I absolutely love Studio One. Everyone is so incredibly nice and there is such a positive and loving Christian environment for everyone.They have great choreography and always have modest costumes and appropriate music. Studio One is like family and I love it so much.

I rate it a 5 because I have been dancing here for 10 years, and everyone is so nice, and they give amazing choreography!

Our daughter came here when she was 3 years old after hearing so many great things about it from a friend and enrolled her in summer classes to try out. She could not have had a better teacher to start her on this dance journey! Miss Kari.. She is all you would want as your daughters teacher. A strong and graceful person, who not only has a heart for God, but for all of the dancers she teaches. She will do what it takes to grow your dancer in technique, their spirit, how they treat others and their joy for dance. She has such a kind and sweet demeanor, yet she challenges them to be their best.This is our 9th year with this dance studio and all of the teachers and staff follow suit. Our daughter has grown so much as a dancer and person and has great role models there to help her along the way. We love the outreach opportunities that they are able to be a part of and being a part of Rising Stars and now Company, those opportunities are throughout the year. To minister in dance has been life changing and we are happy to continue to be a part of this wonderful studio.

We started at Studio One back in 2011 and new right from the start that this dance studio was perfect for our family!! We love that the studio seeks to glorify God in all aspects of dance and performance with their selection of costumes, music and dance moves. And we love that they have created a Christ-centered culture in the studio that seeks to encourage and lift up one another not only in dance but in the qualities and traits of being a follower of Christ and spreading His love to others. Our dancer is never bored and is always excited to master that next dance or leap or turn or tumbling move. We love SODC!!

Studio One Dance Center is an amazing dance studio with a fantastic well qualified staff who makes your dancer feel like family. My daughter has taken dance at SODC for 6 years and has loved every day of dance. They especially made dance special during COVID shut down with their amazing online classes and restructuring of the dance recital so the dancers were able to still have a spring recital. The most important asset is that they are a Christian centered studio that teaches the children how to love and worship the Lord through dance.

We have been at Studio One Dance Center for 6 years. My daughter LOVES being a part of the Elite Company. She has grown so much with the help of such dedicated staff. SODC is phenomenal business! They put the heart of God first. They teach all the children to dance with a purpose in order to bring joy to all of those around them. The owners and the teachers lead by example by showing the children how important it is to love on those who are less fortunate. They have done this by raising over $13,000 and collecting a years worth of school supplies for children in Africa. The teachers encourage all the children to be the best version of themselves and to go out into the community with a servants heart. I highly recommend sending your child to dance with them!

Studio One is an absolute class act! They teach their dancers at a high skill level, while helping them to achieve their goals! Any time I have been around them, their dancers seem very disciplined and respectful.I was at their Nutcracker fundraiser this year where they helped gather school supplies and raise over 13,000 for children in Zimbabwe! What a great legacy!

This summer was our first experience with Studio One and their dance camps. My daughter had the BEST time attending several of the camps! She left each day with such happiness and confidence thanks to Ms. Kari and Ms. Lindsey! Kudos to the curriculum planners and instructors who make these camps so great!

We love SODC! The staff is very warm and supportive. My daughter is only 3 so I can only review this age but it was perfect for my little one. I felt they were more age friendly than other local schools. We are getting ready to start our second year here.

We were looking for a place for our daughter that we could trust would be in line with our beliefs and not some of the dancing we would see as inappropriate for her. Studio One came highly recommend by 2 of my friends and WOW we are so glad they did! We have been very impressed with the education she is getting in dance; accompanied with Christian music, teachers with a genuine love for what they do, and excellent administration; all founded on their beliefs as Christians and dedication to surround everyone with His love. We absolutely could not be happier with our decision. Our 5 year old has grown so much and loves it! The relief to know our daughter is learning a sport she loves without the questionable moves and music is HUGE!

