Went in nervous, came out feeling confident as ever. The students here are seriously some of the nicest people in Flagstaff. I got a simple haircut and a basic manicure and I had ZERO problems. If you’re looking for a good hairdresser/nail tech soon, ask for Stephanie. Not only was she extremely thorough, the instructor only noticed a single, almost flyaway, section of hair that needed to be trimmed about half an inch. I felt like I was at a sleepover, chatting with girls and getting my hair and nails done. So obviously the atmosphere was amazing. It looked like the woman next to me got a perm, and it came out so beautiful, just like my own. I got way more than the price I paid here. This was an entirely positive experience, and I am DEFINITELY going to make this my regular salon.

I REALLY enjoyed my Spa Facial by Adriana! She also did a nice job styling my hair. I was impressed with the professionalism of the reception staff. Very glad I came in!!

Seems like each class has one good student-one who is paying for the class themselves rather than from other funding, one who gives very good haircuts and styles and one who is into this as a career, rather than just another job.Problem is, finding this one student. They only spend maximum three months out on the floor working on customers and there are plenty of customers looking for this individual so they can get good cuts for a couple months.Ive gotten good cuts from motivated students and bad cuts from those on a free ride from some funding. If you can find a motivated student, they will give you good cuts until they graduate, problem is you have to do this at least four times a year.

Once again this is a school and we are learning and give thanks to all the customers who support us yes you will find students who do better than others because we all are learning at a different level but believe me each student has their own art developing. Also we are six months on the floor!

Made a ln appointment over the phone for a cut and color at 11 am on a Saturday. Showed up for my appointment and the building was closed. Doors locked, no one inside. Sign on door said they were open until 1pm. Tried calling and no one answered. Very upset about wasting time and gas and be told I could make an appointment and then they arent even open.

Fast, precision services and a friendly staff. Great rates and best of all you get to help wonderful students obtain the skills, and licensing they need.

Ive been to beauty schools all over the U.S. and in various countries. This was the lamest $9 Ive ever spent (and the most for a school!!). The first thing I told the student was that I wanted a THOROUGH haircut. I also said those words to the instructor when she came over. What I ended up getting was a trim off the back (which I had also asked for) and nothing else on my head touched. That is NOT how one gives a proper haircut. Wont go to this chain again.

First of all, guys, its a beauty SCHOOL. It isnt going to be perfect 100% of the time. These people are learning, they are STUDENTS. NOT trained hair stylist experts with 20 years of experience, obviously dont go in expecting that. That being said, I have never gotten a bad haircut and the only time they messed up on a dye job was over EIGHT years ago, which they immediately fixed free of charge. Its definitely one of the better beauty schools Ive been to (and Ive gone to beauty schools in 3+ states.) Customer service can be a little slow but it is certainly not bad. They are always extremely swamped (so being a little slow is PERFECTLY REASONABLE) so I dont mind waiting the extra three minutes to get checked in so they can actually TEACH their students like theyre supposed to. Overall, I would recommend them, but dont go in expecting the same experience that youd get at Vidal Sassoon in New York.

I have been a client and a student this school, client for over 6 years I have NEVER been disappointed it is a fun and upbeat environment, love it there!
