My wife gave me a discovery flight for fathers day a few years ago, it was so much fun! We circled the Ft Wayne several times. They let me taxi and I got to control the stick once we took off and got to altitude! The flight also counts toward your first hour of flight time, if you plan to get a pilots license!

Flying is definitely not my thing so when I found out my boss booked a private plane to take me and my coworkers to a training I panicked for sure!Andrew was fantastic! He was confident in a good way and talked through everything as it was going on. I knew we were in capable hands.The plane had snacks and waters which were a nice surprise...When we arrived at our location he walked us through the airport and waited outside with us until our ride arrived. Definitely overdelivered!Shockingly I can honestly say I would not hesitate to jump in a plane with Andrew and Sweet Aviation again!

Ive done a couple Discovery flights. Very fun and good way to get into flying. The location is great. The instructors are awesome. Highly recommended.

Had a great discovery flight today. The facility, experience, and instructor Alex were excellent. I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to learn how to fly or to enjoy the rare opportunity to see Fort Wayne from a different perspective. It was amazing! Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I am excited for my wife to begin classes here. I can tell she is going to receive a great education and have the knowledge she needs to be successful in a career focused in aviation. Anyone who is looking to make a career out of aviation, let this be your one and only stop.

I will update this review as my experience dictates, but my first two visits, which included a 1.4 hour check-ride on a DA-20, were terrific, and owed wholly to Craig. I have flown in a half-dozen locations all around the US, and have found aviation centers are very binary: theyre good or bad, depending upon their factors. To date, Craig has made Sweet Aviation my FAVORITE place to visit to-date.

Here is a bit an overview of what you can expect on your flight:The Discovery Flight is, essentially, a no-strings attached introduction to aviation. Your instructor will describe the basics of aircraft control, answer any questions you may have, and demonstrate the pre-flight action required before entering the aircraft.Once in the aircraft, you can do as much or as little as you like. Since your instructor has complete control of the aircraft, they will allow you attempt taxi, take-off, and landing using your own set of controls--if you want to try it. Just tell your instructor how much you want to try. :)In the air, you can fly over your property, over downtown, or wherever you like (time permitting).Sweet Aviation Rocks!
