Im in 9th grade now. i started at Zion from the bottom, then i moved away in 3rd grade. i loved this school so much it was an amazing experience. i hope to come back soon. i wish i could have graduated middle school there.

We moved from California and searched for a Christian school in the Union/Florence area. Zion Christian is the perfect fit for our daughter. She is in the 1st grade and we know we made a great decision for her. She is surrounded by faculty who love her and want her to be successful in the classroom.

My family has had an excellent experience at Zion Christian Academy. We started my daughter in their kindergarten program with the expectation of moving her to public school the following year, but now cant envision her anywhere else! I work in an excellent elementary public school where Im fortunate to be able to compare schools with a true knowledge of how they run and are expected to operate. Zion has put my daughter far ahead of the kindergartners in the Northern Kentucky public school districts and has emphasized the importance of having a loving relationship with God, being kind to others, and using manners. She wakes up jumping out of bed to get to school on Chapel days and tells me how kind the staff is. They have been patient and have cared to get to know me and my husband as well. Among the many things that we love, she has PE everyday (usually outside), gets recess, learns cursive, and was able to read beginner level books by Christmas break! Her class size is much smaller than a public school setting as well, which makes her learning more personal and helps her class get through more curriculum.This is THE place to send your child if you want them to have an excellent education AND learn to socialize with respect and care for others. They will be loved and well-educated every step of the way! Highly recommend it!

Zion Christian Academy is a wonderful school. The staff & teachers truly care for each child. They want to see your child succeed just as much as you do.When my children are at school I know they are safe & very much cared for. My grandchildren both attend this school, it is amazing! The smaller classroom size allows individual attention when needed. The staff is very competent and loving to the students (& grandparents 🙂) The level of learning seems to quite advanced compared to that of the public school system, while adding the importance of spiritual aspects of life. The school is safe and secure which is something that all learning establishments needs to be focused on during these times. If you are in search of a private school which these attributes I would definitely recommend ZCA.

The teachers and staff are top-notch and really put their heart into teaching the kids. ZCA students get a well rounded education and grow academically, physically and spiritually. This school has a great atmosphere, feeling like you’re part of a family!

Zion Christian Academy is a fantastic school! My daughter is in her second year of preschool/daycare there and we LOVE it! This was her first school and daycare experience which we were very nervous about. All of the staff is so great that our nerves were immediately put to rest. If youre looking for a respectable, well ran preschool/daycare or private school that will teach your child academics along with good morals this is the place. You and your kids will love it!

I was unsure on if to send my Son to Kindergarten or hold him a year. A dear friend recommended Zion Christian Academy. I visited and was impressed with Zion Christian Academy. My son is now only one month away from graduating Kindergarten and I couldnt be any more pleased with Zion. Every aspect of this school is exemplary. My son has blossomed under their tutelage. He loves to go to school each and everyday!

As an alumni, Zion Christian Academy created a solid foundation for me and I am very grateful to be a part of this school. I highly recommend it!

As a single mother working full time, I struggled to find something full time for kindergarten. ZCA was up the street from us and was a better option than a daycare. I loved that they were teaching cursive and sign language, among other things. My son certainly did well here and he very much loved his teacher, who I also thought was wonderful.I do think they need to add more meal options. There should be an alternate meal offered if the child does not like the lunch being served. A child should not go hungry because they dont like what was being served. I would say keep up with the lunch menu they hand out and be sure to pack, otherwise your child will go hungry.Because Im giving an honest review, I will say the Director is nice, but she did make me feel a bit uncomfortable in the enrollment process. Before and during my sons testing, (to see if the was advanced enough to be accepted) she had stated a bit excessively that she didnt know how he would do and because he hadnt attended preschool that he may not be a good fit. It seemed awfully judgmental..All in all, I was pleased with the school. We are sad we cant continue his education there, as I am just not able to fit this in our budget any longer.I think that a faith based school should be an option for all income levels and it is unfortunate this is the reason he cant continue. I think the school should have some scholarship opportunities to help families with tuition.Overall, I do recommend ZCA. A few things to improve upon, but thats anywhere you go.Thanks for a great year.

