School or prison for kids? Basically section 8 education. No gymnasium? No auditorium? Extremely rude staff, especially teachers! If youre able to keep your child out of this school I would highly recommend doing so. Actually Id recommend keeping them as far from that entire area (county) as possible! Nothing but trash! Literally the septic tank of NC 🤮

Every teacher my children had during their years here were amazing. They were very attentive and caring. My kids looked forward to school every day.Mr. McMillan (the principal) is awesome. Always has a smile on his face and willing to help. I love to see him interact and dance with the kids when they have their school functions. I appreciate the staff at this school. Very glad my children have/had the opportunity to attend for their elementary school years.

My daughter attends this school, kindergarten, so its a big deal for her ! She loves school...I fairly like Cumberland mills elem but its just a few things that bother me , like the vibe of the women at the front desk ... Sometimes theyre attitudy and quite rude.But other than the unprofessional ways ... I like how happy my child is after school telling me about all she learned .So its okay for me for now hopefully I wont have any bad experiences with this school .And yes MrMcmillian is awesome ....

They need to get a handle on bus-related incidents but that is my only complaint. Other than that, Ive enjoyed every one of my childs teachers from Pre-K up until 5th. Even the ones who werent his teacher are pleasant and helpful. My oldest child who is now 17 also went there as well for K-5th. CMES is a wonderful little community. My interaction with the new principal has also been very positive although I do miss Mrs. Beavers:).

The worse school my kids ever had to attend to
