I would highly recommend Growing Room Fort Myers to anyone looking for great day care. My children have attended for over two years now and we’ve been very happy the whole time. My girls run in to school every morning to see their teachers and teachers in other classes even. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming, the school is clean and well equipped. Any issues are addressed quickly and professionally, it is easy to approach teachers, administration staff and the directors. The children are very well cared for, their days are filled with learning and a lot of fun. The teachers pay attention to each child’s passions, interests and needs, my girls love to draw and color so every day I get handfuls of “art” to bring home! There are always special events, parades, parties, themed weeks etc. I feel we get excellent value for money, it is a wonderful, nurturing and happy place.

We absolutely love the Growing Room! Everyone there is so kind and loving. We tried a different daycare that was closer to home, but only lasted four days because we truly missed the people at the Growing Room. It brings such comfort to know that our little one is really loved and happy! They offer a live feed video through an app on your phone (or you can visit the website), which we enjoy because we are able to check in on him throughout the day. It is tough leaving your child, but we are totally at ease when leaving him here. I wouldn’t recommend any place else!!

We had such an amazing experience with the Growing Room with our daughter. She was in the first infant room and the teachers in that classroom are so passionate about what they do and are so kind. They really made us feel comfortable with leaving her there everyday (our first baby...). She learned so much from them and would light up when we would drop her off. Thank you Growing Room!! **Highly recommend**

Absolutely LOVE Growing Room for my 2 1/2 yr old. She has flourished so much over the past year, she can count to 15, she knows her full name, she counts to 10 in Spanish, knows all her colors, alphabet, shapes, animals, the list goes on and on !!! They are very hands on with everything, everyone is so friendly and makes you feel at home! Love the option of the watchmegrow app that lets you view your childs classroom and playground, gives parents a little peace at mind, specially for first time parents making the switch to daycare.

Could not express fully in words how happy I am that my children attend this school. I have a 4 year old daughter and a 2 year old daughter that attend. We have been going to Growing Room since my 4 year old was 2 and my 2 year old was an infant. Each teacher my children have had have loved my children as their own. They are thorough and communicative with their daily activities. My 4 year old can write her name/numbers, do basic math and is learning to read. She will excel when it comes time for Kindergarten next year. My 2 year old was slow to start walking; Growing Room encouraged and helped with her getting on her feet. (Shes been non-stop since) ;) In addition to all the amazing things this school has done for my children, they also offer a Parents Night Out during the school year. For the cost of a babysitter, they will watch your kids on a Saturday evening from 6pm-11pm. The kids are entertained, fed, and asleep (usually) by the time we pick them up. I am also allowed for my 7 year old son to attend this event. Having 3 kids, we have been to numerous daycares, from private to Christian-based, Growing Room by far exceeds the others. My kids ENJOY going to school (daycare). My 4 year old is always asking (even on Fridays) if there is school tomorrow. She gets upset when I tell her its the weekend. The school is clean, safe (locked doors, opened by fingerprints), friendly, communicative....the list goes on. Thanks Growing Room!

After being a stay at home mom for 2 years with my daughter and searching for the perfect day care, I discovered The Growing Room. With VPK now approaching I have nothing but praise for this school for the past 3 years! My daughter has learned so much that she impresses everyone we meet and is definitely ready for kindergarten. The teachers, the administration- everyone is always pleasant and willing to do what is best for your child. I highly recommended The Growing Room and I am going to truly miss them next year.

My youngest is now in Mrs Marisol’s VPK class and he is very happy and learning so much. We have enjoyed our time with the growing room. We are definitely going to miss the incredible staff, my entire family loves everyone there they have made us feel so welcome. I would definitely recomend this school to anyone looking for a good loving learning environment.

I honestly would never recommend GRMFM to anyone. My two year old had the hardest time. Within the first month there he caught 3 different viruses, mono, and pneumonia. He had to be hospitalized for a week. That really made me question if they even clean or sanitize anything.2nd, I was trying to potty train my son during that time. They would leave him wet by the time I would pick him up. Once a week there would be a new teacher that didn’t know or remember to take my son to the bathroom.Only good thing I can say is that whenever Ms. Chrissy was there she treated him very well.

They have taken such great care of my son. They offer additional classes of sorts. The growing room has also taken in speech therapists and my son has grown so much in his speech since! We have broken communication barriers. My son loves his teachers mrs liz and mrs otelia. And mrs connie in the mornings! The growing room keeps tabs on everything and sends out daily email reports of what they learn and do throughout the day. We highly recommend them to anyone in need of an amazing and above and beyond daycare!

