Fantastic experience. We used them for a helicopter tour of the city. Our pilot Joe was top notch. We had a smooth ride and he did a great job pointing out things of interest.

Great people and great aircraft rental prices.. KUMP is an excellent airport to operate out of; easy procedures and close to Indianapolis. Nice FBO too..

Living near this place is the worst. The planes literally fly over, low, all day long starting before 7AM. This is extremely inconvenient and obnoxious especially when you are trying to work from home, attempt to relax or get some sleep. I had no idea moving to this area would have this issue.

We took a discovery tour. We had a wonderful time. I would recommend this to anyone.

It was a really great experience! We were taken up for a ride in the plane and flew around downtown a couple of times. More than enough time to get a lot of pictures! Once we got back we were presented with champagne and chocolates. This is something we would definitely be up for doing again. My apologizes but I am forgetting our pilots name but he was tremendous and awesome.

This is the best place for flight training in Indiana for flight training!! The staff are super helpful and super friendly. All the instructors are great, and will help you get a good education in the world of aviation!

I completed my discovery flight with Tom Wood Aviation and enjoyed every second of instruction and experience. Jon was very informative and pleasant as a guide and instructor. I’ve visited multiple airports in the past and none of them are as staff friendly as Tom Wood aviation. They have awesome fleet and great instructions with everything they do! The fuel service is outstanding compared to other airports! I would definitely recommend this airport to anyone that asks about flights!

Surprised my daughter with a discovery flight for her birthday. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming and it could not have been a better experience. Hats off to the Tom Wood Aviation team. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to take to the air.

Flew in with some gear I was returning to a friend. They offered to let him drive his truck up to the plane, but we ended up being able to use a luggage cart they provided. Parked for a few hours while we went to dinner and they didnt charge us. Bought 20 gallons of fuel (which is pricey compared to neighboring airports). Nice selection of free snacks (freshly popped popcorn!) and the lady who was working the counter was a MASTER at multitasking. Anyway, excellent FBO. Looking forward to visiting with them again.

They fly too low and are a nuisance if you live anywhere close to them. Had to call the FAA a number of times since the instructors don’t know how to navigate away from communities.
