I came here instead of driving down to Tiffin Academy where I usually love the service. However I thought to give Findlay Academy a try. I brought my mom along to hang out with me. I came in and asked if I could get my extensions cut to my hair and if I could get coloring done. They asked if I made an appointment and I hadnt so they switched some things around to make it work. That was nice of them. So I went from a brown brunette to black. Simple. While I was getting my hair colored the woman was incredibly nice but got the black dye all over my head and ears and told me not to worry the stains would disappear before my wedding in 6 days. Not cool. After the hair coloring process had finished we then decided to look at the extensions and see how we could add them in to my short hair and cut them to blend in. Well in conclusion the instructor asked if she could be honest and I said yes. She said its not going to work. It looks bad, your hair is not as shiny and beautiful as these extensions. She called herself a miracle worker and even she couldnt do anything about it. So that was not what I wanted to hear but I was fine with it and that was that. Yet she continued to act as though I was super disappointed and kept telling me how it wouldnt work when she didnt offer any other solution. She mentioned that it was a good thing I went from a mousy brown to black. I dont even know how I should have taken that. Why was my hair mousy? She decided not to charge me for the haircut because they didnt cut my hair. Well I would hope they wouldnt because that would be a rip off. All in all service from the instructor was rude, the girls acted as thought they were scared of her and I left with my head looking like it was colored by a 6 year old. I paid $36 to sit there for 2 hours to just have my hair be black. I could have went to dollar tree bought dye for $2 and had an even better experience by myself. Hated my experience and will never be coming back.

They do a great job here. I get haircuts here often for me and my little girls, they charge per age so its great on a budget. I also had my makeup done here once for family pictures and a hairstyle and my stylist did an awesome job on both. My makeup was perfect and I got tons of compliments on my hairstyle

I have two daughters and one particularly likes to have their nails done. She has been for pedicures and manicures and even asks for these for her birthday and Christmas.The staff along with the students do a great job with kids and the salon is clean and inviting. Although I havent got my locks trimmed up there yet, my daughter loves the place.
