This is a career field in which has great job security as it is a job that is very much in demand and needed in society today as long as people still have mouths, gums, and teeth. Therefore, this is a great option if one is considering a career. This was one of the best decisions of my life and I am glad I went to this school. The transition from graduating to obtaining a job only took me two weeks and I was able to obtain a job during my first interview. The instructors are more than adequate and are very attentive to their students needs. They are very clear as what is expected and required of the student in order for success. The program may be intensive, but the instructors are there to help the students succeed. There are no bad questions when trying to learn. The instructors here genuinely care about their students and their student’s success. They are very passionate about their profession, more than sufficient, and highly educated in their occupational fields. They helped me with job placement and even helped prepare me for the interview process. You can count on this school and the professionals to provide the knowledge and the proper tutelage to the student to maximize their potential and successfully prepare the students to start working in the field after graduation.

I just graduated from this program a couple of days ago & can confidently say that choosing to attend this school is one of the best decisions I’ve made. After not being accepted into the dental hygiene program I wanted to be in, I was stuck & didn’t know what to do next. However, I knew I was still interested in dentistry & didn’t want to give up on working in the dental field. I had already previously found this school while looking for a dental assisting school near me so I decided to give them a call. Turns out the next semester was going to start in a week! So my sister & I decided to go for it & apply to the program & I’m so glad we did! The staff was so nice & helpful throughout the program. I could tell they truly cared and wanted all their students to succeed. After taking this program I feel prepared to start my career in dentistry. Thank you so much TADA!!

THANK YOU TADA!!! I graduated from Texas Academy of dental assisting in December of 2019. After a long process of looking for cert. programs and deciding dentistry was the path for me and almost attending a 9 month program for the “low cost” of $18,000! I stumbled upon this program 3 days before my first day of class... something in me told me to reach out and I’m so glad I did. After my canceling the student loans I was required to take out to afford the 9 month program, I headed to Fort Worth to check out the 3 month program many google reviews raved about and fell in love. The small classes allotted for more hands on and interactive learning, allowed me to still work full time, great and very caring instructors made me feel like I was to be valued in the world of dentistry, made me confident and gave me the tools to have the knowledge and right attitude to be successful in this industry. Now, a year and a half later, am a leader in a very successful office, confident in my abilities and I continue to learn every step of the way. Without my accidental stumble upon TADA I do not believe that I would be where I am in my career and in my bank account today. THANK YOU for helping me save money, time and setting me up with the right tools to be where I am today. If you are looking for a life or career change, dentistry is a very promising and enjoyable field and Sheila and the instructors of this school are the right ones to help you on your path!

Four years ago, I was working as an assistant manager for a Little Caesars Pizza restaurant. With no plans of doing anything else, but work, my life at the time became a boring routine. When I finally decided to make a change in my life, I looked into Texas Academy of Dental Assisting for a career change (not knowing just how much this decision was going to actually change my life). After finishing the program and acquiring my RDA license, I was quickly hired at a general dental office. I worked at this office for the next four years. However, within the first year of being exposed to the field of dentistry, I absolutely loved it, and I was soon inspired to pursue a far more challenging position in dentistry --becoming a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS). I began applying to college with the determination of getting into dental school.Fast forward four years, and Im finishing my degree in biology and minoring in biochemistry & psychology. Additionally, I type this review 3 weeks before my first dental school interview at Texas A&M Baylor College of Dentistry confident on my knowledge in dentistry and sciences.Needless to say, applying to the Texas Academy of Dental Assisting has, by far, been the best decision I have ever made in my life. Applying here four years ago, not only allowed me to obtain a divergent job, but it directed my vision onto pursuing a whole career I never thought Id be chasing after four years ago.So if youre indecisive whether applying here is good idea or not, my advice to you is, just apply. You never know how this minor investment in your life may potentially change your life, drastically.

The BEST dental school in the country!!! I could not recommend TADA enough! If you’re unsure of what school you should attend to become an RDA, look no further. You’ve found the perfect place! The price for the school is so cost efficient. The teachers are absolutely wonderful. They take the time to teach each student individually! The class is split up into clinical and lecture. Half of the morning is spent in the clinic and half is in the classroom. I assure you that high school was not my favorite thing, but TADA didn’t feel like school. The teachers and doctor make it all so fun. I felt like a sponge soaking up all of this new information and for the first time I could remember so easily! The classes are small and the facility is nice. I loved that it was so hands-on. The teachers still keep up with me and I get an encouraging message every now and then. It’s really nice to know you’re truly cared about. They also have a professional resume writer for when you graduate from TADA that will write your resume for you! If you still need to work and go to school that’s no problem. They offer morning/night classes and it’s only TWICE A WEEK for three hours! A lot of my coworkers paid TRIPLE the amount I did for the same program at a different location or online. I love TADA and I will forever recommend this dental school to anybody interested in becoming an RDA! I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

