Tired of ballet but still wanting to dance, my daughter first tried Irish Dance during a Summer Dance Camp a few years ago. By Camp Day 2, she begged me to sign her up for regular classes and she is still loving Irish Dance years later.Carpenter Academy of Irish Dance provides a unique, challenging, and fun style of dance in which dancers learn about the importance of hard work, dedication, and goal setting. Class sizes are small and each dancer gets attention and instruction as they learn a variety of steps and dances. Ms. Ashley is a strong, supportive, and professional teacher who makes an effort to get to know each dancer and his/her family. Communication is very open and each dancer truly belongs to a cohesive and supportive dance family. Dancers come from all around the local area so this has been a nice way to branch out and make friends we otherwise may never have met.Beginner Irish Dance classes are at a comparable rate to Beginner Ballet classes. Once dancer masters the basics, there are opportunities to participate individually in formal Irish Dance competitions, although participation is at the discretion of each dancer/family. Despite the competition element to this style of dance, there is an emphasis on teamwork and supporting fellow dancers. The entire studio puts on a beautiful and fun-to-watch Saint Patricks Day show every year to exhibit the talent, skill, grace, and confidence these dancers exude.If you or your dancer is looking for something unique and challenging, I highly recommend giving classes at the Carpenter Academy of Irish Dance a try.

My daughter absolutely loves learning Irish Dance here! We were looking for a challenge for her, something that developed the trait of persistence, and we found it. Were thankful that Ms. Ashely is so organized and her communication is always timely and clear. You dont always find that at a dance studio!

We love CAID! Our daughter has been dancing at CAID for 2+ years, and with no prior dancing experience, she has flourished so much since starting.I cant say enough great things about the instructors, Ashley and Cindy. They are true artists of their craft and are not only encouraging, kind, and energetic but also hold the dancers to a high standard. My daughter loves all aspects of Irish dancing that CAID has to offer from lessons to feis competitions to St. Patricks Day performances. Thanks, CAID!

We LOVE the Carpenter Academy of Irish Dance! My children have thrived there. Ms. Ashley have had developed but only a love of dancing in my kids but she has encouraged good life skills and its such a good mentor to my children.
