Husband and I started lessons 3 years ago just to try out dancing and we are now having the time of our lives dancing both socially and competitively. Its more fun than we ever realized, and has made an already great marriage even better. The staff is amazing and the other students are really like a second family. Its my happy place!

When I walked into this hidden treasure three and a half years ago, I had no idea what an amazing journey I was about to embark upon. For years, I had ballroom dancing on my bucket list and finally in January of 2014 I signed up for an introductory lesson. The warm and friendly greeting from one of the managers extended to the instructors on the floor. I originally thought I would take lessons for a few months and then move on to the next bucket list item. Low and behold, I am still dancing and there is no other place I would rather be after a long, hard day at work.This studio is full of magic and genuine love. The instructors are top notch and they not only care about teaching you correctly but they also want you to experience the beautiful movement of dance in your heart. This sounds incredibly corny and I am not a corny person; however, I believe this to be true as I have seen the fruit of dance extend to other areas of my life. The strength and confidence I have gained through dance has prepared me for new and exciting challenges in my career. Dance has taught me to feel and enjoy all of the emotions we encounter in life. Arthur Murray Fort Worth is more than a dance studio. Its family, friends, fun, a workout, adventure, joy, competition, travel, life changing, comfort zone braking, therapy, stress relieving, body healing and there are times where we are just plain silly. It brings couples together whether there married or about to be. It teaches boys and men of all ages to be gentlemen and to be confident in themselves and how to treat young girls and ladies and how to make them feel special. It also teaches young girls and ladies of all ages how to be lady like and how to present themselves in everyday life making them feel more confident in themselves. For a small testimony of mine being here... I was in a car accident a few yeas ago and ever since then i have had some major back problems. I ended up going to Arthur Murray because I needed to have some kind of social life and dancing was one of the things on my list that I enjoyed doing. I have been at Arthur Murray for a year and seven months now and since day one my wonderful instructor would stay on me about my posture. I took that and put it in my everyday stuff like walking around, sitting and through that and dance my back and the muscles have gotten stronger and stronger to were I dont have problems anymore. Im still taking classes and I dont think I will ever stop! I also have another place to call home and people to call family :)

I came to Arthur Murray Dance studio nearly 5 years ago, after being referred by my dentist ( of all people). I re-discovered dance after decades of not dancing, and have been hooked on it ever since. I, too, find the dance studio an escape from our buy, stress-ridden lives. Being able to dance to the rhythm of the various music genres, and moving your body as though you are becoming a part of the music is exhilarating to soul. I find myself smiling and laughing when I dance.... and I notice virtually all of the other dancers do the same on the dance floor. The instructors are top-notch, and are very nice and friendly. The physical benefits are remarkable and it sure beats going to the gym! I would recommend Arthur Murray to anyone wanting to have fun with a bunch of fun people.

I moved here 3 years ago from the northeast not knowing anyone and came to Arthur Murray initially to keep me busy after work. What I found was outstanding teachers and my Arthur Murray family who are my closest and most loving friends for life. My life and my body were transformed and my teachers continue to challenge me everyday!!!! God blessed me with the best teachers and I love to compete and travel with the studio and meet other students and teachers from around the globe. I love this studio! I wouldnt drive all the way from Allen if I didnt. The staff are friendly, professional, and truely love teaching and watching their students grow. The other students are so welcoming too. I moved to Texas 2 years ago and from another Arthur Murray studio in California, so I was looking for a new home to further my dancing and to have that feeling if family again. Thats what Arthur Murray Fort Worth gave me my first day in the door. Im excited to see how far I go and grow with this family in Fort Worth!

My husband and I went here almost 6 years ago to learn to dance with each other. Who knew we would still be at it! The staff are so helpful and caring and all the people you meet are so friendly and fun. The lessons can seem a little expensive but when you include all the group classes and the dance parties on Friday nights it makes it more reasonable.

