I dont understand why this school has so many bad reviews. This school is amazing, my kids have been attending TCEA for 3 years and never had an issue. Even during the Covid lockdown they were still doing a great job to make sure the kids were learning. All the staff is great, their art program is amazing, very interactive, we love the school and we hope there were more schools like this in town ❤

I have never seen such passionate educators and staff before this school. Their vision and hope they provide to their students is so amazing. I will always sing their praises. This school is the future of learning. This school year was hard but our children thrived due to this schools leadership and amazing staff. I am so incredibly grateful and indebted to them.

My son has been a student here since he was in Kinder. Hes now in 3rd grade. All the teachers are very sweet and kind, really helpful and they work hard to make sure the kids are learning. Their arts program is amazing. My son loves every bit of it. Hes very creative and he specially enjoys the theater classes with Mr. Kline, where he learns to animate and create motion movies, etc. All the staff is great. We have had a great experience at this school.

If you’re thinking of sending your child here, don’t. Plain and simple especially after this whole pandemic and virtual learning mess. I don’t even think they realized there are a lot of single parents who are working full time jobs with little to no help. All while having to maintain a home, trying to get their child’s projects and school work done and barely keep up with their own classes. Thankfully my child was able to get into a better school for next year. This school is a hard pass.

My origional review was deleted from changing Google accounts. *from 18-19 year* The school does not know how to handle bullying or issues. My son had issues and when he was attacked by another student by having his arm twisted back pushed into a wall and bitten. He defended himself pushing the kid away by his neck dive he was biting my son, and my son was suspended for pushing him away when the other kid didnt. So how is the kid with the huge knot on his head, bruises on his arm, and full bite marks on his shoulder the one suspended? The vice principal was extremely incompetent, when transferring back to public the front desk lady printed our records and deleted them from the system.... then lost them, but I still say his teacher was great and helpful.Ended up switching back to public Baldwin Elementary school, where my son was so much happier, and so was I.

Really unprofessional school with unbelievably unprofessional staff and some teachers. I had three of my children in this school and 2 of the teachers were very nice, very professional and did their best teaching my girls despite the poor conditions the school was in (lacking air conditioning at times and leaks and small classroom space with such limited classroom funds etc), however, the 4th grader teacher was horrible. I mean horrible. As was the principle. Very unprofessional, very condescending, and the teacher was borderline psychotic publically, to all passerby students and teachers, proclaiming I was cornering her before class started when I was just walking my daughter into class and wanted to say hello and ask a question. Upon bringing this up as well as my 4th grader being subjected to constant bullying at which the teacher seemed very indifferent to and wouldnt do anything about, the principle just went into excuses about how we cant demand perfection from humans...that we just need to be happy with how things are and thankful. She went into a personal lecture on us as human beings completely excusing the unprofessionalism going on. She said she would not force the teacher to offer an apology as that goes against the teachers own moral rights. That the school and teacher would not offer our family an apology for the outburst of fake crying wolf but instead they are sorry we were offended by the teachers behavior as that is just our own issue to get over. I highly recommend you look anywhere else but here. Really horrible school.

This school is perfect for you if you like arts (visual art, theater/filming, music, steam/stem,). Its a great school. Theres no bullying and you feel accepted. The teachers are really nice. You can great friends and get to know the teachers. I wouldnt recommend this school to you if you are wanting to play school sports, because there none. They have all different after school activities (robotics, chorus, dance...etc...). I went to The Capitol since it opened and I loved it unfortunately I left, because Iwanted to play sports but other than that its an amazing school.

Its Terrible that the school can’t even succeed at its main goal which is to help Inspire kids with helpful means, their are often little to no way to get help when bullied, teachers often acting unprofessional screaming and yelling at me when I do something they disagree with, a surprising wave of bulling by teachers by insulting people by their size of height, weight, etc.i would also like to say how the school feels like a scam with its tour, only showing the good parts, without showing the cons of it, this school has a weird pride (not in the good way) their are students who are failing hard but will still say the school is good. Due to them being brought at a earlier age with rosed tinted glasses.D average all around might as well be FI’m a student but I think are voices are important, are voices are often silenced in school and I hope this will help anybody thinking about going to this school.Would Not recommend

I must add this for anyone concerned about the competency of the faculty and staff at this school. The school counselor actually came into family court today to testify that my daughters were bullying children. Without any record of such behavior. She made mention that I have left a review about her that she did not agree with. This was completely out of line and unprofessional. This place is going to be the biggest regret I have ever made. 2015-2018

I had to lower my original rating. I also have to stop recommending this school to the community. The current administration has an issue with taking accountability for their own system failures. I have to question now their ability to protect my children and that is most unfortunate and intolerable.

At first this school was great, my son was above average completing work and happy. Over time teachers started leaving and my childs progress started to slip. Upon asking several times what could be done we were more or less blown off by the people in charge and our needs were not met. There were several safety issues as well. I was not informed on several occasions that my child was physically hurt. I had to call the superintendent to get action. Also my child is now below grade level and used to be above grade level. Bullying is not dealt with as the school has become very complacent and disorganised. We will be pulling my child out of this school because his needs are not being met and despite him being a very intelligent young man, he has been failed by the very institution that we had hoped would offer a better alternative to public schools in Fayetteville. We feel very betrayed as a family and the only people who really suffer are the children. In my opinion even one child slipping through the cracks is unacceptable not to mention that its highly unprofessional considering the only purpose of a school is to teach our future leaders.

This school is horrible the overall grade level is at a lousy D the teachers dont TEACH they do not know how to handle middle school age leveled children correctly at all (keeping them inside all day and not providing physical activity and expecting them to maintain a solid attention span) the ways normal things are handled there are completely invalid and the attendance of a child was set on a iced road day. My child was also bullied and punched infact and was later punished because of what he told the child bullying him to do get the hell away from me this school just isnt being run properly at all Id rate no stars if that were optional

This school is a big joke!! Please look into this school, do your homework, read the reviews, reach out to parents before you even think to enroll your student here.My son started this school the first year it was built & opened. He came later in the year but still came here due to his special needs and not adapting well in a traditional school setting. The administration that was here the first year we were there was absolutely amazing and beyond words. Then everything started to go down hill from there. When Mrs. Hill came in and took over the school some things started to improve (slowly), then some did not. All the teachers started leaving, counselors leaving, students leaving. No explanation other than “it’s the administration & time for us to move on”Our family has been able to tolerate the school through the years because we love our child has actual friends and a sense of belonging because he’s been here since 1st grade, however, if it wasn’t for one teacher- Mrs. Majka, we would have left by now.The teachers they brought in this year are an utter and complete joke. So much unprofessionalism, unethical, racist, bullying going on- that I don’t foresee how this school is supposedly “doing so well”. Ms. Bigler is a major one to look out for. We have witnessed and seen and been part of her melt downs, unprofessionalism, and unethical standpoints as a teacher and professional. And the school does nothing. We had conferences scheduled which had to be rescheduled due to work, and we heard nothing. Nothing. And can we mention about the office people giving out medication and not obtaining a NC legal certification for it. It’s called North Carolina Medication Aide- which allows you and authorizes you to give out medications to children in school settings. We went in there and our son hadn’t even had his meds and it was a hour past his timeline which was printed on the medicine bottle. This school isn’t all it’s made up to be. Please please please do your research first before enrolling your student.
