As a first time mom I had a lot of feelings around putting my daughter in daycare, and wanted to find a facility that I felt would not only meet her every day needs but would love and nurture her. Goddard exceeded my expectations. I started my daughter at this school when she was 6 months old, and from day one it felt like she was a part of the Goddard family. On top of the daily pictures and detailed reports about the day, her teacher made an effort to step outside and check in with me at least weekly and this meant the world to me as due to Covid we werent allowed in the building yet (now we are :)). They worked with my daughter on the schedule that I had asked them to follow and I was thrilled and astonished as I watched her thrive and learn so much! With each transition to the next classroom as she got older she continued to grow and thrive. I cannot say enough good things about this school. It is RARE to find teachers and administrators who truly and genuinely love your kids.

Both of our kids have been attending this school for almost three years now. I cannot tell you how amazed we have been with with everything. From their attention to detail when it comes to safety, the staff they hire and the incredible activities they plan for the kids on a daily basis. They have different themed days every week and our son gets so excited to dress up in whatever the weeks theme is. I was also incredibly impressed with their response to COVID. While the world around us seemed to be acting irrational, they were making well thought out practical decisions while maintaining a level of safety that keep us considered parents comfortable. If you are looking for child care in the Folsom/El Dorado Hills area, look no more!

Hello All! I would love to write a little something here, but also check out the Yelp reviews for Goddard Folsom as well! My daughter has been here for almost 2 years and it is amazing. Just recently my daughters teacher Ms. Grace came out of the school when I showed up to pick my kiddo up (wearing a mask) to introduce herself. It was the sweetest gesture. This past year has presented challenges, and to keep everyone safe parents no longer enter in to the school. Goddard has gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of the families. I used to work in biotech, and I was blown away with the measures and standards that Goddard Folsom was establishing to keep everything clean and safe. That being said, those usual daily pick up chats are not as common. During our chat I was able to express my concerns for monitoring my daughters emotional growth. Ms. Grace said she would gladly keep an extra eye on that aspect and reminded me that I could call or message her on the Tadpole app anytime. It means the world to me that Goddards teachers make genuine connections with the children but also their parents. I love this place!!! Thank you for all you do Goddard Dream Team!

Goddard Folsom is an amazing place full of teachers who take the anxiety out of leaving your kid at daycare. Our toddler heads to school with excitement and comes home with new skills, words, songs, and tricks every day. I never worry about her when she is there. I am happy, I know she is learning and shes happy. What else is there? Go, Goddard!

My Daughter has attended the Goddard school for over two years now and hands down the best school we could have her attend. As a parent there are few individuals that you trust with your Children. Since day one attending the Goddard school she has been taken care of by the best and we could not be more thankful for all the staff that treat her as their own. She absolutely loves her school and gets excited to go! The Goddard school gives the feel that we are one big Family. My Daughter has advanced so much since attending and keeps advancing. They take education serious and make it fun for the kids. I would recommend the Goddard school to any parent that wants the best education, fun activities and a loving atmosphere for your Child. I am so very thankful my Daughter is having this amazing experience.

When I set out to enroll my son in preschool I was uneasy (to say the least). He had been home with either myself or a nanny for years. I toured several facilities in Folsom and still didn’t feel like I found the right fit for my active 2 year old. One of my friends suggested that I check out The Goddard School, and I’m SO incredibly happy I did! I knew from the moment I walked in, that this school was different than any of the other school I had visited in the past. The children were all laughing, smiling and genuinely having fun. The facility is safe, secure and spotless. The teachers were very interactive and outgoing. It feels so good knowing that my son is in such good care when I am at work! I receive daily activity reports and photos of my son’s activities so I’m able to talk to him about what he did at school that day. He shows me his new yoga poses, new songs, etc. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to enroll our son at The Goddard School in Folsom!

Both of my children attend this school and love it! The curriculum is second to none and the creativity it inspires is unmatched. My 4 Year olds vocabulary and application of knowledge is proof that the curriculum truly works. Play based learning is a great way to involve and develop children simultaneously. Besides this - the school is clean, the staff is friendly and the snacks provided are both tasty and healthy! The detailed daily reports and updates are very convenient especially for parents with demanding work schedules/personal lives. I love knowing what my children learned (weekly theme) what activities they engaged in, how long they slept each day and what they ate just by reading an email. In a world where children are more sedentary than they ever have been, I like that Goddard provides my kids with exercise. Not to mention the teachers capture pictures of all the activities too, thats awesome! I dont have enough good things to say about this school.... a school, where my children learn more each and every day!

