Graphics was awesome, the food was great compared to Gardner high school, it was a pretty safe place, library was bussin. I’m really gonna miss it now that I’m out. SHHHEEEEEEESSSHHHH

I was only a student here for 2.5 years but the skills I learned here have stuck with me my whole life so far! The first and most important skill is crying on command. I can now have a mental breakdown on the inside, while staying completely sane on the outside. Their teaching method is to have the other kids yell profanities at you in the hallway in the mornings. Then in the afternoon, having them kick you out of the cafeteria, but then when you go and sit in the hallway, have the teachers tell you to get back into the cafeteria or else youll get punished. Academics was okay I guess? My grades were always pretty high before and after going to school here, but during my time at Monty Tech my grades were at an all time low. This is great, because as someone who values diversity, I can now look at my transcript with a sense of satisfaction. Shop was the best part! I picked culinary, and I learned way more than just how to fry up a delicious octopus. I learned that there are these USB sticks that when you shake them they light up and change colors! You can also smoke them but I think thats a secondary function. Speaking of drugs, despite very thorough drug searches that took place, there was somehow still marijuana everywhere! I almost expected to smell it when I walked into school. At least I knew there wasnt a skunk in the building! The guidance counselors here are also excellent and may be low-key psychic. Mine told me that I should transfer out and finish high school elsewhere because Ill be happier. Almost 2 years later and she was right! Im so much happier, I graduated with a 4.0, and my new school smelled like chicken tenders instead of marijuana skunk.

It is what you make of it. There is opportunity to do what cannot be done or offered at traditional high schools. However kids being kids they may not appreciate whats being offered to them. Certainly a good choice if your child wants to learn more than a traditional high school

This school sets up motivated individuals for a lifetime of success in the workplace. If you plan to go into any of the fields offered, this school will give you a 4 year jump start on the rest of your peers in field.
I like this school so far. Like every school it has its flaws but no shame on that. On my first day here i made 3 new friends. It seems like you can have a conversation with anyone. Ive enjoyed all the shops so far and i think i want to pick Machine Technology. I wouldnt say this school is for everyone but im sure its the one for me.
Giving this school one stars is honestly way too generous. My experience here showed me the staff doesn’t care about students as individuals and only cares about the schools overall reputation. Monty tech also keeps incompetent teachers because of their connections although they should’ve been fired years ago. I also hate how the school doesn’t listen to its students whatsoever. The only thing good about this school is its trades, the thing is though most kids don’t end up choosing a career in the trade they take during their time at Monty Tech. And can I just say this school handles everything incorrectly, from not informing us about a school shooting threat (and lying about details about the situation) , and completely dismissing people being sexual harassed plus so much more. I don’t think the superintendent cares about the school, hopefully one day the school can get a better staff.
Best vocational school in Massachusetts. People pay big bucks to receive this type of education. I highly recommend going here. Even if you decide not to follow your trade, youll gain vast experience and knowledge.

Best school I ever attended. Still continuing the trade I love after graduating about 15 years ago. If you want to learn a trade and continue working in the field after graduating, you need to keep your mind to it.
I wish I could give 0 stars. Monty Tech is the worst school I have ever been to. It is so strict, I have gotten written up for going to the vending machine WITH a pass before. As student, I advise anybody interested to STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL AS POSSIBLE. We even have cell phone boxes that were forced to put our phones in and if we dont were sent to the deans office.UPDATE: It keeps getting worse.
The kid loves the school.
Amazing school if you can appreciate and handle a huge opportunity to better the future you can have in a rewarding trade.

Shop is basically a mix of mixed people on crack with jobs and academics is like the karma you get for stealing that much crack. 6/10 too much water.
