This is a really great place with really great people. My daughter is very young and just starting, but the teachers have been very understanding. The other students have been very welcoming and accepting. The teachers have a real enthusiasm for what they teach, and it isn’t just for taekwondo, but also about growing as an individual and helping each other out. I really like this place and hope to watch my daughter grow into a better person and a better martial arts practitioner at this school for a long time.

Mechelle runs a wonderful taekwondo studio. Elizabeth has been attending for years and loves each class and sparring session. Each adult and child are treated with respect and dignity, while learning many more life lessons than just the art of fighting with taekwondo. She has expectations of behavior that maybe firm, but are extremely fair. If youre shopping for a martial art studio, you would do well to talk with her.

Awesome place to learn Taekwondo and become a better version of yourself. Everyone there helps each other grow and learn, both as martial artists and as people. Master Felsted truly cares about each student as an individual person, and encourages everyone around her to grow.

AMW has been the best program for my son. He has been in it for almost 2 years and in that time, his self-control, respect toward his elders, and personal fitness progress has skyrocketed. Mechelle and her assistant instructors care about each student. I recommend (and have several times) this martial arts academy to parents.

This is a very special place, where good work is done. Our 5-year-old studies under Master Felsted and I can’t recommend her classes enough. We tried some other places, but this is where we chose based on the important life lessons taught in addition to physical martial arts, and the discipline/respect she instills in those who learn with her. Messing around during class isn’t tolerated here - and I love that. Master Felsted is very real with the kids, very firm, yet has a gentle heart. She journals about kindness, and grit, with them. She pushes them to be their best. She’s inspiring! And I’m so glad the kids here have her influence in their lives.

I love this place! Miss Felsted is amazing and an inspiration! They teach the proper techniques of Taekwondo to set you up for success in your life, not just learning to fight for sport like other places. I would recommend it for anyone looking to become more structured, respectful, and athletic!

Ive been doing Taekwando with Master Felsted for four years now and I like how she instills discipline and respect in me and the rest of the students. She hold everyone accountable for their actions and doesnt accept excuses, which are great life lessons. I cant wait to get my black belt with Master Felsted!
