About a year ago we had our daughter take piano lessons from Music & Arts, the instructor canceled About three times with some personal issue, so we left. A couple weeks ago we decided to give them another try, we called and spent 30 minutes or more with the sales associate on the phone setting up virtual piano lessons, two days before the lessons are set to begin we hadnt received any instruction on how the lessons would be conducted, so we call, the person on the phone had no idea what I was talking about, said I wasnt in the system, so she puts me on hold a few times, at this point I dont want the lessons anymore and thats what I told her, during the refunding of my money, she pops in and says, looks like you are in our system...wow, really. No thanks.Do better.

I have been coming here with my daughter and her instruments for the past 5 yrs, maintenance, purchasing expensive instruments, repairs, information and so on. I have NEVER had such issues and horrible customer service as I have the last two times, once when calling for information and when coming into the place. Granted Covid changed ALOT.for everyone... but one thing it should NOT have changed is how u greet people when the walk in, speak to them when they are inquiring information and deal with them once you see the level of frustration a customer has. The only reason I am keeping my services here is because this is where the instrument was purchased. There should be some level of understand that during the time of COVID... maintenence contracts that lapse when stores were closed were beyond anyones power not allowing someone to renew maintenance due to school being out for a year before having to charge me to send it out to be looked at FIRST...is just insane to me. I am just very disappointed at how they have handled this situation....and the people at the front could use some training in how they speak to people as wellThey might come across the wrong one on a bad day.

Milton Williams is one of the best teachers. My daughter has been taking violin lessons from Milton for almost a year. Her confidence level has sored from his praise and patience for her. He is a great inspiration for her and is very talented/gifted himself. I am so glad we decided to go to Music and Arts to get private lessons. I highly recommend this store for lessons and all your music needs.

I have been a customer of music and arts for the past two years and have enjoyed my experience every time I get to stop by the store. I first visited music and arts when we needed a violin for my daughter’s schools strings program and found the rental process to be quick and easy. Though I was hesitant to rent instead of purchase at first, I’m so glad I did. She went through several violin sizes which we then were able to exchange for a cello. I also enrolled her in both violin and voice lessons. She loved every minute of it. The teachers and associates of the Fayetteville store are great and are always ready to help. I highly recommend them for all your music needs. The staff are expertly trained and knowledgeable. The instructors are, likewise.

My daughter has been taking lesson from Milton now for a few years. He is a fantastic instructor, and he is such a good role model. We are very happy with everything the store has to offer as well regarding instruments and accessories.

If I could put negative stars I would! This company sucks! I rented a cello for my daughter and when you sign up, they stated they will auto draft your account. Which is fine and I do not have a problem with. The problem is when you look at your account and they decide to draft $449.00 in one month and you have no explanation to why. When you call the billing company, they are rude and disrespectful. You ask to speak with a manager for weeks and no one will call you back. You send emails no one will call you back. I feel like this company is the worst ever. I will never in life do business with them. Still to this day billing issue has not been resolved.

Im an older adult who never played and instrument.Chris is very patience, she had great interpersonal and professional ethics, shes very resourceful, and problem solving, she is flexible with her schedule.Most of all Chris is a caring supportive andhas that special way in motivating you on a hard dayThank you Chris Cobb for being the person that you are to all the students and keeping the guitar music alive.

I have been coming to this Music & Arts from the time I started playing trumpet (12 years) and I have purchased every one of my trumpets from here. Needless to say, the service is phenomenal and I have never experienced bad service. I have been going through this company for the last year with a Cello rental. I have had no complaints with anyone or anything and no problems. They have been very helpful and understanding when we ran into a problem with the account our payments were coming out of. Anyway, not everyone has the same experiences.

I walked into this store about thirty minutes ago, and overheard conversation about a recent theft that took place, just before I got there. Understanding the initial shock of the incident, I patiently waited to be acknowledged....I played one of the electric pianos over by the window, waiting to see if anyone would come speak and see if I needed assistance..... nothing..... migrated to the Yamaha Arius that was on display for $1499.95, located on the wall.... played a few songs. After being here for 25 almost 30 minutes, I ended my playing session, and walked out without ever being acknowledged. There’s to be a lack of customer service training for this establishment and they will never ever get my business!

The professionalism of one of the associates at this store, some woman wearing glasses (didnt catch the name) is unbelievably horrid. If you hate your life, your job and everything else, get a job working AWAY from the public. You walked in acting like the most miserable person on the planet and sucked the happiness and overall goodness from the room with your negative behavior. Geez.If they could find courteous and friendly associates, the store would be much better.

I had a complicated rental/purchase situation and the manager Dave worked with me on and off the phone all day to help me get the answers I needed. He went out of his way to help me and it was much appreciated. I highly recommend this business, their customer service alone cant be beat. :)Thanks again!!

Warning! Dont rent your childs instrument from this company. Their coporate customer service sucks! Each month I have to call in about billing errors. Ive tried talking to a manager and was told you have to leave a message it will be a 24-48 hour wait to get a call back. Guess what? It will never happen!! The representatives say theyre going to correct the errors and it will be a few days before it will update in the system and it NEVER happens. Ive been waiting for several months now and my bill is still wrong and hasnt been corrected. I was told I could go into the local store and make my monthly payment and I do each month ON TIME! Im still getting charged late fees and other fees. Then the local store employees cant explain any discrepancies about your account because they claimed they have limited access to customers accounts it has to be handled by corporate. Well corporate is who Ive been contacting for months and theyve been providing unsatisfactory results! I was warned by a school system not to do business with them and why they discontinued contracting with them. But I didnt listen and now I see...I wouldnt recommend this company at ALL!!! 😠

This company has a problem with explaining their process. My daughters instrument had to be switched out because of some funky noise it was making. I am under the impression that its a no brainer, insurance covered issue! Four months went by and they had stopped taking my payment out, all of a sudden they take one lump some of money from my account! I call and the intentionally rude man on the line says this is our process after an instrument is switched out! Ok this may be the case but, it was never explained to me that would happen. I totally dont get why the stop processing my payment, and then hold me accountable for a lump sum! If I could afford lump sums, I would have bought the instrument out right! I am done, never again!

Do not I repeat do not sign up to take lessons with Mrs Arta. Not once but twice have I driven 35 minutes for my daughter to have her 1st violin lessons for her only to be disappointed by this individuals due to failure to show up and do her job. My son absolutely loves his teacher so its not the place but the individual that they have chosen to hire.

I have been going to the store for several years now and I was just informed that even though I just bought strings less than 24 hours ago that I have to pay to replace one because one of their employees over tighten my string and I touch the string and it snapped and hit me in the eye and theyre telling me I have to pay to buy a new string because its not in their policy to replace it without ever telling me that there was no policy in place.

I will never return to this store. The manager will not honor the rental warranties and is constantly pressuring you to buy another instrument. He often relates inaccurate information about the construction of an instrument. Be very wary of him!