My wife and I have been EXTREMELY happy with the Goddard School thus far. Living in Folsom and very near the school, weve been waiting patiently for it to open and when it did in January, we did not hesitate signing up our infant daughter for daycare. She LOVES it. We LOVE it. She gets a TON of attention each and every day and both of us are much more relaxed during the day knowing she is getting tip-top care from the Goddard School. We love getting pictures sent to us daily as well as the Daily Activity Report we receive via email at the end of the day that outlines everything our daughter did that day. Im not kidding when I say that if I could give 10 Stars, I would.

After my daughter attended 2 other schools that I wasnt happy with for various reasons, I was defeated in finding the right fit for my child. I was recommended to The Goddard School by a parent from a former school and she raved about how wonderful her and her childrens experiences had been. I am elated to have found a school that prioritizes the well being and learning environment of the children . They have efficient means of communicating the daily activities of the children through a parent portal and emails. The owner of the school is on premise daily and then some. They have a wonderful administrative staff who are available throughout the day and the teachers are extremely dedicated. The business is well run and I cant say enough great things about The Goddard School!

My rating is based on our most current experience, though we’ve been with this school for about a year and a half. Our child is about to graduate from the infant program, which is one of the programs referenced often in the recent contentious reviews. It’s true that there were several staff changes, which we too were very concerned by, because our child had to get used to the new teacher each time. The owner respectfully listened and took our concerns seriously; overall, she handled the staff changes well, with clear communication. Most importantly, staffing is stable now; our son is loving his current teachers and thriving. As parents, we sincerely hope that the school remains dedicated to striving for continuous improvement so our son and his schoolmates all continue to flourish in a happy and healthy environment. We’re expecting a newborn next year, and are pleased by the quality of current teachers – very flexible, loving, and knowledgeable about early childhood development. We’re looking forward to having him join the Goddard infant program next year!

The Goddard school is the best preschool and toddler program in Folsom. We recently moved to Folsom from the Bay Area. We toured 10+ schools and Goddard was by far the best for their STEAM based curriculum and environment. I have two children, one in pre-k and one in the toddler classroom. The pre-k program curriculum is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. My son is learning yoga, Spanish, reading, writing, typing, coding, science, math and still has time for imaginative play. He absolutely loves going to school everyday. On top of all that, they have visitors like dentists, musicians, artists, and others to inspire the children. It’s incredible. Oh and there’s also chess club! I feel confident my son will be more than ready for kindergarten. The toddler program is equally impressive. My son is exposed to daily singing and reading. He explores his senses and motor skills with different art and science projects. And in the summer they have splash days which the kids love! The teachers are loving and attentive which is perfect for my toddler. The Goddard School goes above and beyond with activities to bring families together. They have a holiday choir performance, a Valentine’s dance and Halloween trunk or treat event. This has helped us build community and meet new friends!Kaylee is a fantastic owner. She is committed to our children’s education and has hired a team of directors and teachers that care about every student. We highly recommend The Goddard School.

My son started here on short notice due to my previous situation ending abruptly. It ended up being the best thing we could have done for our son and I wish I would have started him sooner.Within two months he has learned 5 sign language signs and can communicate his needs to us. He has gotten into a regular nap schedule and he is so stimulated through out the day he now sleeps through the night. The teachers are far more than babysitters. They create lesson plans and activities to help develope these little ones. You can tell they genuinly care about these kids and love their jobs. It is worth every penny!! The Owner, Kaylee, is always open for conversation and she is so easy to talk to. Plus she loves kids! You’ll frequently see her interacting with them and checking in on the classrooms. You can tell this job is her passion which makes every parent feel confident in dropping off their kids. I am so happy with the Goddard school and I hope to keep my son and future children enrolled there for as long as they can be.

