I went to this school all the way up until my 5th grade year then moved away...this school was the most influential part of my life. They were family. The teachers cared about the students they taught and they genuinely loved every single one of them. I am a freshman in college now and I can still remember the amazing people there. Thank you to all of the staff and faculty former and retired who put your whole lives into this ministry❤️

Horrible experience here. My children have had the worst experience at this school from teachers using black students a examples in class and calling them negroes on up to the crazy nurse who calls 10 times I one day for a playground accident. Sons teacher displayed his scifi hero artwork to the entire class and told them it was evil even though there was nothing inappropriate about it. Staff definitely oversteps their boundaries and become very shady when called out and make c the parent out to be the problem.

Mrs. Bodiford is the most awesome 5th grade teacher I have this year she does really fun expiriments.

This was such an amazing elementary school. It breaks my heart that some of the most dedicated and incredible teachers I have ever met have to be tied to a school that is being destroyed by the lack of positive leadership. Mrs. Mary Jane Marshall would never have allowed this school to fall from grace the way it has. We moved to this neighborhood just for our children to attend this school. The school still has a large number of amazing teachers but each year that passes more great teachers leave. I really hope that someone with the power to make changes takes notice of the great teachers leaving so that they can keep the great ones they have left. We had a wonderful experience up until 5th grade for oneof our children. It is sad that the school only has one 5th grade math teacher and she has no business teaching children. What is worse is that when a straight A student begins to actually fail a class that they have never struggled in nobody in a position of authority saw that as a problem. My child was labeled as a trouble maker yet nobody noticed it was only one class that there was ever an issue. When he asked for help he was told she didnt have time to help him she could only help those who struggle with STAAR testing. Needless to say with him moving out of that school for middle school we took our other child out as well. We are on our 2nd year of damage control and desperately trying to get our son to find the love of school that he had before. Yes, it was that bad and yes this is the damage one teacher can cause.
