I was interested in my sons new school so I called the school. One of the front desk staff replied that the school was out and if I could call back. It was my only chance to find my sons class including his teacher. Wow! After the call I read the reviews about bullying and how much chaos is going on. It makes me think that this school may not be a great fit for my son. I really miss the highline school district and how much they really cared. The federal way district today is a messy place. Just forget this review it wont make a difference anyway. Your probably thinking cry baby or over worrying. But wait till your kids get bullied or taunted by a teacher and see how it will affect their future. Just saying do your research before placing your kids in a bad environment. Peace ✌

“On march 19th, 2018 my daughter was a victim of bullying, neglect and public humiliation by her music teacher Mr. Norman Sidel. My daughter was in Mr.Sidels music class when she had asked to use the restroom twice. Mr. Sidel refused to let her go which caused her to urinate on herself. Mr. Sidel was neglectful in his actions as a teacher. I have spoke with Ms. Marshall who stated there is no policy on letting children use the bathroom. I have also spoken with Mr. Sidel himself and was told that allowing my daughter to use the restroom was unsafe and “haven’t I seen the news about the Florida school shootings.” I have also left a voicemail with the principal and I’ve not yet received a phone call. This situation is time sensitive and needs to be addressed immediately please contact me as soon as possible.” This was an email my sister sent to the school about my niece. She was laughed at, teased, crying and wanted to call her mom but got denied that as well. When she got sent up to the office she sat in her urinated clothing until the office staff realized what she was doing there then decided to change her. This is not okay at all. This can cause trauma to a child and this is a sensitive situation but is not being treated like one.

Not a good school. Jus pulled my kid from the school. Child complained of being bullied. ...another child told my husband he was being bullied..went in and spoke with principle & told her to ask the teachers on duty to take watch ..son came home the following day with a worser story. Teacher considered my son having a sensory issue. .meaning he dont like to b touched..even if its a bump.all kids hv something they deal with...all parents we help them and show them the difference beteen a bump and a hit. Kids can hv imaginations as well..so we try to determine between a kid cryung for help and a kid jus wanting attention or so. But if ur child comes homes saying his nuts were kicked by 2 kids..thats not a sensory issue.i pulled up one day during recess to see the teachers in their own world and kids not being watched and some were by the gate were they could be easily snatched and took off with. Office extremely messy..u can feel the vibe that they talk about u..no safe feeling. Child pick up..kids are sat in office and not watched as hard. Ive watched plenty of u tube videos were kids are snatched outside a door and blends with crowd and gets away. Kids sit by door and teachers chatter while waiting for parents. Looked for my son for 15mins one day wen I made a special report to principle to hv him in office and away from door until I arrive. Im not a reviewer. .bur I jus wouldnt choose this school ..