DONT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE! YOUR CHILD WILL BE IN DANGER. Read the one star reviews! They are true! This school is CONSTANTLY OUT OF RATIO because the owner is too cheap to hire more teachers. This school has CONSTANT TEACHER TURNOVER because the owner is horrible to work for. This school is employs TEMP AGENCY STAFF because the owner cant find any qualified staff that would want to work there. This school employs MINORS WITH NO TRAINING as indicated by the most recent licensing visit. This school may look pretty, but the owner Kaylee has no idea how to run a preschool and is a complete TWO FACED LIAR. Do not believe a word she says or her phony act. Her parents gave her the school. If you want to know the truth, visit the CA Dept. of Social Services Website and look up this school. They HAVE BEEN SITED NUMEROUS TIMES for multiple type A violations, which are the most serious. Most recent report found here - (apparently i cant attach the linkbut please google - CA child care licensing facility search to find this school)...My child went there and I thank god we made it out safe. I hope Goddard Corporate takes this school over and revokes franchise licensing for Kaylee Agaman.Updated review after the owner posted her response: Yes, Kaylee I changed my public name on this post because after dealing with you for months I know how psycho you are and do not want to deal with your passive-aggressive wrath as a result of my VERY ACCURATE portrayal of your school. How can you say that you care about children - all people have to do is read the multiple reports on the CA Child Care Licensing website to see how you really run the school. Stop all the CYA and realize how you treat parents, staff and children!!

This school is a sham. I had my child enrolled in this school and it was the biggest mistake I have ever made. The owner will sweet talk you and tell you what she thinks you want to hear but everything out of her mouth is a lie. Dont fall for it. Kaylee (owner) can not keep teachers and has constant turnover which is not good for young children. She hires substitutes from a temp agency. These subs are inconsistent and the only thing consistent about them is that they are always being used. They have no clue about the program and are seriously a warm body in the classroom to met regulations. A family that had their child in my childs class was fed food he was allergic to. Im talking about life threatening allergies. So serious that he has epi-pens for these allergies. The owner and her parents (co-owners) do not care about the children or their staff and it shows in how they run the school, the decisions they make, and how they treat people. Money is what matters to them. Money is so important to them that they count out 5 pretzels as a snack for a child and if that child is still hungry then oh well thats all they get. They are only willing to provide the minimum required so they can pocket the rest. I could seriously go on and on about the expierence my child and family had there. If you love your child and want them in the best hands possible while your away then DO NOT enroll your precious child at this school.

The school has had a very large turnover, it hasnt been open for a year. They have Temp service employees a lot they are charging you for a convenience and perks that they will not be able to accommodate. The school now has its second Director and they havent been open for 12 months, for the money its going to cost you, I would get a nanny. Most of the employees there are looking for a different job because they are over worked and paid wages only becoming of an educated fool. So I am sorry I have nothing positive to say about the Goddard school. Thank you for your response but I stick with my review if I had more hands Id give you more thumbs down and my review is from the inside not the outside looking in you have no ECE background and it shows. I have seen one of your teachers (Kristina) treat a child in a manner that is not appropriate. The teachers act one way while the parents are there and another way, when they are not. Lets face it you are in your office worrying about filling up a school that needs a lot more thanks for saying how you feel. PARENTS DONT PUT YOUR CHILDREN IN A SCHOOL WITH TEACHERS WHO ARE NOT EMPATHETIC. A OWNER WHO HAS NO IDEA WHAT IT MEANS TO BE A PARENT. I WORKED IN THE SCHOOL AND I WOULD NEVER BRING MY BABY IN A CLASS WHERE THE INFANTS SCREAM ALL DAY BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT GETTING THE PROPER CARE YOU THINK THEY ARE. KAYLEE PLEASE LOOK AT YOURSELF AND MAKE YOUR SCHOOL A BETTER PLACE FOR THE WORLD. BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT A PARENT YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND HOW HARD IT IS TO LEAVE YOUR CHILDREN WITH STRANGERS. IN A SCHOOL WHO CHARGES YOU FOR EVERYTHING.