I attended TADA in my late 20’s back in 2012!! I was burned out in the banking world and always had a interest in the dental field. The skeptic that I am caused me to review every school out in my area. When I met Shelia for my interview it was a no brainer, this was a well ran school and the cost was more affordable then others. Not to mention the schools hours allowed me to continue my full time job, which was of major importance to keep a roof over my head. I’m proud to share my experience with them and so happy with my career path. There’s so many opportunities once you have your RDA! So many different jobs that it can file into. I started as a newbie RDA 8 years ago and since transition from Hygiene Assistant, Clinical Assistant, Hygiene Cordinator, Insurance Cordinator and my most recent accomplishment is Office Manager. Not worth the money spent. The Instructors are super nice, but not enough training and not enough hands on. My opinion.... Spend your money else where. Make sure its not only a couple days a week for a couple of hours, and for only 12 weeks. There is so much to learn and cover in the Dental Field. This Academy definitely will not do that for you. If youre looking to find actual hands on, and getting more knowledge in the Dental Field, this is definitely not the place. But if you are looking for a place to just get a quick certification for your RDA with no training, and to just get you in and out, then this is the place. Good Luck and hope this helps.

I attended this school in the Fall of 2014. This was by far the greatest experiences of my life. I would encourage anyone that is interested in being a dental assistant to go through this course. You will not be disappointed. All the instructors were very helpful and easy to talk to. You get a lot of hands on experience that you would not get at a actual college. I give this school two thumbs up!!!

I am a recent graduate of this wonderful school and it was a great journey. They have several really attentive and very friendly instructors that truly, genuinely care about your success and will go the extra mile to see to it. It is a 3 month course that really goes by fast and you will want it to be longer just so you can see your fellow students and instructors because you get to really know every one there. I would highly recommend this school for anyone that is looking for a solid career path with growth potential, and anyone that is tired of working basic jobs just to make ends meet. This school also does one VERY important thing that most of the schools in the area do not do, which is they give you hands on experience every day you come to class and after the course is complete they will push your resume out to dental offices to help you get that dream job! Overall, going here was one of the best choices of my life and I think it could be yours as well. 5/5 stars!

Applying to the Academy of Dental Assisting in Fort Worth was one of the best decisions I could have ever made. When I was accepted in to the program, I never imagined that I could have had a better experience. Dr. McDonald and his team of instructors were amazing!! They are caring, knowledgeable, and made learning really fun! The best part about this school is everything is hands on. You actually get to do the things you are being taught, which in my opinion is the best and easiest way to learn. See and do!I cant think Dr. M and his team enough for the dedication they gave me and my classmates each night. They made it a priority to be there for us each night, always with a smile on their face even after they worked long hours during the day. They never complained and always provided us with the tools we needed to succeed. We all became a huge family and I miss every one of them.

I am so thankful, I found this place. This place has helped me so much, I found a job shortly after graduation! Unfortunately, not a great office... there were any problems and when things got sour, I knew where turn for advice! When I was going to school everyone also cared a lot! No one ever made you feel like they didn’t want to be there, or made you feel bad for not understanding something the first time. They are people who genuinely care which is pretty rare to in a school!Thank you, so much again for everything!💕

The Texas Academy of Dental Assisting is a great place to be if youre looking to start a career in the dental field. I was at first skeptical as to how a 3 month program could cover everything I could possible know to get a good job right away. However, as soon as I met Sheila for the personal interview, she automatically made me feel so welcomed and happy to be there and all skepticism flew right out of the window (I wasnt even a student yet)!Dr. McDonald, Ms. Sheila, and their entire staff make it very apparent from the beginning that they will provide you everything you could possible need to start your career. It is a very hands on course, and they are always happy to help you whenever you need it. They make you WANT to learn and they really do care about every one of their students.Thank you so much for being so awesome!!

Having been a stay home mom for 4 years I was ready for a change! I looked up Dental Assisting schools online and this school and program stuck out to me right away. The enrollment process was very easy. Each night of class you get hands on training and learning. The instructors are amazing! They make sure you understand everything and are comfortable with it. They also offer constructive criticism without making you feel dumb, which is really important in a field like Dental Assisting because your quality of your work is very important. Sheila, Julie, Dr. McDonald and every single instructor go above and beyond to make sure you are ready to work or already have a job before you graduate! I had one interview and a working interview before graduation and another interview just 5 days after graduation. I couldnt be more happy with my choice of this school!! Thank you TADA!

This school does not do a good job educating or preparing their students for a career as a dental assistant. There is not enough hands on training. The class before my final I told an instructor that I did not feel confident in taking and passing the test. Her exact words were oh dont worry about it. You could totally bomb the test and well still pass you. They do not care about your career or future in the dental field. They just hurry you through the 3 month (6 hours a week) program so they can collect the next $4,000 dollars from the next group.

With my certificate I can pursue work anywhere in the U.S I also read how dental assisting is one of the fastest growing careers in the country. Getting laid off is something I want to avoid. I wanted a job and be in demand. This school walked alongside me and supported me during my courses, and my job search. When I interviewed, the dentists were impressed by my education. I chose a job close to home and love it. You can do it too, no matter what your age. Call and ask for a tour. The office facility alone is worth the visit.
