Follow Up 07/14/2021:After a rough start, I am happy to say that driving lessons with Amare have been amazing. He is incredibly calm and professional, he so far has done an incredible job making me feel confident in my skills and reassured that I can pass my test. They say when you put a jumpy goat in a barn with a calm horse, the horse is able to sooth the goat. In this case, I believe Amare does an excellent job making sure his students feel safe and comfortable. Good vibes. As an instructor I would rate him very highly, and recommend him to others.June 2021: I’ve been having a rather horrible experience with the customer service of this company. Extremely rude but Ive read good things about the actual instructor so I’m keeping my hopes high. I will follow up with this review.

I really just wanted to give a huge thank you to my instructor Mr. James Lee. I’ve been afraid to drive for so long and he made me feel so comfortable driving on the road. His technique of teaching is firm but it’s important when learning to drive as it is a serious matter and safety is so important. I passed my road test on the first try, and I owe it all to James! If you want to pass and become a great driver, request him!

His way of teaching was fantastic and I got my drivers license the first time around and I’m from a country where we drive on the opposite side of the road, so that says a lot. There are no shortages of Driving School in Bergen County - That said H & H is the absolute best. I have used other schools for my older children and can say with out hesitation H & H is excellent and I would highly recommend. My daughter passed her driving test today and the instructor came to our house at 6:30am to grab one more hour of practice. Great School for Ridgewood NJ and the surrounding area.

James Lee was my driving teacher and he was a great teacher! Calm and collected, he made the experience easy-going and fun with his conversations. He was never impatient, always aware of what was going on, and taught a lot in 2 hours. If you want to improve your driving skills, consider learning from him.

All teachers were late 10~30min and it made my schedule messed up. One teacher wanted to finish the class 10min earlier than our promise. I felt they didn’t show me their responsibility in the class.

He is a little strict but I consider that a good quality in a driving instructor, because it’s important to learn how to drive safely and properly. I drove home on the first day of driving!!!!!!!!! I didnt know how to drive at all and It was my first time driving!! That was AMAZING. The driving test courses were well informed and all the teachers were good. I was so busy and didnt have much time, but I could have a lesson even on Sunday! In particular, I learned how to park the day before the test, and taught me so well enough to pass. Its a miracle to start driving two weeks before the test and pass the test!!! Thanks to this driving school!!!!!