As an on-again-off-again social dancer who recently moved to Texas from the midwest, I was looking for a place to have fun and make new friends. The studio is a friendly place with an energetic group of teachers. As musicians we love the selection of music!We get a lot of positive encouragement which is nice. I was so afraid when my fiancée and I (both women) were going to begin lessons, but AM was just alright with us coming, they were ENTHUSIASTIC to have us. Heres a piece I wrote after a solo showcase event we held in Grapevine:Today Gracie had her first time on a stage. I dont know if shell be a performer, or a tax accountant, or a housewife, or writer, or a politician, or I dont know what. But today, she was a star, for the first time, and we were there together - we will have the moment together forever.On paper, dancing is just jumping around to music and wearing funny costumes. In practice, it is people of all colors, beliefs, and backgrouds coming together to mutually agree to believe and support the most awesome possible versions of ourselves. Today, I watched my friends, from age nine to eighty-something - no joke - sharing their most essential selves with each other in music and motion. On paper, this is just moving around to music and getting a good workout - it is certainly that. In reality, it is what we are all looking for in these times - a community.Ive done it long enough now to have seen people enter the studio, nervous, careful and closely guarded, and slowly blossom into beautiful, elegant, graceful, powerful men and women. Ive seen it enough now to be able to see the seed of possibility when they come through the door for the first time. So many of us have begun in crisis - dealing with death, divorce, a relationship in crisis, or moving forward to a new stage in life, not knowing what the future holds - circumstances where it would be perfectly understandable to hide, surrender and, well, die. That these people choose to face this howling oblivion by choosing to dance, by choosing life - well, it makes me think that theres hope for humanity after all.

Brian and I came to Arthur Murray at a time when he was battling a terminal illness. The staff at Arthur Murray Fort Worth allowed us to escape and grow in a dance world where we performed solos, social dances, and competitive routines. Its amazing what we accomplished in the last 4 1/2 years with the help of the instructors expert coaching and caring support. You couldnt have given us a greater gift. Now that he has passed, I cant think of a better place to come to heal and grow.

My husband had passed away about nine months before and I was kind of spiraling down. My son told me to take up a hobby or something. Well, I had always wanted to dance. (My hubby never did.) So, I called to make an appointment. It was the best thing I ever could have done! The instructors are all fabulous, and Ive made lots of friends and even gone to Mexico for a dance trip! Outstanding!

My experience at Arthur Murray is likely not the norm. But for every Cinderella story I suppose there must be a glass slipper lost to the midnight hour.I came to AMFW a different person than the woman who now laces her dance shoes with a sense of strength, passion, and perseverance. Sometimes in losing all we had, we find so much more in the end—and I was lucky to have so many outstretched hands reaching to lead me out of my darkness, onto a polished wood floor that would in time fly below my feet in a swirl of pivot turns and patchwork dreams. I am so much more for having dance in my life. I believe that ballroom—not in general, but quite specific to the ethereal nature of this place and the peculiar, beautiful people within it—molds and shapes us into the very best versions of ourselves; as though we are no more than a shell, only halfway full ‘til we find the missing element to the potion of our being. I was nearly empty. But drop by drop I was filled such that I could lift my chin and hold my head high again…up and back, angled slightly to the left, with the length of my smooth dress swishing melodically to the rise and fall of a whimsical waltz…There is a sense of magic here, something unique and extraordinary—just like the dancer within us all.

I have the most awesome instructors on the planet. Been dancing for over four years and every time I walk in the studio its like Im home. They greet with kindness, they are patient, understanding and always a positive environment. You could have the worst day and everything changes once youre there.

To say that Arthur Murray Ft Worth has changed my life would be quite an understatement. When I walked through those doors three years ago, I was nervous, full of fear, insecure and had social anxiety so bad that I had trouble making eye contact with people. Now, I can stand tall, with much more confidence. I have become able to control my anxiety rather than it controlling me. I now love to meet new people, to look into their eyes and begin to learn their stories. I didnt realize how much I needed other people, how much joy they could bring into my life, until I came to this amazing studio. The instructors are world class. They love me well and teach me so much more than just dance steps. My instructors have been wall breakers for me in so many ways. Took our 6 year old son at the time here 1 and 1/2 years ago to learn ballroom dance and he LOVED it! Great atmosphere and great staff. Met so many different people that are all encouraging each other and having a blast while learning to dance.

