I trained for my cdl at TDA in Fontana. I work full time and was only able to come in once a week. They are very flexible and will work with your schedule. Taking their trucking classes is a good investment that will open many doors for your career. You go at your own pace but if you ask an instructor for help theyll help you out. I felt very comfortable with the instructors. The more effort you put into your training, the more youll get from it. I recommend it.

Aside that i had an advantage that my father is a truck driver, all the staff here are patient and professional. They will make it their business to help you get your driver license. They will be patient will you and give you the guide to pass your test. Good luck

Today I looked to see if I had a response to my review and it was removed.Frank is giving private lessons to a female student at 6:30am. I seen him taking off with her in the mornings in his personal truck up truck. I seen him in the back off the truck with her coming out of the same side. I’m sure there doing things. I have ask for help a lot of time and no one wants to help me. I told them I want me money back and the told me I was only going to get $300 back. Frank likes to cover everything by telling you don’t worry I can fix it.He does not fix noting do not sign up to this school. This school is junk. I’m sure there going to remove this review.

I go to Baldwin park school. I’m sick and tired of not being helped. Today I asked Heavy set guy for the pre trip this guy tells me to sit down in front of him and talks about other thing but. Not the pre trip. What in the world is that!!!! This guys only worry about the girls that go to this school. There is a review on here that tells you the same thing in Spanish. Every time I ask for help everyone is always busy. This school is always understaffed. I paid so much money for this school to not be helped?

I had a wonderful experience in this amazing school! I have passed my DMV test in 6 weeks. Btw, I have started with NO experience on driving a truck. My experience here was absolutely fantastic. The staff are very attentive and make sure that you understand whatever the subject is before they move you on. Plenty of trucks on the yards so no one is waiting for too long to practice. Whenever I had any questions they were more than happy to answer in detail. ALL of the instructors made it a point to learn your name as quickly as possible which was nice and showed that they actually care. Tony is a master of Air Brakes, extremely attentive and a very good instructor. Erick and Mark taught me the fundamentals that got me through the whole process, also very attentive. Charlie was extremely patient teaching me how to drive, which was greatly appreciated as well. You can actually feel that the instructors care about your success here, you arent just another student to them. There is no limit to their patience. I passed my exam! I’m so thankful for the great instructors. Everyone, including the office staff, were always so nice. I met some awesome people and made some great connections. You have to do your part but they give you the tools and training to succeed. If I had to do it all over again, I’d pick this school!

From day 1 Frank asked me questions about my driving skills. I was looking to upgrade from class b to class a. He covered pricing sheet and asked questions I would need to pass after pointing me in to the right direction. I was impressed how flexible they were with your schedule. Some say they are but not here. You immediately start learning skills while getting your permit. After receiving your permit and updated medical you begin behind the wheel training. I knew how to drive stick but I was thought how to successfully pass test with double clutching a 10speed. Easier than you think. Passed on first try. Thank you office team and training staff for everything. If you decide to give them a try and dont know what is your next step you may receive a job offer there or referral program where recruiters come to school. Good luck , key word Patience.

This school had the best prices around, great study materials to get my permit and pass all inspection skills for my commercial driving test, and had patient and skilled instructors to help perfect my maneuver skills test as well. I definitely recomend this school if your looking for a great bang for your buck experience. For more than 54 days they don’t want to refund the money after deducting $700 for 2 hours of training. I canceled because of the following: 1-long waiting time until you find a truck available, 2-Very old trucks,3- Only 1 trainer for more than 4 students.They are very nice until they get they money which took them 1 minute to charge the credit card and months with out refunding it. I have been calling every day to get my refund with out getting no response. I can share all they messages if any body will need it. In any way i will despite the full charge but i don’t want them to do the same thing with anybody else.My advice Go to one of the schools that can offer less hours but more care and newer trucks. don’t not waste your time and money.

I just obtained my cdl from truck driving academy. This was a fun experience for me because I always wanted to operate a big rig. This school offers right away hands on experience with the big rigs and trailer. They offer a open schedule if you work or cant make it in on a set schedule. If you are serious about this carrier, EVC is the place to come. They have a great program if you want to obtain your CDL. It’s a Really Good school Instructors are cool. Overall the School is great. The only down fall is once you pass your Test. You have to wait About 2 mouths Two receive you class A license. Or for it to Transition from class C to class A in Sacramento, to be honest it took to long.

Charlie gave us a proper tour of the yard before and made sure all questions were answered. Within 3 and half weeks I got my class A at the dmv. They were flexible about the hours and had plenty of trucks. If its busy study your pre trip inspection or air brakes because you have to know that verbatim.

I did my research with all the schools in the Inland Empire before I chose a school to attend and I’m very glad that I chose this one. They accommodate you and work around your work schedule and the staff is very friendly and patient. The instructors give you good feedback and give good tips to help you improve and learn. I mostly worked with instructors Chris and Charlie and they are both excellent instructors that are very patient and make the experience pleasant. Frank is the director and the one I met when first inquiring. He was very helpful in answering all my questions about the school and showing me around before I decided to sign up. They are professional and very good at what they do. I would recommend East Valley College/Truck Driver Academy to anyone wanting an established and well organized school to get their class A.

I would not recommend this school to anyone. The trucks that students use on the yard are in horrible condition. The A/C doesn’t work in all of them and most of the windows don’t let down either. They are dusty and not clean.The seats are torn up. And the gear shifters don’t work properly. Door handles don’t work.A nightmare. I just want my money back.And If you aren’t bilingual Spanish and English speaking this is definitely not the school for you because most of the instructors do not speak good English. Their words are not clear and they can’t explain the curriculum to you in English. You will have to figure it out for yourself. I’m super disappointed. If I could give this school a 0 star I would.

Honestly glad I chose to come here to learn. the instructors at the school were awesome. they actually take the time to teach and give tips on how to pass the test. I was able finally learn how to drive Manuel. even the beautiful women in the front office were always nice and courteous. the best thing about everything is being able to come in and actually learn what am suppose to learn with out having to feel like am wasting my time. they actually offer in house testing so that reliefs the stress of being tested by someone you dont know. but overall I had a really great experience.

My husband graduated from this school first and since he had a very good experience, I took this school also and very satisfied with the service they offer. This is a good school to go to. They stick with you till the end to make sure you receive your license. They are flexible with schedules and work hard to make sure you learn what you have to learn. 100 percent hands on so if your a hands on type of person this is the school for you. People there a super friendly. They helped with with payment options so its not all at front for those of you that dont have all the cash at once. Really good school if your a fast learner you will have your license in no time.

I just passed my test yesterday and couldnt have done it without the help of all the instructors here I highly recommend this school. The instructors are very knowledgeable and give you all the help and tools you need, not only to pass the test but to be a good truck driver Dont waste your time anywhere else this is the school to attend!
