Not helpful. Most links don’t even work on the website and when they do decide to assist with utilities, you have to wait a month to even get the help promised to you. You can be in the first wave, they don’t care.

The CSCDC is full of amazing programs for those in need in the River Valley! They’re working so hard to make programs and resources locally accessible.

They have given my daughter the run-around for over a week now and her power is off and shes turned in mutiple check stubs and they keep saying they still need more, theyve even told her shes calling too much. There is a small child involved as well. The temperature is too hot for them to be without electricity.

It would appear they have no public service or anything probably pocketing government grants and aids to the american ppl or they are so poorly funded cant have someone answer a fine call with over 200 phone calls in two weeks not one of them was answered

Air unit went out, none of the doors will stay open , electric outlets not installed right, kept shorting out, exterior door locks broke , tolits came loose from the flange and this all happened within the first year, We had to pay to repair these items because the people at crawford sebastian community development would not make the contractors repair this stuff, they said to call the contractors and tell them, we did and nothing happened, no one would show up, Ronnie the man over seeing this project was all about the contractors, did not seem to give 2 cents about us, we would call Donna in the office and she would make excuses ,same as Michael, some of the contractors were paid twice foe the same job, they would leave trash everywhere and we were told this is a self help program you have to pick it up, Ronnie refused to make these contractors clean up after there self, beer cans , food containers , ect, when we confronted him about these things he would get mad and act if we should be grateful that we were even getting this house built, Hay Ronnie, we are paying for this house, we borrowed the 100.000 to build it, I would suggest if you are going to build through this program you talk to others who have already done this first, they are real nice untill the papers get signed, just ask the Donna. They seem to be making pledges and not following thru. They also DO NOT answer the phones. They pledged money to help my mother but instead they did not pay the pledge they promised.
