I joined Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Federal Way because I wanted to enhance my dancing and wanted to develop more confidence in myself. With the great staff I call this dance studio my 2nd home, because I feel like I belong to a family. The Instructors are so so professional and knowledgeable in every aspect of the dance they teach. After a year and a half I feel more confidence, elegant and beautiful...thanks to Arthur Murray Federal Way...highly recommend this dance studio.

Its no secret. Ive been dancing at this fantastic studio for 13 years and the quality of the staff and dance program will keep me coming. Artthur Murray will customize a dance plan of fun or challenge for you.

Started taking dance lessons here 8 years ago to make my wife happy. As a result I lost 40 lbs., and I still have a wife! Now we dance competitively and enjoy every minute of it. The staff are mostly nice considering I speak to them in grunts and monosyllables. They are all excellent dance teachers. If you value experiences over material things, you should try this.

I was part of the AMDS - Federal Way family for quite some time until I moved out of state recently. The staff is wonderful and treat you like family. Ballroom dancing is so much fun for every age category and it gave me an outlet of something to do for myself. I miss and adore them all, fellow former students and staff and highly reccomend this place to anyone who likes to dance or wants to try something new. Stay blessed and safe.

From the moment I first walked in, I had been overwhelmed by how welcoming the staff is at this place! My instructor Teresa is made of patience, and has always stood in a place that allowed me to feel free and confident while learning with ease, which I hardly feel when it comes to dancing in general. And I have done many years of other types of dancing, mostly without such experience. Everything from classes to parties seem to always be filled with joyous people - both teachers and students. It just always seems like everyone who is there, actually wants to be there! It is quite outstanding! I very much recommend this studio to everyone, regardless of your skill level! :)

I was always scared of the dance floor, but decided I needed to get over that. Arthur Murray took me from knowing nothing to dancing many styles and any music! Its an extremely fun and inviting atmosphere, the practice parties let you dance with partners of all levels, and its always fun.

A warm and welcoming staff and student body. Not only can you learn to dance here, but you can also rack up some wonderful experiences at the many events offered throughout the year, make amazing friends, and have a lot of fun. 🙂

You have found the dance studio you are looking for! A fantastic experience with knowledgeable, friendly and approachable staff. You can immediately tell that both the students and staff love to share their passion for dance. We especially appreciated our time with Jeff and our great instructor Léo.

Super fun place to learn to dance with instructors that can really help you understand steps, frame and progression in different ways depending on your learning style. Love going to lessons and group classes (when I can). Highly recommend. We started a few months before our wedding and kept going after.

The staff are wonderful: personable, highly skilled dancers and dance instructors who can adjust how they teach to fit anyones learning style, current dancing skills and goals. The studio is a fine, attractive space and is conveniently located on Pacific Highway in Federal Way. Arthur Murray Dance Studio Federal Way offers a variety of classes and opportunities to dance and to watch expert dancers perform, and they have classes at various times and most days. The one drawback is cost: You sign a contract for a set number of lessons or weeks, and it aint cheap.

My fiancé and I came in wanting a few dance lessons before our wedding. We had our $50 introductory lesson and it went great, however when Tina sat us down to talk about further lessons, they tried to convince us that we needed 12 lessons for a whopping $1100, even though we kept insisting that we didn’t need to learn anything fancy, just some moves beside neither of us had danced before. However they insisted that we needed AT LEAST 8 lessons. We said we had to go home and think about spending that kind of money because my mother was offering to pay for the lessons. She was extremely pushy and pressured us in to scheduling our next appointment on the spot so we did. When I told my mom about the prices she was understandably shocked, so she called the studio and asked about cheaper packages and less lessons. Apparently they have a variety of packages available for people with a lower budget that they failed to mention. That leads me to believe that they were trying to take advantage of us being young and not knowing any better. When confronted about this we were met with a sarcastic remark along the lines of “this is a classy event and you don’t want your daughter swaying back and forth like she’s at prom”. We promptly canceled our lesson that we were forced into scheduling and have never been back.
