Just graduated from this school and I am going to miss it it was tuns of fun teachers are reasonable will most are the field trips are amazing they had a shark tagging field trip! the food is ok they do give you cookies once in a while and there pretty good the band is AMAZING! I played the Clarinet the music teacher Mr.Jules will teach you well so 9/10!

I love New River its a great school the food is okay the teachers are supper nice if your child is looking for a good middle school go to New river Midde school is the best you go on cool field trips and there are lots of cool things in New river its my first year in this so far is cool and nice am a 6 grader now so come on to New river Midde school the best school ever in your life

Whenever school is out there is little control of where the kids cross the street so be mindful.

This is a great school. Im going into 8th grade and so far I have loved my experience. Our band is AMAZING (If I do say so myself) and Mr. Jules is one of the best band directors out there. The Marine Magnet program is amazing as well although I only participated in my 6th grade year it a great program. The Magnet staff is amazing although a lot of my friends complained about Ms. Reposa, the 7th-grade teacher. There are a few flaws though. We do have a lot of fights in our school and even though they are broke up soon there are a lot. It just a small warning there. Some of my personal favorite teachers are (7th Grade) Ms. Gibbs, Mrs. Gaither, Ms. Leavitt, and Ms. Tomlinson. Others are (6th Grade) Ms. Duffus and Ms. Slater. Im really going to miss this school after 8th grade. I love this school so much!

There food is disgusting and when I have to use the bathroom they say I should have went in the hallways but they always lock they doors like what sense does that make except for that this is my last year and I really enjoyed my time in New River im really going to miss it and btw they should get Ms.Vega back Ms. Shelomith is horrible and Mr.Major is the best IS teacher ever and at lunch they control you lke your prisoners there be like 6 admins in there and oh yea I did but she is and one time I had stale cereal and expired milk and rotten apples all in one morning it was really gross and suarez is the best admin and ms.gayle is rude so beware in coming 6th graders

So far I think the school is amazing! I was a past sixth grader through the years of 2015-2016, and had no trouble except there were a few 8th graders who thought it was funny to pull my hair in the hall ways. There is also this teacher by the name of Mr.Butler whos motto was Lifes not fair, then you die I dont think thats appropriate for kids at that age. Beside those 2 things I do really recommend this school. There might be some fights and bullies, but hey isnt that in every school?

I have now been here for about 1 and a half school years and im still in this school! with old memories. The food is 😐normal.... just normal.
