I love The Academy of South FL, Fort Lauderdale (FTL) campus. It’s family environment and the understanding, plus training that they provide pushes you to want to learn and grow as a person. We must keep and protect this location at all costs!

They were very diligent in assisting me to obtain training. They were also relentless in helping me with my job search.Although I dealt with several different people, they all seem to display the same level of respect, professionalism, and gumption to help you through until the end.

I was lucky to find out about The Academy. The instructors are knowledgeable, professional and care that the students grasp the material. The office managers,staff, employment counselors, directors also care, are personable and always make themselves available for any questions and concerns a student might have.

The Academy is a Technical school that prepares students to make a breakthrough in the information technology field or continue their education. The school provide ongoing hands-on training while student prepare to become certified. The Academy’s professors are knowledgable, communicative and supportive.

Had the chance to speak with Rodney, and I was truly impressed on how much he cared. I was at my lowest he spoke to all of us at the Salvation army. On how it was opportunities for us to get back on our feet. I truly believe it’s a blessing for me. Starting process of and I cant wait to change my life. He came to the salvation army knowing we didn’t have any money and he could’ve went anywhere he 100!

Great school and awesome resources! the admission process was very easy and the counselors were patient and are really polite. Knowledgeable instructors that make sure you understand the material to give you the best chance to succeed and pass your exams. The career services representatives are TOP NOTCH! Constantly keeps the students updated on new jobs that are available and even goes as far as to refer you and give prospective employers your resume and contact info to give you an edge on the competition. One of the best decisions I could’ve made for my future.

Went to this location for a test.Being my father recently passed from covid I was insured everything was ok and they have taken all measures. But as I walk in I’m greeted by a young lady with no mask, I figured ok she will put on but the entire time she kept it off as well as she calls your name and stand by door now I have to walk pass her in close contact with no mask . All I was thinking about taking test was I hope this wasn’t a bad idea. Beware if your concern of help issues employees or the employees does not ware mask talks loud and laughs with no concerns.

I would like to thank Ms. Carrion for all of her support because of her endless phenomenal service and experience it has help me keep striving for excellence. The Academy for me was a solution for success from there support staff to the invaluable training professionals they are true here for you .

As a seasoned professional I was able to find the time during this pandemic to invest in getting certifications I had been meaning to obtain.So far so good. Im past half the program and Ive had a great experience with the entire staff scheduling my classes and certification test, looking to position me on a job opportunity and in general with the rest of the staff.I will recommend if you the time invest in yourself, find a program that fits your career path and take advantage of the opportunity.

This vocational technical school offers amazing training and great value. their instructors are thorough professionals who have a great grasp of the materials and who are subject matter experts. After graduating they will help place you in contact with local employers who are hiring technology professionals. Great experience for me. I recommend them very highly!

The Academy is an excellent school, The admission process was very easy and the counselor (Whitney for me) was very knowledgeable and was willing to talk through everything with me to make sure I was on the right track. If you are looking for a place to start a career in IT, The Academy is the place to start. I am currently enrolled in their Cloud and Security Administrator program which has been a great experience so far. The instructors know what theyre doing and the help from the staff is 5 starts. I recommend this school to anyone looking to redefine their career in order to adjust to this hard times.

The instructors, they really know their stuff, and are unselfish with sharing inside tricks of the trade to advance your understanding. My instructors were available after class, on the weekends and after I finished their course. The job placement and testing assistance was awesome, they constantly send job offers and assist you with your resume.

I have been a student in Project Management Professional (PMP) program at the Academy of South Florida from March to May 2020. The Academy offers great services to the students; the trainers are very qualified to do the trainings, the evaluation exams are rigorous and at the same level of the certification exam you are preparing. I am PMP certified now and this is partly because I took the class at the Academy. Besides, upon completion of the program they help you find new opportunities through their network so that you can enter the labor market easily. I highly recommend this place.

Ive trained here twice, once in 2011 and now in 2020 and the education you receive is superb! My experience with The Academy has been good. Instructors were helpful whenever I needed assistance.

The Academy has a fast-paced curriculum that is best suited for people with prior knowledge of IT who want to earn their certifications. As someone with no experience, I found the courses challenging. I took A+, Net+, Security+, MCSE, MCSA, and CCNA. Although I did well in my classes, I only felt confident enough to get my A+ Certification. It took a lot of studying outside of class to prepare for the exam. The courses were too short to really retain anything for someone starting from a non-technical background. The staff and teachers are very friendly and helpful. Looking back, I think I would have enjoyed a different program like coding instead of learning about computer hardware and networking. I am thankful for my time there. I really learned a lot.

Everything from the enrollment, instructors, and job assistance have been great! Special shoutout to Marcelle, she is amazing and diligent at what she does!

Started the course during the pandemic, so have not been able to go to the school class room for a full experience. Taking my courses online and the teacher I have so far is very informative of the subjects in my classes.

Great school to jump start career in IT

Amazing experience.The instructor Al Arruda is fantastic, very knowledgeable and helpful. Lakisha is an angel. I highly recommend them. It’s by far the best computer class I had.

The process of applying and getting excepted was very easy. Courses were very hands on and all 4 of my instructors were very knowledgeable and was willing to help me one on one with parts of the class I struggled with. They also allow me to take any of the four classes Ive taken already as many times as I feel like I need to make sure I am ready for my certification exams. The Academy of South Florida only sets you up for success.

This school has been the greatest institution I ever attended.The architecture program is strong and intense. Obviously anyone who pursues a degree in Arc should already know its all up to how you manage your education and learn and how much time you are willing to dedicate to it, NOT up to the instructors.

Took an excel class for work here and learned ALOT! I feel so much more comfortable with Excel and overall the class went by relatively quick. Take notes because its a lot to remember. Highly recommend!

My instructor was so sweet and helpful. She gave out her personal number for questions and advice outside of the cram course-- now thats an instructor who truly cares for your successes!

Decent IT Training program with knowledgeable instructors.

I was approved for classes here back in 2016. I took 5 courses (Comptia/A+, Network +/MCSA/MCSE/CCNA) and learned more about the IT field then I probably wouldve ever knew. I met Latika and the Academy staff who were more than helpful during my journey. The campus is clean and a bit smaller from then when I was enrolled. They even offered me a internship after I completed my courses. Overall id recommend The Academy to anyone trying to pursue a IT career.

What a joke. After giving my wife the wrong exam, they now claim it is her fault. Then they call back 1/2 hour before she is going to take the correct exam to say they dont even offer that particular exam in the first place. Gee, but you did two weeks ago when she registered for it. Thieves.

They really take the time and invest serious effort in education. Well done!

I was part of the AAP (Applied Architect Program) at the Fort Lauderdale location and I must say it was a great experience. I learned alot and the environment at the school is very positive.

Very unhappy,Matthew arranged an appointment at 8am,and i been waiting for him an hour ,how is this even close to professionalism??Bad bad bad

This is one of the worst learning experiences ever. I went for the CEH bootcamp. Very expensive, cost me $2495 and I basically wasted all of it. The instructor (J.C.) was the worst in the security field, he just read of off his personal notes and thats it. The web is full of much more informative CEH vidoes. The first try for the exam didnt go well. I was allowed one retake, which was exactly the same exam which totally confused me. I am a developer, this was my first attempt into the security field, so that is why I went for an actual class setup. I recommend other avenues to go for the CEH exam. The are not reimbursing me and they only offered me to sit for the class again. I already used up 5 vacation days from my work to sit for the first boot camp.
