. Fights 24/7, arguments withAdministrators. I say get rid of the bad and it wouldnt be a bad school but no one does anything. Its like bullying students is permitted and looked over. Generations have changed and gets worse I dont blame anyone but the school administrators for overlooking others and turning a school to trash

My daughter goes to this school ad my youngest daughter will be going next yr. They both love this school ad the support staff especially props go out to the Ec department ad staff. They very welcoming ad open door with the parents. Goooooo Eagles!!!!

My son been in svhs now I move thr dbhs district I am very very upset svhs already know that I move I was not gonna tell but they found out by the mail I heard bad thing of this school ima do everything I can to leave my son at svhs

So many people say bad things about this school, but my children loved it. Teachers are AWESOME!

Douglas Byrd is the worst high school in the county. The students leave stool on the bathroom floor, have burning trash cans. And some of the worst students ever. They hardly do anything for their students and worse they mess up while transferring students to other schools.

I have been at this school and have loved it here

This School bad and I can go on and on but just go to a different school then this. I give it a 1/5

Im a student That attends here and I really enjoy it People say bad things about it but the school has turned around !

This place sucks. Most of the admin are disrespectful and so are the kids.

I have only had bad experience from this school the staff is very unpefetional seem like they dont wont the kids to suceed in life they work just to get a pay check if you wont your child to be all they can be please find a better school that wont them on the right track

HI I WANT TO SAY HOW THE CAFETERIA MANAGER TREAT SOME OF HER EMPLOYEES TODAY I OBSERVED A LADY RUNNING THE LINE AND MY FELLOW CLASSMATES WERE SAYING AWFUL THINGS TO HER ABOUT HER WEIGHT THE MANAGER AND ANOTHER COWORKER TALKED BAD ABOUT THE LADY INSTEAD OF ASKIN THE LADY. SHE WAS JUST TRYING TO KEEP THE KIDS FROM JUMPING US IN LINE WHICH THEY DO EVERY DAY THE KIDS AT OUR SCHOOL ARE MEAN AND ALWAYS BULLYING OTHER KIDS SAD BUT THE OFFICE MANAGER SHOULD HAVE NEVER PUT HER WORKER DOWN LIKE THAT AND LET US HEAR IT

In my opinion one of the worst high schools in north Carolina the teachers dont care about their students the students dont care about school and just dont go but the kids that do go fight and bully other students the lunch is horrible I ate it once and got food poisoning so dont even waste your time