My daughter attends the ballet and jazz class and she absolutely loves it! The adult classes are great as well! I’ve done the aerial yoga workshop and Ember was an excellent instructor. I had never done anything like that before but she walked us through it and made sure we were comfortable with every pose. Recommend everything about this place :)

Ive had the honor of knowing the owners of Studio One Dance Center for several years now. I met them because their daughter out of nowhere came to the aid of my sobbing son outside of elementary school on his fist day of kindergarten. This beautiful soul patiently took my son by the hand and waited for him to walk into school. It was a precious moment all because of the people that raised that little girl.We soon came to know the Brast family.Studio One and the Brast’s are not just business owners, they dedicate their time and money helping local charities. These charities help children with illnesses find hope. They host fundraisers contributing to orphans in Africa for Gods sake, raising over $13000.They give scholarships to underprivileged families that have a love for dancing this bringing joy to the performers and audiences alikeI love the enthusiasm of the teachers. You can see that they are fulfilling their gifts as passionate instructors.Anyways, I dont write reviews very often but when it is well deserved it is my duty.

My daughter has danced at Studio One for 2 years, and she and I both love it. She has had two teachers, Miss Valerie and Miss Kari. They are both absolutely amazing! I am so thankful for this dance studio! To know that my daughter is being taught dance in a way that can glorify God is such a blessing.

We love Studio One! Its been great for our daughter who has been dancing with the studio since she was 5 -- she is now 9. She has learned tap, jazz, and ballet and it has been wonderful to see how she has grown in confidence in herself throughout the years. Studio One Dance Center offers a variety of dance styles at multiple levels so that my children have plenty of opportunities to discover and excel at whatever their heart might desire. They have a great group of teachers and staff that want to help my dancers achieve their full potential. In addition to having great people and variety, I especially like that they promote strong Christian values, such as modesty and kindness, and strive to glorify the Lord God in all things. I am proud to have my dancers be a part of this dance studio.

This fitness studio is just the perfect size. The instructors are fantastic! They not only work your body, but they CARE about you. They make sure you have correct form, challenge you to push yourself, and connect with you on a personal level. Just finished dance practice for our recital this year, and I am reminded at how much I LOVE Studio One Dance Center!!! As my daughter is not only dancing to but singing Sunday School Swing. I know when she is there she is in a great environment to learn, grow, and make mistakes because there are strong Christian leaders who will be there to guide her in the right direction. The desk is always helpful, sweet, organized and making everyone feel welcome! I cant imagine dancing anywhere else!

We love StudioOne! Our 2 year old is in the Mommy and Me class and the teacher is so wonderful with all of the girls.. she shows such patience and grace! All the staff at the studio is so inviting.

Staff not friendly. When my daughter decided that she did not want to dance anymore (because thats what kids do...they up and decide after youve spent lots of money...anyway) I sent a nice email to the staff and never got a reply or response at all. EDIT: I received a call from the owner who was very nice and apparently there was a miscommunication as to why I did not receive a call but the staff.

My little one was 2(almost 3) when she first started dancing at SODC. We started with a summer class to try it out and we fell in love! Now we have completed two and a half years and working on year three. The Christ-centered devotion of the studio from the attire, to the structure of class, and praying before class starts.. outstanding. The dance instructors truly believe in helping their students learn age appropriate technique while educating them on life lessons, and bringing glory to God through the joy of dancing. My daughter can be shy, and her growth and positive independence and belief in herself have been nurtured and strengthened through her experiences at SODC. I highly recommend SODC to everyone I talk Dance with! Give them a call and see if SODC is the right fit for your family. ❤️

My 4 year old daughter loves it! I’m planning on signing my almost 3 year old up too. I love that it is a Christian focus.I wrote the review above in 2017 and my three girls have been dancing there for four and three years now. We loved their Sparkle Squad with my older daughter and now my younger daughter is in it. We love dancing in the Nutcracker every year and the recital in May. And it still has a great Christian focus. My girls got to perform the daddy-daughter dance at recital this year and loved it!