Ive been a student at his studio for four years. It started out as a few lessons as a little birthday present to myself and I never left. Ive become close friends with my fellow students and have met the most incredible professional dancers. My instructors have taken the time to the apply the best teaching method for me and Im always challenged, both mentally and physically, with something new. I leave my frustrating days on the dance floor and go home a happier person.

I have 3 words to describe my experience at this studio: Heaven. On. Earth. And I sincerely mean it when I use these three words. When I joined the Arthur Murray family back in 2009, I was very shy and nervous about dancing...so nervous, in fact, that I would be a wallflower at the practice parties. But the instructors have been so incredibly supportive of me these 8 years. The instructors are some of the nicest, most genuine people Ive ever met. I said before that it is heaven on earth. Im not kidding. This dance studio is one of the best places on earth to be. When I was a junior at TCU, I drove by Arthur Murray Fort Worth on my way home. I saw everyone dancing and it looked so much fun! I told my Mom I want to learn how to do that. I love, love this Arthur Murray’s. My husband and I first walked in with a gifted Groupon from the MIL for a private lesson and some group classes, just hoping for a couple of fun hours together. The energy and inspired teaching style quickly had us hooked! We’ve learned so much since then, gotten into great shape, and added a rich layer of communication and Fun! to our relationship that is priceless to me. There is definitely something special about this dance studio. I highly recommend.

I began dancing at Arthur Murray in Fort Worth nearly 6 years ago. I was over weight and in pain from arthritis.  I was becoming a bit depressed about it, but knew I needed to keep moving. Dance has helped me regain my strength, flexibility, and motivation. I lost 30 pounds and was able to stop taking all that arthritis medicine.Some people may say it is pricey, But, you dont just learn to dance there. It is certainly excellent exercise for your body. But, it also calms your mind and it comforts my soul. Ive also made friendships that will last a lifetime.For 40 minutes, dance makes all the ugliness in the world disappear and allows my soul to be heard. For me, that is worth a great deal.I give thanks to my Arthur Murray family for transforming me - I couldnt be happier!

Arthur Murray Fort Worth help save my body and mind after a severe accident that almost left me paralyzed. I started at the studio with a severe limp and zero balance and very low self esteem and self consciousness about the damaged body I know had. The teachers and owners at the studio built a special program just for me that transformed my broken body and mind to a fully healed mind, spirit, and body. I had several surgeries that kept me out of the studio for several years and I just now returned back with everyone holding their arms wide open and welcoming me back. Being 21 and not knowing how to 2 step was a problem I had before walking into Arthur Murrays door. The staff of the studio is superb in ways that words arent adequate for. I thought I would only be in the studio maybe 2 times a week and next thing I know its been a year and half and now I am there every day trying to improve myself. The staff certainly lit my fire for dance making it my passion, and I honestly can not thank them enough from the bottom of my heart.If youre nervous about learning to dance I promise you wont be after your first introductory lesson.Come and give a shot folks you will love it.-Cameron Bachman

I enjoy dancing and this is a safe place with lots of great instructors and lots of great students. I have met so many nice people. Wish I lived closer so I could go more often.

Best way to stay in shape, share amazing things with your wife, meet new friends, and also be able to not look goofy at weddings. Win win win. Win.

I expected a lot more for the $500 per 4 wedding dance lessons my fiance and I paid for. For example, you are not provided with any lesson book or even an print out of what you go over in class, making it hard to practice direct from memory. Our instructor writes down in a journal what has been taught at the end of every lesson and makes us initial next to it, leading me to assume there have been disgruntled clients in the past and they want this documentation to insulate themselves but never provide the customer with a copy. We had to ask for a pen and paper so we could record the names of moves, step progressions, etc. Our instructor looked at us like we were crazy for requesting this.Overall, were dissapointed with the quality for the price.We have 3 more lessons to go, so perhaps this grade may improve.

This place is great and you get so much more then just learning how to dance. Dancing is a form of self help, and one Im glad I have in my and my childrens lives.

The instructors and staff are first class and display an unparalleled amount of knowledge, professionalism, enthusiasm and patience that make the overall experience at Arthur Murray a true pleasure.
