Its a great place. I go there to play Pokemon Go and there are 6 gyms and around 18 gyms in close proximity. The security is very nice and respectful. Also the campus is beautiful.

My daughter attends here, but if I had any say she wouldn’t. It is just your typical liberal university pushing the media’s propaganda and trying to brainwash their students. I will not allow any of my other children to attend here. I would not recommend attending here to anyone and I am counting down the days until we are done with this place.

I do not recommend going here for your online MBA. Most classes are only 2 credit hours and will not transfer to other universities because most require classes to be 3 credit hours. Definitely overpriced. There are other universities that offer online MBAs at a lower price. Also, there is no refund if you drop a class after the start date apparently. Not even a partial refund like most other universities. Which means I lost $1972 for a class I didn’t take or get credit for and now it’s reflected on my student loan balance.

The campus of this school is beautiful and pristine! Love the layout of the buildings, the nature that blooms between the place and how everything is pristine. I went here for a job interview, the faculty were so welcoming and I felt that they genuinely care about your academic success. It is a very nice school.

Such a great school. The clases are small enough that you dont get lost in the crowd. The professors are amazing, extremely knowledgeable in their area of teaching & passionate about teaching. Plus they really encourage students to get to know them, and are so supportive. The campus and students are not intimidating at all. Really feels like everyone knows everyone. It might be a small school but it has a huge impact on its students & staff.

This campus is a wonderful starting ground for incoming freshman. From being greeted right on the first day of classes there is an interaction between both students and staff that is meaningful. While you have to be outgoing yourself, there are a numerous amount of opportunities that can help students engage with one another and help develop relationships. While this campus is growing little by little, there is more opportunity rising.

I never got to experience this campus because some of the recruiters who came to the TCC campuses were either; rude or what talk down about other four year campuses. I just did not care for the way Texas Wesleyan was presented to me by the recruiters. Maybe the University is a really good campus who needs better marketing by the recruiters they send out. And that is why I ended up and graduated from UT-Arlington..

Not worth going to. Very over priced for what you get out of the school. Housing is terrible... ants everywhere, air conditioning doesn’t work and the building it self is very dirty. WiFi works like every other day. The school is just too old. The meal plan is too expensive for the same food you would eat everyday and is not sanitary... there was once a rat that a worker told me fell from the ceiling and they never closed down to fix the issue. This school doesn’t give a good actual college experience it just feels like being in high school all over again. Also, this area is not safe AT ALL. There’s been many assaults and robberies and you can even hear gunshots at night. I did not feel safe at the school at all and my parents were definitely upset about this campus. There’s always security on duty but yet, some how there’s always an incident that happens either on or near campus. They don’t even notify when some of the incidents take place. I personally wouldn’t recommend this school period.

I currently enroll in the school the financial aid and cashier staff is very unprofessional they dont let you know if you have a balance with the school the tution keeps increasing and its not worth it. I have been in a situation where I have a balance and didnt know and still had to attend classes and they didnt drop my classes.

The professors are wonderful the ideal learning environment, although the institution on the other hand is quite expensive for the area. The school does absolutely nothing to help their own students even though it is located in a low-income, impoverished neighborhood. One would think that they would be more focused on and committed to student success being that most people choose not to attend because of the drug use, violence, theft and other crimes surrounding the community. I cant even afford to graduate on time because I have to take a few classes at a time. When I transferred to Texas Wesleyan I didnt qualify for a transfer scholarship I had missed it by one point (so I was told) now theyve changed and lowered the requirements to 2.0- 2.49 but of course now I dont qualify anymore which is unfair. Dont even get me started on the unprofessionalism of the Administration Department, they are rude, abrupt, impolite and offensive when you ask questions. The Financial Aid office doesnt take the time to help students find other forms of assistance to pay for school. My Aid Advisor caused me to miss out on a scholarship that she didnt even inform me about, when I asked her about it she told me I missed the deadline (sorry) but showed no concern at all. Ive talked to countless students who were forced to sit out a year because they couldnt pay their unpaid balance on time. This university should do more by implementing ways to make sure their students can graduate. Its horrible to be delayed for one or two years all because you couldnt afford tuition cost, for God sakes my professor started a food pantry out of her own pocket because students couldnt afford food and tuition. They are very quick to insinuate that monies are being allocated towards improving the school although the students never reap the benefits.Hello quick update, after struggling to come up with $7000 to return to school I finished the year successfully only to be hit with more devastating news.I am suppose to graduate in the spring of 2020, but my dreams wont seem to come true because I have a bill of $4000 dollars. This school is too expensive and people from lower socio economic backgrounds will find it difficult to graduate. I am so disappointed, all I ever wanted was a good education and make a better life for my children.

Do not come to this school !! They do not handle business well. The only thing they have to offer is a class size. Also the athletic training department is awful. With the exception of the one of the Athletic trainers none of them care. They withheld my refund for almost a month. This campus is dead. Do not waste your money coming here because they will offer you money to get you here then take the scholarship or grant after you get too far to transfer. Also it is a mostly Saudi Arabian and foreign students on campus and they get away with bloody murder. This includr but is nit limoted to stalking, drugs, pissing outside your window, and racing their cars and motor cycles across campus. IF you arent a foreign student you can basically expect nothing from the administration. I could continue this review forever. Not to mention that the financial aid and housing department do not do their jobs unless you kiss their asses. If you are a token or star student they could care less about you and your experience. Leaving here was the best thing I did. If you dont believe this ask one if the students you see in campus that dont lead the orientation and you will be shocked !!! I hope this helps.

My son and I came to Texas Wesleyan University for his baseball tryout, but left with so much more. We arrived early to survey the area attempting to create a more relaxing tryout experience. Campus Security was our first interaction with university staff. They offered us general information with a kind greeting. We walked around for about ten minutes when another staff member approach us offering a professional greeting and general campus tour. He even walked with us to the Admissions office. In the Admissions office we were welcomed by student staffers, counselors and the Admissions Director. They offered us refreshments and gave us a tour of the Science Department and the Financial Department. My son was able to meet the Dean of his intended major for the Pre-Dentistry program. We were also given an opportunity to sit down with a Texas Wesleyan Financial Aid Advisor that same morning. We had not made a single appointment with any of these offices on campus. We finished in time for a short lunchbreak before heading to the baseball tryout. Once at the tryout, my sons first impression of the team was the players. They were welcoming and excepting. The head coach waved from the lawn mower while the assistant coach ran my sons tryout during practice. When all was done, my son made the team! Our first experience with the college that day was not packed full was bells, whistles, cheering and free stuff. It was a day full of polite, friendly, educated people all focused on proudly promoting their university, Texas Wesleyan. My son will be a member of the entering Freshman Fall Class 2017.

Staff not very friendly. Checked the school out w my daughter after she was offered a scholarship. I know financial aid depts arent the happiest/most fun place to be but I still expect to be treated respectfully & professionally. Was accused of lying on docs & questioned (interrogated) about how we are able to support ourselves (it was a VERY hard year for our fam). I left in tears. Humiliating experience. But, it all worked out. She is doing great at the other TWU (Texas womans uni). TL/DR: bad experience. Wouldnt recommend based on fin. aid dept alone.

I would definitely look into and read as much as you can about this campus before attending here. The staff is poorly trained. They make TCC look like a shining trophy. Your local TCC campus will provide better service & environment than this place. I didnt actually think a lot of the negative things I heard about this campus were true until I experienced an influx of this myself. I would look elsewhere for my education. I MAJOR reason for this is the difficulty with the staffs extremely poor communication skills. It would be a far better idea to attend UTA because you wont get help from any of the staff here.
