Excellent teachers and great administration of this program. The recital organization is well done with clear communication.

I cannot say enough good things about this dance studio. Especially their level of dedication during the pandemic to do literally all they could to get dancers safely back in the studio. As long as my daughter to continues to love dancing, we will be here.

This place has great classes for children and teenagers in dance and theater. They have classes all year around, but I especially like their summer theater camps. My children have been going there for years!

We have had a wonderful experience with Childrens Dance Theater! This was our first year performing in the amazing Nutcracker show and we loved every minute. Everyone is very friendly, it really feels like family. My daughter enjoyed it so much she wants to do it again next year. I cant say enough about this dance studio, you wont regret it. The staff are very friendly and will answer any questions you may have. Thank you Childrens Dance Theater for creating a positive and fun dance experience for our family!

Childrens Dance Theater is a wonderful studio, and Ive been meaning to write a review for awhile. My daughter started with their musical theater summer camp a few years ago, only because she was mildly interested in singing and theater and it was affordable and convenient for me. By the end of the three-week camp (which was awesome), she was completely in love with dance and has been taking classes here ever since. Shes now taking ballet, jazz, lyrical and hip-hop, and wants to be a professional dancer someday. :)The best thing about this place is the teachers. Ms. Stephanie, the owner, is a wonderful teacher, in addition to being an organized and communicative business owner. Ms. Krystal, Ms. Debbie and Ms. Alashia are some of the other teachers my daughter has had over the years, and I have been so impressed with them as teachers and as role models -- its really wonderful to have all these strong, talented and caring women in my daughters life. Im certain that her love of dance is due in large part to these teachers sharing their own passion for dance, and being challenging yet encouraging to the kids they teach.Oh, and the office staff and even other parents are pretty great too -- its a really friendly atmosphere, and staff and other parents have always been helpful whenever Ive had a question about costumes, classes, etc. Its so nice to be in an environment where kids can be dedicated and even competitive, yet parents are welcoming and supportive of other parents and all the other kids in the studio.Anyway, thats been our experience. I think its a great studio for beginners as well as seriously dedicated dancers -- some of the kids seem to practically live there and the performances are pretty amazing.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone for an amazing first Nutcracker experience for Olivia. She absolutely LOVED it. Stephanie Cox, you are an amazing leader, teacher, director and person. Thank you for creating such a beautiful experience for these kids, just like the wonderful dance experiences we had growing up. It’s something you never forget. I love this studio! Stephanie, the owner and director, is an amazing teacher! I only hear praise from the parents and students! Both they and the teachers love and respect her, and I have only heard positive things said. My daughter loves her classes with Stephanie and I can see improvement in her technique! She is thriving under Stephanies direction and I could not ask for more or better, because she is already getting the best! I also work here, and I feel welcome and encouraged to expand my own knowledge and love of dance!!! I cannot imagine working anywhere else!

This is a wonderful place for your child to take dance lessons. My daughter has been dancing here for about 8 years and has thoroughly enjoyed it! She loves taking ballet, pointe, jazz, lyrical, hip hop and many more styles of dance. She enjoys the June recitals as well as performing in the Nutcracker and being a member of the competition team. Miss Stephanie and her teaching staff are absolutely wonderful and have taught her so much! We are so lucky to be a part of this studio!

I love bringing my kids to Prestige Dance Studio! Its affordable, age appropriate, and focuses on each child - assisting with life skills even beyond dance! Love it so much, I chose to be an instructor here, too! I especially love building kids up during our July Summer Camps - which reflects the direction of Stephanie! Looking forward to many more years of dance family love & support!

My daughter has been a part of this studio going on 6 years and I would never choose another studio for her! Majority of her teachers have been such an amazing support for her, both in her dancing, as well as other areas of her life. She has had teachers who were unfit for the studio, but Stephanie listened to the concerns of her students and the parents and since his dismissal, she has found a new love for tap and I could not be more grateful to the studio for seeing that what was going on was not working and and making improvements for our dancers. This studio has their dancers at the heart and soul of their business. This is a great family place that loves, accepts and includes all and definitely becomes family.

