It is with deep sadness and regret that I find myself writing this review. We have been with the Astrid Audet Academy of Ballet and more for 6 years and 95% of the time we were content.Ms. Astrid Audet and her fellow instructors are phenomenal dancers and are very good at what they do. However, Ms. Astrid is completely unprofessional in her handling of situations outside the world of instruction.She is very discriminatory in how she purports herself not only to certain parents but if she is dissatisfied with something she will take it out on the kids sometimes in a direct way but mostly indirectly.We should not expect that an 11 year old can filter out topics that probably should not be discussed in a studio or school environment. A girl of equal age asked my daughter if she knew what the movie Dear Evan Hansen was about, to which she answered the subject included and was about suicide. The little girl then asked her what that meant and my daughter didn’t reply. The conversation was overheard by an adult who then brought it to the attention of Ms. Astrid.Ms Astrid brought my daughter and niece together and when discussing the situation, did so in a very unprofessional tone, cutting them off and not allowing them to explainI wrote her an email, very lengthy & detailed, apologizing for the incident & any hardship that may have occurred with all affected. However, I did not apologize for my daughter’s action as I don’t expect her to filter something she hasn’t been told to filter yet, meanwhile she simply answered a question.I waited 24 hours, I followed up with a callI waited 5 more days & wrote a 2nd email, followed up with a call same night.I sent a final email terminating our relationship and asked for confirmation, no response.I called the same night and left a message and FINALLY got an email.You’ve been removed and won’t be charged.The lack of response is completely and utterly unprofessional as a director and her team to blatantly ignore a parents request to speak because a topic was mentioned that she obviously is very uncomfortable with.Think twice before enrolling, do you value yourself and your child less than the value you put on your childs instruction in the art of dance? they should be equal, but one should NOT be more than the other.In this incident I chose to value ourselves over the value of Ms. Astrids instruction.

Fun for little tots to teens and even offers classes for adults. The recitals are top notch. Highly recommend Astrid Audet Academy of Ballet!

My Daughters have attended numbers of dance academies with my daughter Meagan attending Miamis New World school of the Arts and Joffery Dance Academy. I truly believe that Meagan is reaching such heights because of the professional integrity, dedicated teachings and honest evaluations of each performers growth. In one word Astrid and her staff are ( Comfort ). Comfort in knowing that my children could not be in better hands. Knowing Astrid will in a strong but loving manner exhibit what a true performer looks like, and that your young artist can with dedicated effort achieve that same pinnacle.

My 3 year old is enrolled in to classes, she absolutely loves it! highly recommend.

We enjoy the time we were there. Miss Astrid and her team very professional and wonderful experience for our daughter. We are always very thankful for the care for our daughter and teaching. We left because we need to move to another state but definitely we recommend the ballet studio to anyone want experiencia a professional and care place.

What makes an academy great. When the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Our daughter started dance for the love of it and to help her overcome some physical awkwardness. Because the Audet Academy has an interest in more than your childs dance ability, they were able to transform our daughter from an awkward child into a dancer that was accepted to the Rock School in Philadelphia. More importantly, our daughter never lost her love for dance and to this day enjoys every minute of it. She has been accepted to a number of universities for both dance and academics. It is my belief that the Audet Academy played a significant role in her overall success. I would highly recommend the school,

My daughter started pre ballet here in the 2-3 yr old. class and we love it! Everyone is so nice & professional. My daughter was nervous at first but each week got easier to go in alone & now she loves ballet, Miss Francys, & all her new friends. Looking forward to the recital and taking more classes in the future!

The Astrid Audet Academy is a gem. My seven year old daughter takes five different classes there each week and cant get enough of it. It is amazing to me how quickly she is able to progress at this school. The teachers are very professional and engaging. I am very happy for my daughter.

My three girls love this academy. They have a wonderful variety of dance classes from classical ballet, jazz, tap, acro, and gymnastics. It’s great to have one place that offers so many options with such kind and talented teachers.

The floor is to Old and a lot of dust every where, you cant see your kid practicing.In the pictures looks nice and professional but they have to clean the floors Specialist if you kid sets on the floor

Super professional !!!! My 8 years old loves this school and made so much progress in few months. She spent two months at the summer camp, and now she is doing 5 classes a week! As a Mum, I m totally in confidence because Astrid and her team are very concerned about security, and social distancing. Five stars dance school !!!!!!

My daughter has been going to Astrid’s for several years now and absolutely loves it. I am so grateful she found a place she can learn about dance and acro and watch her grow in her passion for the art. The teachers are very dedicated and patient with the girls. Highly recommend!

My 3 yr old daughter started attending Pre-Ballet back in January. This summer we have been attending dance camp and she couldnt be happier! Everyone at Astrid is kind & professional: I highly recommend giving them a try. The studio provides a wonderful experience for kids including physical activity, creativity, structure, and socialization.