Before I had my LO I checked out at least a dozen daycares by far this one is the cleanest, safest, friendliest, most wonderful daycares around! You can tell from the moment you step in the door how they love the children and their job! I feel they become like an extension to your own family! I also love the option for Watch Me Grow! Totally eases your mind and heart being able to watch your LO and to see how wonderful they treat the children. I have to say at times I feel bad having to go to work and watch her from the screen, like Im missing out because my LO is growing up soo fast. I have to say though with not having option to stay home I couldnt ask for more amazing people to take care of her! She has learned soo much over the years she has been there! I wish I only one wish that they would be her teachers for the rest of school years!! I know wishful thinking. The Growing Room staff are such a blessing! You will not regret choosing them!!

I started Growing Room Fort Myers 4 years ago when my son was 3 and he continued onto the VPK program. He is now 7 years old in 1st grade and is doing excellent in his new school. To this day he still talks about how much his VPK teacher (Ms. Marta)taught him and says how much he misses it there. His new school has a VPK program that my daughter could of attended, but we decided to keep her in Growing Room, as she saw what my son learned and was very excited to attend the VPK program. She has been here since she was 2 as well and now at 5 in the VPK program currently, she has already learned so much. I love the fact that there is a fingerprinting scanner to enter the building and check in, there are programs that she is attending like ballet and UPlay that is conveniently set up during her school hours. There’s always activities for the children during the week and special occasions and they also offer a wonderful Owl Night for parents to have a night to themselves while the children have pizza, crafts and movies, fun for all!!! The stafff and teachers are so kind and considerate to any and all concerns and show their love to our kids! I am greatly appreciative to them for all their help and support through out our years there!!! Thanks so much!!!

I am editing my review due to a recent incident. My son has been coming home with numerous bug bites for the past week or so. Now, I am well aware that it is Spring, that bugs exist, and that this is not entirely in the school’s control. After a few days of increasing number of bites, and even having to miss school from a high fever which I expect was in reaction to the bites since there were no other symptoms, I expressed my concerns to Miss Jessica at the front office. She suggested that I supply them with bug spray and they’d apply it before playground time. I did this 5/9. They forgot to apply it that day. The following day I reminded them again and was told they’d put a reminder on their iPad. They forgot again. The following day, same story. I spoke to Miss Jessica at drop off this morning and, once again, reminded her that the spray was not being applied. I was told that sometimes she is too busy and that my son, FIVE YEARS OLD, has to remind his teacher to send him to the front office. This is unacceptable. His teacher was asked to remind the front desk, and I left for the day. When I returned to pick him up, he was at the playground. Coincidentally, he was showing Miss Marisol new bug bites. They’d forgotten once again. At this point I’m upset. Jessica and Miss Shana were out to lunch together and so I emailed them. One would think that if the staff is too busy to properly care for their kids, they’d not leave for lunch together and leave only one person to man the front office. Priorities. When Miss Jessica contacted me, I was told that she’d made this suggestion “to be nice” but that it is not her responsibility and that I should apply it in the morning, 3 hours before play time, or call them to remind them. She also mentioned that she applies it to other kids in the mornings, but their teachers send them out to the front desk to have it applied. I asked if she could not just add my son to that list of children, but she threw the responsibility back to the teacher. I then spoke to the Director, Miss Shana, and was told the same thing. They are only required, per the handbook, to apply before the afternoon playtime; however my son didn’t receive that either! The teachers are not required to remember and the administration isn’t responsible over it either. No accountability. Miss Shana mentioned that other staff members mentioned the bug problem as well and that if my son’s teacher noticed he was being bitten, that she “can send him for repellant”. Repellant would be far more effective PRIOR to the bites! I am unhappy with the level of unprofessionalism and lack of responsibility with this situation. I will happily call them every morning prior to play time and advocate for my son, although it’s sad that I have to treat those caring for my son as children.

My husband & I went on a tour here, we observed little to no supervision for the children in the two year old class room. One child was sitting at a table by herself, I’m not sure exactly what happened but all of a sudden I noticed she fell back & hit her head. The teacher was too busy texting on her phone to notice when the child fell. Also who ever Ms. Jessica is she is very unprofessional.
