Retired Teacher. I worked ten years in this building. Great staff who has always had to pull it together. New principal who has a challenge to bring the schools reputation back to a positive one and trust from parents.It takes a village to raise a child

I went to this school as a child. I was part of the Special Needs class in the small building just off to the side of the school with the black roof. There used to be a smaller set of playground equipment in the back where the hop-scotch is now.I am now 33 years old. I still tell many people of how great and tolerant the teachers I had were. They put up with a lot of my anti-social behavior and O.D.D. .It was also here when I had my first rounds of IQ tests where I scored 186. I ended up joining Mensa after leaving high school.At the time I was there, much was happening and changing but the teachers (except one of the 4th grade teachers who was horrible) were always there for me.I just wanna say thank you for helping me get started in life.

This school is extremely messy! No care for kids well being. No reaching out to parents. When theirs an issue, its handled like its nothing. They allow bullying & when the child whos bullied speak up, they get in trouble right allong with the ones whos causing trouble. Showing too much concern about your child aggervates them & they do not want to hear from you. So unprofessional and poorly ran. Did not have these many problems 2016/2017. Now, they allow messy situations and finds excuses for them. Its really sad

My kid does go here but we live really close. They have a nice playground for kids.

I uses to go to this school Kdg through 4th but now I go to Griffith Elementary but I loved it

If I didnt have to rate with I star I wouldnt but my daughters and two other kids got into it on the bus and my kids are the only ones suspended other kids nothing done ... principal is a liar she says she hasnt take to me at all about this situation which I did several times she says she was gonna be on bus and never once ms Thompson talk to me on phone and she told me between u and me she is showing favorites to the one kids then when confronted about it she lied to my face they had me removed from school by cops cauze I stated same to me like this is some bs and I demanded for answers I have been waiting for days for answers my daughter is suspended foe 10 days with hearing and the principal told her it is time for me to get u out this school and lied about it when confronted this principal is a liar she can not be trusted ...
