Ceramic artist, Jong Kang is a 30yr long veteran artist at heart dedicated her life into arts.With BA, 2 MFAs from Korea and USA, she is a great teacher and exhibition artist herself at a global scale.She has been at this location for 20yrs and will continue to devote to teach more students of arts, and anyone who wants to benefit from art in anyway. This is a gem of a studio. Ive visited many art studios to expand my hobbies (painting, looming, other ceramics places in ny, etc.) and enjoyed this place the most. The teacher/owner is a ceramic artist who has galleries of her own works. The assistant teacher is also wonderful and they take you through the step by step process while giving you independence and helpful guidance. I highly recommend going here if youre interested in learning pottery. Very warm, welcoming and lovely place

In the short time I have been here at Tobang art studio, I have learned to think more creatively and learn new art skills. This is a great place to learn for all kinds of people!

The Tobang Ceramic Studio is a wonderful place. A great environment and the teachers there are so encourgaing and kind. The 3 months I have been here, I have learned so much. Would definately recommend this place!