Great school can’t say enough good things about it. The teachers and staff really care about our kids and have a heart to see them succeed in all areas. So glad we found this school.

There are a couple of great teachers whom, you really can feel the Spirit in and know that they love the Lord and their job. The administration on the other hand if you dont see eye to eye or agree with them they dont handle that so well. When I stated my children wouldnt just go on field trips I was told, no wonder you homeschooled. Like, that was a bad thing because I dont allow my children to ride with just anyone. I also was stolen from and expected to just forgive. I could go on, theres many things! I think its a good concept and has potential, just needs better leadership to organize and run the school.

Zion Christian academy is a very very wonderful school it is such a blessing to be apart of Zion Christian Academy my baby girl Nevaeh who is in second grade is learning so much and learning so much about God to hear her take a moment out in her day to pray and to thank God is so heartwarming The atmosphere is truly full of nothing but Gods grace I love walking in every morning its puts a smile on my face it feels so good being Surrounded by wonderful beautiful people.

What a fantastic school! My children received the best possible academic and spiritual foundation at ZCA. They excelled when they moved to higher education. The smaller class sizes created an optimal environment for learning and the staff is exceptional!

I had 3 children who attended ZCA. They received a great foundation to prepare them for life! I highly recommend this school!

My daughter is in the 1st grade at ZCA and absolutely loves it. I love ZCA too, it feels like a family and I can see my daughter growing and learning so enthusiastically! I attended ZCA from pre-k - 8th grade. Currently and for the past few years, I’ve worked within the public school system as a school-based, mental health therapist. During this time, I’ve realized how blessed I was to have had a private, Christian education that protected me from so many situations that other children experience on a daily basis. It’s a safe environment with teachers who truly care about their student’s well-benign. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I absolutely love ZCA if your looking for a school that challenge your child spiritually and in education this is the school. My childrens have attended ZCA for 2 yrs now and I am overly amazed by how much they are learning bible verses and how to read in kindergarten. The teachers are a true blessing I wouldnt place my childrens anywhere else but ZCA.

I have an experience at ZCA first as a student and now as a parent. When I was young, ZCA laid a foundation for me spiritually and relationally as many of the friends I made through my school years are still my close friends today. Also, knowing who I was in Christ from such a young age through the education I received at ZCA has been pivotal as I’ve become an adult. Now I’m fortunate enough to be able to send my daughter there! She loves all of her teachers and the new friends she’s made. It’s been such a blessing seeing her grow mentally and also all she’s learning about Jesus. I can honestly say my life would be drastically different if not for ZCA. For 12 years we entrusted our three boys’ education to Zion Christian Academy, in Florence, Ky.Our oldest son began in the four-year-old preschool in 2006. Today he takes classes at Northern Kentucky University as a junior in high school. ZCA delivered a firm foundation for the love of learning in him and instilled the foundations of Christianity as a guide for learning.The faculty and staff at ZCA worked diligently with my second son. He needed assistance learning. They let him go solo when he was ready. These actions reinforced that he can learn regardless of his situation and that he is not alone. Today he loves reading and enjoys writing book reports to express his views.Our youngest son recently graduated from ZCA and more than prepared for public school. He has the desire to try new experiences like baseball and basketball.ZCA means the world to our family, because the school has become apart of ours. The teachers were always willing to discuss our son’s development and where improvement was needed. Regardless of the situation, we knew how our boys were progressing. ZCA lays a solid foundation for the love of Jesus, while also providing a quality education with small student to teacher ratios. Our 4 boys have gone to ZCA since kindergarten and we plan to keep them there as long as possible. Because the class sizes are small, there is much opportunity to go and do more things outside of the classroom, which of course, stimulates growth and intellect. The teachers are A-mazing!! They treat each child with love and respect as if they were their own. We are thrilled that ZCA is now going through the 8th grade. We are very grateful to be a part of the ZCA family.

I have had both of my children in Zion Christian academy since preschool. They are now in 2nd and 6th grade. This is THE best learning environment I could ever have imagined. The teachers know each and every child at the school by name, and they love all of them. My only regret is that the school doesnt go past the 6th grade. I will have to find somewhere else to take them next year and I know I will not be able to find a group of teachers like this one anywhere else!
