Even though I had to stand outside for almost an hour I still feel like they are doing the best they can to accommodate for last minute people like myself and especially how theyve had to change their regular routine because of the Rhona.

Be prepared incase you need to wait in line outside first (water, umbrellas, have all pre-requirements ready, such as forms and proofs, etc... (and keep in mind these extra steps are only due to their amazing efforts to follow safety protocols for Covid... (also be sure to check hours before going, AND make sure you have anything completed beforehand, that you can do to help make your visit quicker and smoother for both you and the workers!!;)

Went to register kids for school and it went very smoothly. Very organized and followed covid protocols

Just prepare to be disappointed. We live around Summerlin and College the kids have to go to school at Three Oaks Middle which is 75 in Alico and have no bus for them. Ive tried to switch their schools and have been told nothing they can do.

Very mindful of cleanliness. Staff were courteous and helpful. Office is closed from 12pm-1pm.

Awful place ! We had to make a line outside the office for 35 minutes under a heat of 88 F , nobody gave information over the telephone, so I had to go there only to ask the question!! At the end I asked a lady to just show me the exist and she answered in a very rude manner , people dont deserve to be treated like that!!!

Very frustrating. Only 1 parent and 1 child allowed in. Our situation was complicated and I had to sit in my car for over a hour with my kids in 98 degree weather. Even spoke with someone over the phone prior to coming. Was never once told these rules. Total B.S

I came in at 9am today line outside was rediculous finally got in after an hour of waiting outside I get inside wait again even longer because their were only 9 seats available once my number was called they said their was nothing they could do for me being that they are not doing transfers until November waited about 3hrs to just wait and be told their was nothing they could do to just look on their website

Was in and out , pre-registration for kindergarten was fast and easy !

As a family coming from another state there absolutely needs to be a better system in place for assisting families in choosing which school would be best. We only had one school that we knew of that was 1 mile from our house and with no openings at that school we were pushed to make an immediate decision. After refusing to pick a school without doing any research, we were given quite a hard time. We had no help, no guidance, no suggestions. After doing research, the only schools available to us were 10 to 20 miles away from our house. This seems a little ridiculous being there is a school 1 mile from us. We ended up going with a Charter school that was just a few miles away. Get it together Lee County . Very disappointed. Your staff at the placement office needs some serious customer service training.

Do to the Virus....probably, We have to be outside in cold and windy weather....there are plenty seat inside that should be used.

The director there is the most God awful women I have ever met. She looked me straight in my face and said come on your daughter has been out of school 8 days. She never once took into account that we moved from out of state, that took use 3 days to travel. She never once thought there was a three day weekend. She didnt take into account that the first time I tried I didnt know I had to transfer her shot records over to Florida so I had to take a day to go do that. Was the most rude awful person I have ever come across. Im not sure who she is use to dealing with but I will be filing a complaint. That was the most unacceptable encounter I have ever came been a part of.

Other than the extraordinary wait time, Ive had positive experiences each time Ive had to come. The staff is professional and kind. They seem to be compassionate to your situation being very helpful with anything you may need. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because we waited over an hour the third time we came.

Visited a week ago, compared to the other student enrollment office that i visited in the past, staffs here were more friendly. got everything prepared ahead of time. in and out within 30 minutes.

Usually I hate going to these offices but these women change that feeling everytime I walk through the door! They are fast, helpful and kind! They show great team work helping each other out and make sure all the kids are taken care of! Thank you ladies! Ihope your year is as amazing as you are!

Most people dread going to these offices but the Cape Coral staff was fast and super friendly. Our wait was only 20 mins and as long as you go prepared you are in and out!

This place is a joke they dont like to help you whats so ever.. but if it was there love ones they family members boy they would move mountains for them its crazy how the system is out here

The absolute worst experience Ive ever had in school systems. I came from out of state...The system is the worst if you care about your childs education. Taxes pay for unsafe, low scoring school systems. If you are considering a move to Lee County seriously look elsewhere. Ive been back to the Ft Myers student assignment office twice and both times the staff is very unfriendly and will not provide any beneficial info.

No one answers the phone at the assignment office. I have been trying to transfer my child to another s hook for 2 weeks and no response from anyone!

How did this place get over one star ,must employees or relatives making falsify statements just to make the place look good, their customer service is the worst never walked into a place where a bunch of employees look so unhappy to be there

Staff is great, but the wait is terrible. Be prepared to be there for awhile, no matter what time of the year it is.

Dont move here if you have kids...yes, you have a choice of schools but the choices are terrible.. .high crime areas where schools located
