This is my last year at the elementary. The teachers are great but the students are not as great. I have been at this school for 6 years. Its been incredible. I have learned whats right and wrong. Next year I will be going to the Gateway Charter Middle School. I have met made many friends over the years. This is a good school. I am in the Cambridge program its really fun and we get to learn and do more activities.

We love Gateway Charter School. My son is now in 2nd grade and for 3 years it has been a great experience. The teachers truly care about the kids and go out of their way to give the kids the best possible advantage. The curriculum is much more advanced than other schools, grades are all available through a computerized system, so we are always able to be updated daily on how our child is doing, and teachers are available through email and they answer your questions or concerns right away. We are very happy here!

My daughter goes to 2nd grade there and has Ms. Browne. She had been out for a week due to health issues and today I went to get her homework. To her surprise the packet was full of Get Well cards. I’m so thankful to Ms. Browne for thinking about her when she has been feeling awful. She got home read them over and over with a smile on her face. Nothing can bring her down right now. I’m blessed my daughter has a loving person like Ms. Browne for a teacher! Thank you!

Our son spent his last two years of high school here, and enjoyed it a lot. His grades definitely improved during his two years there, and hes now graduated and is on his way to college.

Seriously amazing ! My sons teacher Mrs.Alayo was the best she’s so beautiful inside and out so helpful and just amazing ! we moved from Philadelphia to Florida and the school has been so helpful and helped us in so many ways ! Thank you for everything the whole school feels like a family ❤️ So thankful and blessed to have met everyone here !! We will miss gateway !!

I like the school my daughter is there already 3 years, she is learning well.she loves the school everyone knows her by name,the discipline is very good, and the integration that as a mother I have with the teacher on my child development is wonderful....

My wife just toured the school (Jan 2016). If you hate your kids and want them to have the experience of prison life, this is the place. 20 min physical time a day, and no talking during lunch or in the halls. With all studies showing elementary grade students need frequent free time to do better in school (see Finland, whose practices are now be adopted in Texas and California), this school is the antithesis of what experts say children need to excel. Not only will they be unable to perform due to the lack of release time through PE breaks (experts say 3-4 times a day). the lack of social interaction guarantees your child will lack required later social skills in life as well as be a pain-in-the-neck when they get home.Bottom Line - run - dont walk - run.

My daughter and her cousins go to gateway and they been the for 1 month and they love it there.

They do not teach reading..there is to much turn over..teachers arent happy..neither are students..elementary used to be ok..but not any more...took last child of three out...music teacher threw a temper tantrum..told a child to go to hell 3 times...principal has yet to do anything...they will embares your children..good teachers have left.no good no more...

I personally hate this school, Hated it for 6 Years straight. I dont recommend this school at all.

Was think about placing my son who has cerebral palsy in this school but just heard from my sons daycare that her son was bullied and made fun of and they did nothing to protect her son this is a child who makes up our future and the mentors who are the leaders of the school do nothing absolutely disgusting and heart breaking to hear this