This studio is amazing! We have attended several studios in the area, but Prestige Dance Studio is REALLY the best. The instructors are very professional and skilled and the variety of classes is impressive. Highly recommend!

I cant say enough wonderful things about Stephanie and her studio. My daughter has been dancing there for 6 years now and I couldnt imagine being someone else.When we first started looking for a dance studio, we were a one income family, and needed something affordable. Every studio we looked into, was more expensive and had less instruction time. My daughter was pretty timid at first, but Stephanie has made the environment fun and exciting for my daughter since they day she walked into the studio. Every teacher shes had has paid great attention to my daughters strengths and highlighted them when possible. They encourage and challenge the areas my daughter needs to improve on. Anytime Ive brought a concern to the instructors or Stephanie, its been handled discretely without embarrassment or shaming. Stephanies interest in my daughters growth in her talents, is pure and genuine. Any concerns are always honest and given to me directly. The studio is easy, the staff is understanding, the shows are professional. The environment is comfortable and they have become my second family.My daughter loves dancing, she loves being in the shows (which are always age appropriate and tasteful) and loves Stephanie and the other instructors that are currently at the studio. She loves to be challenged and always enjoys her classes when shes stretched to improve her ability.Stephanie and staff are great with boys too. My son dances in the nutcracker every year and loves being part of the production. Stephanie has done a wonderful job making sure the boys have plenty of options and dance disciplines to choose from.I tell everyone I know who asks where we dance, and Im proud to say, Childrens Dance Theater and Prestige Dance Studio.

My daughter has been dancing with this studio for over 6 years!! We have loved almost all of the instructors that have worked there. With the exception of the tap instructor. His behavior and inappropriateness during his classes left my daughter miserable! The style of dance she loved was almost single handedly ruin by him! Thank you so much Ms. Stephanie for realizing that this man was poisoning your studio and dismissing him!! My daughter has found her love for tap again and we will continue to promote and support your studio!!Thank you so much for listening to not only the parents but the students of your studio!! My oldest daughter has danced at this studio since age three and is now a proud member of the staff. I am proud to say she learned everything she knows about dancing and teaching dance from the amazing and inspiring teachers that work at this studio. My younger daughter is going on her 10th year of dancing at CDT and loves every minute of the time she spends at the studio. The studio has a family feel and is welcoming and inviting. The owner Stephanie Cox has personally been an inspiring role model for both my girls. She is professional and responds very appropriately to parent concerns, even concerns which ultimately lead to the unfortunate consequence of needing to terminate staff. She lovingly looks out for her students best interests as if they were her own children and as a very involved parent I cant ask for more that that. She makes sure the studio is a positive and encouraging place to learn and study dance. My girls consider it a second home and I wouldnt have it any other way!

The facility is poorly heat in the winter and poorly cooled in the winterthe end of the year show poorly managed and expensivethe helper at the front is unable to help with concerns and my husband and i never met the owner the entire time our daughter was enrolled in dance the last two yearsnotice that all the positive google reviews below came at the same time as part of a fake campaign to raise their failing ratingyou deserve better

About 4 years ago Prestige Dance Studio (PDS is in Federal Way, WA) came under the same ownership as Children’s Dance Theater (CDT is in Auburn, WA.) This location is also a great fit for parents wishing to keep their dancer in age appropriate costuming, choreography and music. Our family is in our 12th season of dancing, my dancers take various styles of dance and have benefited from different instructors over the years as they learn new techniques, steps/combinations and choreography each year and have danced at PDS as well as CDT. The dancers also benefit from many non-dance aspects to life as they’re developing socially, they’re exposed to different elements of performance such as performing at different events, venues and competitions (optional), assisting with making props, loading and unloading at theaters and what it takes to put a ~90 person Nutcracker ballet show together every December for the last 7 seasons. Finally, we have witnessed the productions and recitals improving each year over more than the last decade while the CDT/PDS owner has managed to keep our costs at a price point that’s affordable for our family. We couldn’t imagine our kids dancing anywhere else!

My daughter loves it here! We LOVE Miss Stephanie!!