Our Granddaughters continue to THRIVE at Studio One Dance Center, since they were tiny tots. We thouroughly enjoy the beautiful and highly professional recitals, productions, and dance competition choreography. We feel blessed to see our dancers mature with such grace and so much joy. I couldnt decide whether to leave a 1 or a 2 star. I wasnt sure if hated it described my experience but I sure didnt like it and would not recommend it to anyone. This is advertised as a Christian establishment, which is what drew me in. Apart from the music the children danced to and the fact that the costumes were more modest than other studios, I am not sure in what way they operate in a Godly fashion. My experience, anyway, did not reflect that. It isnt worth outlining every detail, but on more than one occasion, I felt like I was swindled out of money, and when it was in an instance that was their fault (I was charged for a class I should not have been and was told I would not be charged for) - it took MONTHS to get the amount reimbursed. After quite some time passed, we actually decided to send our daughter back there, because she enjoyed it, and I just knew to be more cautious with my funds with this company. However - in working things out with them and getting info about coming back to the studio, the business manager literally said to me on the phone, Im sorry I was nice. I was FLOORED. It was in regards to the mismanagement of my payment account (the charge incurred which shouldnt have been done). In any event - we decided quickly to not attend that establishment again. I have never been so insulted or worked with a Christian business and experienced this level of unprofessionalism and rudeness. I wouldnt recommend anyone attend there unless you want to pay an arm and a leg and then be told they are sorry for being nice (in the event they offer you a benefit or discount or kind action). We have found a new Dance studio and are very happy!! (And I have ended up running into other former dance teammates of my daughters that have also changed studios for the same type reasons!! I hadnt known the problem was so widespread when making my decision to leave Studio One). Happily, at the new place the PEOPLE are more important than the MONEY.

My daughter loves going to dance every week, and has learned so much since we started 4 years ago. Wonderful, Jesus centered environment for young girls and boys alike. We love SODC and will continue to make the 30+ drive for classes because it is so worth it. Five stars all the way!

My daughter is a student here in the Mommy and Me class and absolutely loves it! It’s amazing how much she’s learned in such a short time! It’s more than just dance! She’s learned balance, counting, colors, shapes, how to play with others and share, and how to listen to instruction! Her instructor is so kind and knows how to work well with young children!

My daughter enjoyed dacing here and we are very glad they were always very understanding of different issues she had health wise. Unfortunately after this summers recital Im very upset at the fact that my daughters daddy daughter clothes/shoes (NIKE LEGGING/NIKE SHOES) were stolen from the dressing area. I dont get what room moms are for if the dressing room was crawling with mothers, and specially with one with so low morals she STOLE our items. And yes her things were stolen taken out of her bag only thing left in there was her simple flip flops. Im very upset at the way the people in charged managed the dressing area. More upsetting is that those shoes were very special to my daughter, again I confidently say stolen because nothing was has been turned in. other than the studio not following thru with the whole only room moms in dressing area i guess everything else is ok***** after posting this review my complaint was resolved so quick and i appreciate it very much, too bad it took over two month before action was taken******Again other than the unfortunate event everything else was great

I joined SODO Fitness in November & felt right at home. The instructors are amazing & the staff is great. The members there are the best. I highly recommend Studio One!

Never realized how skimpy dance costumes for little kids could be until I started going to dance events. So thankful SODC covers up these little ones with age appropriate costumes.

I love studio one! The fitness schedule and the classes are first class! I have tried every workout and loved them; the small class numbers mean that I get a personalised workout from the awesome instructors. I also recently began to take aerial yoga with ember Nevill. This is amazing! I’m a complete beginner but ember made me feel at ease and I was soon flying in the silk! Thank you for everything you do and provide SODC!!

We have danced at Studio One for 7 years. We love the excellent teachers, great friendships and wonderful skills learned each year. An added bonus is that costumes are always tasteful and the music is appropriate for anyone!

I have been a member of SODC Fitness since they opened classes in November. The instructors are phenomenal and the classes are all of exceptional quality. Because of the small groups, the members get a lot of personal attention. The instructors know all of us by name and are creating a real family atmosphere.SODC Fitness is different from traditional fitness studios in that you sign up for specific classes. The advantage is that you quickly get to know the other members, create accountability and bond easily. Plus you always have your spot guaranteed! I am taking some of the classes with my 12 year old son, and it is refreshing how welcomed he is, even though he may be the only kid working out alongside a group of adults. This is such a great experience for him. He learns at an early age that fitness is fun and rewarding and that commitment pays off. We love working out at SODC!
