I have been involved with Taekwondo United for almost five years now. My children both take Taekwondo at different levels and it has become our home away from home. They are learning so many lessons in life that are applicable in the real world: responsibility, time management, being able to be gracious in competition whether you win or lose, focus and discipline. This family run business has always made me feel at home and have been there for me personally in some very trying times following the death of my husband and my father and have very much become an extended part of my family. They run a program offering something for everyone and give back to the community through annual fundraisers to the local food bank and animal shelter. They have lots of special events and an awesome summer camp teaching actual survival skills. We look forward to many more years with Master Geoff and Kaitlyn.

Im only giving this place one star only because my child likes it here. Also this was the only camp that I could find that was open until 7pm that was relatively close to home & work. From what I can tell the instructors appear to be professional, as Ive only had a couple of interactions with each of them, no more than a hello and a goodbye. The problem lies with the female at the front desk named Kaitlyn, since the first time I came in there to sign my child up she treated us in a really discriminatory way. Ill elaborate Im a person of color and she doesnt speak to me although I pay for my child to attend every single week, she makes it a point to speak to every parent around me, by that I mean that shell ask them how theyre doing, welcome them in, so on and so forth. I think its a bad look for this business to discriminate against certain people that come in as if they dont want certain people in the institution. After all I am a paying customer right? My child is not attending for free!! Im sure to ask my son every day whether he had a great day there or not ,because Im concerned that he may be mistreated, but so far so good. I just didnt & dont feel comfortable because her demeanor is cold, unfriendly,unkind, unprofessional,and just flat out kind of rude. I will be sure to tell others who are also in the professional world that I encounter that this place about my experience. Taekwondo United needs to realize that people will always remember how they were treated and if treated poorly they will tell many others, which is not good for business.

This is the BEST martial arts school in lee county. I wouldnt trust my son with anyone else. Master Geoffery is an excellent instructor with patience and integrity. It is a place to learn and have fun. Their after school program is the best and it is affordable. This is definitely the place you want to go if you are thinking of joining martial arts.

My son has been going to taekwondo United aftercare for over a year now. His bus drops him off after school and I get an email letting me know my child is safely there. when my child is signed out and picked up I also get an email letting me know my child was picked up and by who. I am so glad to have found this place. Since starting aftercare here My son has excelled even more in school . I personally want to thank the counselors who work with my son on a daily basis. He also gets a chance to learn teakwondo and practice throughout the week. He is now earned his orange belt and is so proud. The atmosphere is that of family and my son has made some very strong freinships. They are also open on days school is closed and offer fun activities. I would HIGHLY recommend this place !!!

I love Taekwondo United!!! My son has been going there for years and it has helped him more ways than I can count. Master Geoff is a great instructor and has such patience with all his students. The encourage good grades and their after school program is awesome. Not only are there tutors to help with homework, they are affordable. It is a great place for your kids and adults to grow as individuals. I wouldnt trust any other people with my son.

My children consider TKD United their second home. Walking into the school you are surrounded by other caring parents who treat you in like family.Master Geoff instills respect, discipline, integrity and honor in my boys. They have the privilege of being on the competition team APEX and their training gets mention from other coaches and players from across the nation.We have been attending there for a little over a year but have felt at home since day one.

My kids love it and so do I !!! They learn discipline, persistence, patience and its great for self esteem. Master Geoff really boosts my kids spirits whenever he speaks to them personally because they respect him and are in awe of his skills. There are fun activities and lots of learning. I highly recommend this program !

My son started at Taekwondo United in 2nd Grade. Now 4 years later he is a brown belt. Master Geoff and his staff are great. The kids are rewarded for grades which is important to me. My son also loves to play other sports and Master Geoff is always supportive of this. My daughter started at a younger age and it took a little longer for her to like TKD but the staff is patient and encourages her. She really likes their after school program and this year has begged to attend summer camp there instead of gymnastics.

Excellent program and staff! My daughter has thrived there. I would recommend it to anyone!

We were referred to try out this great after school / summer day camp program at Tae Kwon Do United and they became family from the beginning. Levi loves it there and the other parents watch out for everyones children. It is awesome. When you walk into their place all of the other parents treat you like family. Levi has loved everything he has participated in there from Tae Kwon Do to the great fun at Parents Night Out. Levi is even saving his own money to do one of the over nights. Master Geoff treats every person there as individuals. Thank you Shedd family for sharing this wonderful experience with us. I never worry with my son in their care.