Im a stay at home mom who was looking for part time care for my toddler. The academic structure and teaching philosophy was one of my top priorities. Again, putting my daughter in school is a luxury since I can easily just be at home with her. Given this, I was extremely picky during my search for the proper setting for her. I investigated around 15 different options and narrowed it down to four schools. After touring all of them (extensively) I was certain that The Goddard School was the best option, by far. Its a new school in Folsom (there are over 400 across the country though) and the environment is FANTASTIC! Immaculate and inviting doesnt come close to doing it justice. The playgrounds (there are two) absolutely blew away any of the other playgrounds that I saw during my other tours. As for the staff - the owner, Kaylee, and Director, Nancy, are TOP NOTCH. Seriously. My daughter adores them and they take time out of their busy day to spend time with her. My daughters teacher, Sara, is warm and genuinely excited to develop the kids skills. Not only does my daughter get hugs the second she walks in but I do too! I love that it feels like shes with family when shes away from me.The icing on the cake though is that I feel like they truly care for my daughter. For example, there are days when I drop her off that she starts to cry. This is common for little ones just starting in a new environment. They make sure that she gets extra attention until she feels comfortable. Many times that has meant that Kaylee or Nancy themselves are in my daughters room playing with her or taking her for a walk to visit other rooms.I couldnt be happier with the choice to send my daughter to The Goddard School in Folsom.

Kaylee is a Liar. DO NOT LET your child attend this school. Super high turnover ( my son had three different head teachers in less then 3 months), Kaylee WILL lie to your face and roll her eyes at you. She will not replace outside toys and only gives 5 mini pretzels as a snack. She also wont be honest with you why people are leaving or are not happy then act like nothing is wrong and it is what it is. You will have to call corporate to get anything done as Kaylee is to young and does not have enough experience to run a school. The only reason she is a director is because her parents own a franchise in Reno and bought her one here. Half the time she wont even be there and when stuff needs to be handled she calls her parents in to deal with you. Highly unprofessional.

My son attended the Goddard school for six months and I can honestly say this school is a big sham. When you first tour its definitely a high pressure sales pitch with huge smiles and false promises. Although the facility is new and beautiful, some of the teachers and especially the owner (shadiest woman Ive ever met) are horrible. I concur with the previous review that describes the school. (I have heard from other parents that the owner actually begged parents to start writing good reviews to counter the poor one because she unsuccessfully tried to get it removed!) Fact: the owner DOES bring in random temp employees to care for your children. So dont think your child will always have the same teacher. You wont be notified and one day youll walk in to find a stranger with a name tag with a dazed look trying to figure out the classroom. Why would a parent pay the highest childcare fees in all of Folsom to have a temp employee stranger looking after their child? And since this person is a temp, theyre clearly not trained on the Goddard curriculum so again why would a parent pay top dollar? Very disturbing. And speaking of fees, a parent that still has their child attend informed me that now they are charging a ridiculous registration and sunscreen fee (and hounding parents for it)?? How much sunscreen can three year old use? Parents were given LESS than 30 days notice of this fee and a lot of parents are fed up. And $5 pizza day? Again, how does a three year old eat $5 worth of Little Caesars pizza (which is the whole pizza!)? Now lets talk about the teachers. Most have the minimum ECE units (four classes) to care for children and turnover IS HIGH. So again, your children will not really bond or have stability with anyone because the teachers are constantly changing. Only one teacher per class has a degree, which is fine but just dont be fooled that all do. Honestly, Im not sure how some of these teachers even made it past the interview as they are so low energy and unenthusiastic with the children. Oh yes, because they were interviewed by the owner who has ZERO background in childcare/development and herself cant even be in the rooms as a teacher. To be fair, there are a couple of teachers that are outstanding, but they move around so often that its a treat when you get a good one. Do yourself a favour, look around Folsom there are many childcare options that are A LOT less expensive and where your children are TRULY educated and loved because at this school it is ALL about the bottom line for the owner. This is a true review - not one coerced by the owner just to make her look good.REVISION:Notice the owner does not dispute the use of temp minimum wage employees! And no, parents are NOT notified that a temp random person will be in your childs classroom. ALSO - GLENN SAVARD IS OWNERS UNCLE!!! HIS REVIEW IS NOT REAL. HE LIVES IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AND NEVER HAD A TODDLER AT THE GODDARD FOLSOM! More proof that the owner is not to be trusted and has no ethics. Go ahead Google him and Magda Savard.

My 3 year old grandson was unsupervised and left the secure confines of the school and was found by a stranger. Ask Kaylee about what happened on February 11, 2019. As a result the State of California Licensing Board sanctioned Goddard. By law they must disclose this information upon request.
