This is a great school to place your child. I went here a while back, and was there for the full 3 years. At the time, I hated that it was a year round school. What child wouldn’t? However, looking back at it now, it was definitely better for me. I retained information much better because of the shorter summers. The teachers often went above and beyond for each student. The staff that I interacted with were also very kind and helpful. I still visit the school, although many of the employees that were there when I attended the school are now off to other places. Most of the current staff in the guidance department arrived there after I left Chesnutt, but I have met them during my visits, they are wonderful people with a heart for the students.

Great Choice for Year-Round Possibilities. Love having the option to vacation all times of the year instead of having to stick to the same schools as all of the other schools on traditional calendars. Year Round affords you the option of 3-4 week breaks in the Fall & Spring Breaks and 4-5 weeks out for Summer/Winter Breaks. My child is able to retain so much more knowledge during the summer break due to shorter summer breaks than the normal 2 months.

That Principal Mr. Tonja Robertsonis Horrifying.Shes not certified,to make any Logical Decisions,regarding a Child.She will hand a child right over into Danger.She is not a. Strategic Thinker at All.Shes very Gulliable as well.Very Scary.The Big Big Woman at front Desk is Rude.There sloppy.They, dont even handle phone calls efficiently.Be-Aware.

They talk about having to wear white socks. the teachers are fun. the spanish teachers is amazing

I love the School but dispise their back office Mrs.Hoskins. First day of school and youre calling me about white socks to bring. You could of sent home a letter and request for me go inside my child is in dress code. Last year most of the students were out of code but you have a new principal and need to kiss behind I get it but you Still wont earn any extra brownie points!!

I had a few good teachers when i went years ago. Im 20 Mr. Allen 8th grade teacher was great & 7th grade teacher Mr. Tucker was great and 8th grade teacher Mrs. McNeil. Kids varied cant blame them some werent raised right back than idk about now.

I go here,its not bad but the woman at the front office is rudeToo many roaches,a few radroachesFoods goodRobotics is fun

I have at this school since 6th grade im now i the 7th grade.1. the teachers are very good they really want there students to pass all there grades2. the food is not the best but it is healthy3. but i hope you dont have a lot of problem because the prince able Ms.Roberson is not the best because after one tine you see her she probably wont like you .a true fact

I loved this school when I went to it the staff is nice and the teachers are always helping ! Love the Community feeling
