Wonderful school, we stayed in Florida so our youngest could graduate. Both of our children have attended since kindergarten. Motivating and caring teachers. Dedicated and dynamic teaching Principal that leads by example! The principal really listens and is respected by the students. Middle school is a difficult age, I am glad I had Crestwell s guiding my child during those difficult growing years. It is a rough world out there and socially sophisticated at a younger age in the larger schools. Crestwell is a very safe environment! Our oldest Crestwell graduate is now graduating High School, doing well and making good choices.

The school is worth more than what you pay especially compared to a northern prep school where we had lived. We have one very focused child, one high energy and the last one more immature than the others . My children have had the usual ups and downs of growing-up but we have had great support from every teacher and administrator along the way. As my children have transitioned into the Middle School, They deserve 10 stars for all they have done yet the facility space needs to be expanded to to be able to enroll more students. There is a wait in the office during drop off and pick up. The office staff are helpful. I continue to be grateful for the excellent preparation they receive as they progress from one year to another. The school encourages family involvement. My children are thriving up to what each can do and becoming people in large part thanks to the caring faculty and staff.

A lot of family went through this school, 4 of us in all. Outstanding school, the individual attention to each student as they progress through the years is unparalleled. Ive seen real long term results from this type of care and education well into college and beyond. You wont find dedicated people like this everywhere, and its not obvious at first glance. The kids here have a better experience than a vast majority of schools.

* At Crestwell you are encouraged to be involved, I was on the Math team, in the school musical, in Chess tournament, STEM, Physics, Basketball, Flag football and Soccer teams.*You do learn speaking and presentation skills in your classes, labs, and at events which I use all the time.*The population at Crestwell is from all over the USA and the world. It is a very friendly school.* Lunch is catered by Jasons Deli. and Pizza Fusion.*When you are in middle school you will have to mentor little ones twice a month for a planned activity like read a story......... you have to write plan for the next visit.* The teachers really are great. The science teacher is amazing and does not let you give up. *The principal is patient, strong and caring.I attended elementary and middle school at Crestwell. My Freshmen year at Fort Myers High IB. Program was like my eighth grade year at Crestwell. The IB program becomes more rigorous each year. While at Crestwell I was the highest score in Florida for the Duke University Gifted and then went to Orlando to receive the state award. All I can say is thank you Crestwell!* When I return to Fort Myers I will send my kids to Crestwell. It is not like any other school

We are relieved finding Crestwell. The parents, the staff and the administration come together for our children to be part of a healthy community.. We took a chance because of the traditional school appearance yet their large acreage is nice for the children to be outside. I still have my youngest left to graduate.During the day my active one has easily learned to adjust with in the school to different enviroments such as Music, Labs, Spanish, PE . The day is balanced with recess. My graduate is doing well and jumped into a very competitive program. My youngest has become more focused because of the routine structure. In his past school the ipad did the teaching daily and when he was not using the ipad he was a bit distracted even a little hyper. Now he is more involved in his learning . I am happy my child is more responsible and is developing a calmer work ethic.

Im glad that this place was recommended to me, so I must write a recommendation in case it helps someone else. One of the main reasons we moved to this part of Florida is because of Crestwell. We had been living for many years outside the US and were looking to return but were concerned about the impact on our two children (an international move from a small town is not an easy transition). After visiting several areas of the US and touring many schools, we found that this area (SWFL) and this school (Crestwell) were tops in terms of investing...both economically and for the educational future of our children. The school is not free (middle range for private schools in the area), the student-teacher ratio is a bit high in some classes, and the general facilities arent impressive (at least not at first site, though they keep getting better!)...but its still one of the best school environments we have seen thanks to the teachers and spirit fostered within the school. Weve now been at Crestwell for over a year and our initial thoughts when we toured the place havent changed. This school really cares that their school children get the most out of being at school. Each teacher knows the names of every student! The school keeps the kids involved with diverse activities and teaching styles. The school was created by educators for their children, so there has been a lot of care given to the needs of students and faculty alike. Our children quickly got fully involved in a number of areas, from the school musical to athletics to after school clubs (chess, Spanish, etc). Both are excited to go to school and have really grown over the year...they are more confident, creative, and thoughtful. The homework given seems fair and the teachers are available for extra support. When our older child needed extra help, the school worked with us to get her the help she needed. This was critical for her as the language barrier and overall expectations were high (the language used in her previous school was not English and it was a bit behind in all subject areas)... this affected her negatively in each class. Now, after some tutoring, she is doing much better (as can be seen in her higher grades, better understanding of the subject matter, and all-around better attitude towards school in general). Many former Crestwell students have received impressive feedback at their High Schools and several return to Crestwell to share their experiences. If you have a Pre-K to 8th grade child in the area, I highly recommend taking a tour and seeing if the school is a good match!

As it was not possible to rate the school due to my never attending or visiting this school I could only give one star.None of my family or friends have ever attended or visited this school so I do not know why a bad review was given.I can only assume that someone, maybe an unhappy student, wishing to cause problems, posted the review using my name.I did NOT write the negative review.
