My daughter has been coming to class for just a couple weeks so far. She absolutely loves it! She’s excited to learn new stuff each class. I love seeing the changes in her behavior and confidence. Looking forward to what the year brings as she grows with class. Definitely recommend.

Our son started about 4 months ago and we have been so pleased with everything. The staff and instructors are wonderful, they have wonderful communication and have made the necessary adjustments for covid. We have seen such an improvement in our son’s listening skills and maturity and we are excited to see him reach his goals.

I look forward to class every week. I would suggest this to anyone who wants to get in shape and has an interest in mma. The classes are tough, but the good kind of tough. As the old saying goes iron sharpens iron. The the environment is welcoming, and excepting. Wide range of ages and abilities. They will work with you every step of the way. Worth it for sure.

Karate is something I wanted to try when I was a young adult.....but never did. I cant change the past, but happy to see my 4 daughters engaged in karate in their youthful years. My wife and I also go in our not so youthful years! Weve all been going as a family since last summer. This is part of who we are now, and I cant speak highly enough of the staff and atmosphere. Premier Martial Arts with Mr. Kuhn is an excellent program for the whole family. It has taught my daughter and myself self-empowerment and my son selfdiscipline. My son started taking karate here about 4 months ago. He has really taken to learning and spending his own time at home working on it. It has turned in to an activity we work on together at home. I enjoy being there during his class and talking to the other parent about different ways to help them at home. We have both met good people there and look forward to participating in more events with PMA.

The instructors and staff are wonderful. My son has social anxiety. The Sensei offers him certain accommodations, but he is still pushed and challenged him to reach his potential. The classes have helped with his focus and attention, which are skills that translate to the classroom as well. He also has become more confident and self-assured. He has attended classes for almost a year now, and hell stay for many more years to come!

I’ve been going to PMA since February and I love every bit of my time there. The class is awesome, instructors and curriculum are great. Mr. and Mrs. Kuhn are amazing and caring people. My boys (6 & 4) just started a week ago, but I can already see an improvement in attitude. They are so excited to come and look forward to what they will learn next. I cant wait to watch them grow in their knowledge of respect, self control and discipline.

I joined to learn self defense but I received a lot more: excellent workouts, mental exercise learning kata, making friends, and achieving belt promotions. I was in good shape for being 69 but now I feel even better. Most importantly, when walking across a dark shopping center parking lot, if a bad guy confronts my wife and me, I know how to protect us.It was well worth the time and money.Jim Tolbert

We absolutely LOVE premier martial arts!! We have been there for 2 years and my son has grown so much in his time here! Not only just in his martial art skills but also in life skills and confidence. It has been a life changer for him in building his confidence and breaking him out of his shy shell. They also do SO MUCH to help with the community and do fundraisers for Riley childrens hospital and so much more. We are proud to be members of this dojo and plan to be for many years to come! Sensei Kuhn, his family, and the other instructors are all amazing and have done an awesome job making this a family dojo that you feel comfortable and at home with. We bought a Groupon which was good for one month. Staff was friendly, however at the end of our month, they disclosed what pricing would be. I told the lady I’d think it over. My son’s official last day was the day just before they had a big pizza party that he was very much looking forward to. So when I called back to say that I could not afford to continue on, the lady replies “I’m sorry you can’t afford 99$ a month”. To me personally this was very rude and insulting. Then I asked if I could pay extra or if my son could attend the pizza party and she then replied it was “only for members”. This tells me a lot about their character. What if we had started at a later time , he would have been able to go without being an “official” member. Very disappointed in how she handled it and if I do one day have money for karate classes we will take business elsewhere.

He had been the target of bullying at school and this has given him the tools to be able to walk away and not take those incidents to heart. He is more confident and sure of himself and the instructors have helped him to identify and hone his natural abilities to where he feels confident about himself now in many situations where he didnt before. I would recommend this dojo to anyone looking for one on one within a group and family dynamic. He feels like he belongs to something and thats a beautiful thing for someone who felt less than others before. I appreciate this dojo and the instructors so much. Great group of kids and parents as well. Money well spent.

Love Lions Karate of Fort Wayne!! Mr. Kuhn is the most patient and knowledgeable instructor!! I have 3 boys in his class and he makes them work hard to earn their belts!!

My family and I started out our Karate journey here at Premier over a year and a half ago. We wanted to do something as a family together. My daughters and I wear skirts and the big question was could we wear Cullotes, since we don’t wear pants. Most dojo do not allow altered uniforms, but they said it would be perfectly fine. We also asked if we could do classes together. And that was a yes too. We also homeschool, and they have a discount for that! We not only get to learn how to defend ourselves but we get to have fun while learning. I have seen kids and adults improve on focus and coming out of their shell. Confidence is built here through a very patient instructor. I am so glad my husband came across that intro class. It started a wonderful journey of health, strength, self defense and confidence. We have a dojo that’s 3 minutes from our house, but we choose to drive 25 minutes to Premier. It is worth it!

Awesome place my son loves it.

My son Isaiyah started attending Premier Martial Arts in November of 2017. When Isaiyah first joined he would clam up and act shy when participating but 6 months later he moves around more freely and is not so shy when it comes to participating. He loves to join in and work with the other kids and hes not quite there all the way but he has come a long way. He really looks up to Mr. Kuhn in a positive way and Isaiyah listens very well to Mr.Kuhn. He talks alot about his favorite Sensei (Mr. Khun) at home. Thanks Alot Mr and Mrs Kuhn!