We love it here so much we drive 40 minutes. My daughter is on her 4th year here and she has grown so much as a dancer. It’s more than a dance studio... it’s family for us. Highly recommended

What a wonderful dance academy! I highly recommend it. Ms. Audet and all the teachers are amazing. They really enjoy teaching the students and are excellent at it. They instruct dance so well and teach techniques clearly that my child learns so much. The shows are out-of-this-world too. Plus the staff is so organized and courteous. We love this place.

My 6 year old daughters love Astrid’s and all of their teachers. There is a great kindness and compassion with all the families who attend the dance school. They offer a wide variety of classes and other great programs like camps and parents night out. I’d recommend anyone interested to try out one of their free classes and see for yourself!

Both of my daughters dance at Astrid Audet. We feel so lucky to have found a studio that is not only making them beautiful dancers and helping them find a passion and love for dance, but more importantly is building a community of respectful, determined, hard working and goal oriented girls.

My daughter thoroughly enjoyed her classes. Even though the season was interrupted by covid-19, not a beat was missed as the company moved swiftly to Zoom and acclimated the girls to the new way of class.Very clean space, very good staff, and the communication was clear and good.

Our daughter started Astrid Audet Academy of Dance as a bashful 4 yr old. She is now a dedicated, strong bodied, fully focused 13yr old. I credit much of that growth to her time with Astrid.

Very detail oriented owner whose exceptional management style - makes it an almost seamless experience from 1st day of class to Recital day- for both parent and child. My daughter has been taking ballet classes here since she was 2. She absolutely loves it! Last year she was in the final show and enjoyed herself on the big stage and the whole family enjoyed watching her.The studio offers many classes to choose from and its easy to makeup any missed classes. People that work there are professional and welcoming. The studio is almost 30 min away from our house but its absolutely worth it!

Definitely the best dance studio around ❤️ My granddaughter is only 5, this is her third year of dance with Astrid Audet Academy. All the instructors pay so much attention to their students. More importantly, I have never seen a better group of young people, true mentors for the little children. This does not happen by chance, respect and discipline are key. Very professional and loving atmosphere, 5 stars plus 🎉 in my opinion.

Love Astrid Audet Academy of Ballet & More. Its an exceptional dance school. The moment one walks into the studio, you feel welcome. Ms. Astrid and her staff are very friendly. My daughter has made so much progress since shes been at Astrids. Ms.Astrid is an excellent teacher and artistic director. She is kind, caring, and very patient with her students. She makes all of her students feel welcome and accepted no matter their race. Ms. Astrid hires only the best teachers to teach the dance classes. I enjoy the fact that besides taking Ballet, my daughter is learning other types of dance ( i.e.,Jazz, Tap, Contemporary, Modern, and Hip Hop). Its amazing to watch so many students grow and become great dancers in a matter of months. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.

I have been dancing with AAA of Ballet and More for many years now and I would highly recommend this studio to every dancer. To the dancer who wants to be a professional, to the dancer who comes for the workout, to the little 2 year old ballerina, and to the adult whos always wanted to dance, this studio is perfect for them all. The staff and teachers are wonderful and helpful, the facility is beautiful, and the environment is friendly and professional at the same time. I would 10/10 recommend this studio!

I choose Astrid Audet Academy of Ballet for my daughters because I knew they would be taught the proper techniques of ballet, tap and jazz. My daughters have learned so much from all of the professional dance instructors at the studio and continue to advance throughout their classes. They have formed a love for dance! AAA of Ballet has been a wonderful experience for my daughter. She has met many nice young women and has progressed as a dancer. The teachers and staff are always accessible and have the dancers well being at the top of their priority. Nutcracker is a must see for the holidays !

Astrid and Staff are truly amazing people. They are passionate, caring, devoted and very professional. They inspire all dancers to be their very best. To be at this studio is to be counted as family. Our children have been blessed especially by all of the wonderful teachers, classes and shows.

My Doughter Started on August people isn’t friendly the Receptionist never say Hello . I switch my Doughrter another Studio because she was uncomfortable I remove Acro class and they continue token my money to my credit card , this month as well applied a Custom Deposit Even Dough I explain that my Doughter stoped on since Octuber 7

My daughter danced at Astrids for 10 years and it was the best experience of her life. I felt great knowing she was in a safe and loving environment and at a studio where she was getting the best instruction but without the drama and competition of many other studios. Everyone there worked together as a team and her instruction there has prepared her well to move forward with dance in college.

We love this dance studio!! My girl is obsessed she always like to go dancing. Everyone is so sweet and welcoming! Highly recommended

Astrid Audet is a phenomenal dance studio! Not only are they extremely professional and organized, but they have also created a family friendly environment where everyone feels welcome. I have an 8 year old enrolled in Pre-Company and 4 year old in dance and acrobatics since 2014 and its been amazing to see their skills develop dramatically over the last few years. Have interacted with many parents from other studios in the Fort Lauderdale area and none of them compare to Astrids Dance studio in terms of the caliber of teaching and all of the different types of dance-acro classes that they offer.
